Great Batteries for a Great Price.
As much as I like the Engergizer Bunny, I think Rayovac is becoming my favorite brand of batteries. They last just as long as any of the other major brands (Engerizer, Duracel, etc) and are less expensive. Plus, Rayovac often has special packs you can buy giving you even more bang for your buck. In short, these are some great batteries for a great price.

Provides for days of usage with pocket games
No, not educational unless there are booklets that show how batteries are made! Durability, well, it is a battery, how durable does it need to be? Well, I'm pleased! I was able to provide batteries for one item I knew would need it and provide yet even more items that I did not count on receiving. Nor did I realize they would need batteries until I looked at the packages. Absolutely tickled they were offered automatically with my order, otherwise, I would not have made the purchase. ... Gimme an A! Gimme another A!
Sheesh-- I thought I'd hit the bottom of the barrel when I started doin' Amazon reviews for socks, bedspreads, and shaving razors! But reviewing batteries? This is definitely a whole new low for me...

But I digress. Being someone who owns and regularly plays/uses a couple dozen hand-held/portable electronic games (see what I'm talkin' about at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/listmania/list-browse/-/3U1GDAL5MCFA4/ref=cm_aya_av.lm_more/102-0973344-6392964), a trio of remote controls, a pair of mini-flashlights and a graphing calculator, it's pretty much a given that I go through AA batteries like a fiend. However, I do not wish to spend money on new AAs like a fiend. So when my supply is running low I'll usually buy a bulk pack (24+ cells) that gives me the best value for my scratch. Almost invariably, the brand that occupies the best-value end of the battery-purchasing spectrum is Ray-O-Vac. From what I've experienced, they work just as well and last just as long as their Energizer and Duracell counterparts. Which means I can play my fave hand-helds for a good while, and have a few shekels left over to buy a new AA-powered doohickey to add to my already-overflowing collection...

Final aside: Who the hey came up with the bright idea to saddle this product with the three-part fun/educational/durability rating that Amazon/Toys-R-Us reserves for toys and games?! Anybody out there have a clue on how I should rate this product on the 'fun' and 'educational' scales? Um... hello? A little help here...?

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BUNNY KICKS BUTT!
I've done my own un-official testing of Energizer Vs. Duracel on MANY occassions; keeping track of the amount of play-time I could get out of each, while using them in portable Tape Players and C.D. Players over a period of approximately 10 Years. Without question, Energizer wins ........................ PLUS, THE LIL' BUNNY'S JUST PLAIN CUTE! (***My only complaint: I wish they'd make up their minds and CONSISTENTLY put the Testers on ALL of their Battery Sizes!).

3-0 out of 5 stars Going, and Going, and....
Energiser has been known to keep going and going and going... well, I bet they could design a battery that lasts longer than this...sure, it might outlast duracel, but I KNOW they can create a battery that lasts longer (jeez, in Eng-Phys we made a better battery!) but too the battery... on the market these days, this is the best you are gonna get... my one complaint would be that the "tester" should be designed better... the stars is just not enough of an accurate reading! I much prefer Duracel's tester to this one, at least you can gauge longevity!

5-0 out of 5 stars Little miracle bundles!
These truly are an incredible feat of engineering. When my HP calculator ceased to function I was told I needed some new 'batteries' to get it to work again. Apparently the answers to all my compational questions are stored in these little guys, and I had used up all the answers from the set included with the calculator.

First I was enraged that I was tricked into buying into a subscription service to use my calculator, I can't just own it, no, I have to pay money every year to use it, and recharge the 'answer juice'. Truly a crock.

Then came fear as I wondered whether the new answers stored in the batteries would be as accurate as the ones before, just the daunting prospect of having to test all the possibilities and verify their results sent chills down my spine.

But I needed my answers! So I shelled out the money and bought myself four of these magical answer stores. Of course my calculator only needed three (yet another scam from the hotdog and hotdog bun people!), but so far all the answers I've been getting seem accurate, so I give these 5 stars.

My only complaint would be that they should be designed so that I can input answers into the batteries myself, so that I might recharge them without buying new ones. This seems like an obvious idea, and I suspect the 'powers that be' are just keeping that technology away so we keep sustaining them with the ridiculous subscription model.

5-0 out of 5 stars Are you kidding
You can't underestimate the importance of quality batteries to the functioning of the Visor Deluxe. One caution though: make sure the +/- symbols match up with the corresponding symbols in the battery slot of the Visor Deluxe. Taking care of this otherwise obvious task really does make the Visor's display clearer and it also improves the download time for many valuable Visor applications. Good work, Energizer. Keep on banging that drum all day!

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent accessory for my Visor
I find batteries improved the productivity of my new Visor a great deal. Before I placed a couple batteries into the "battery port", I had a terrible time getting my Visor to Hot-Sink and the display was completely unreadable.

At first I had trouble fitting them into the springboard port, but after exhaustive search, I found a specific "Battery Port" that they fit into quite nicely. I guess I'll have to wait a little longer for the springboard battery module.

Also make sure that the small "+" and "-" symbols match those in the battery port. I think future versions of the battery modules should only go in one way to avoid accidentally placing them in the device incorrectly. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great batteries, long lasting
I have used these batteries before and are really great. I have used them continuously for 3 weeks.... around 7-8 hours a day. They work just great. I am right now on amazon.com to buy these again....

4-0 out of 5 stars there just batteries
theyre friggin' batteries. what else can I say. they last ok and cost ok. no big deal.

3-0 out of 5 stars You can get better
So these were really irritatting to me I bought a 12 pack of these and went threw the whole intire pack in 4 days, I only used them in my walkman, they just didn't last that long, not even a whole work shift which sucks. oh well wanted to write a review for it so everyone could know that these are probably just good for remote controls or something that hardly uses any power. Definatley not for electronics at all!

4-0 out of 5 stars I Always Wanted To Write a Battery Review
I used to buy Energizers and Duracells at $3-4 a pop for four batteries. Now I buy generic Alkalines at Costco. Cost: $8 for 10 four packs. It's like having a battery store in the kitchen drawer. According to a recent coprehensive story in Consumer Reports, there is only a little difference between name brand and generic alkaline batteries.

4-0 out of 5 stars titanium
Energizer batteries are alright, Duracell are about equal, if not slightly better with their new ultra batteries in certain high-tech devices. However, in a little while energizer will be releasing titanium batteries which last 85% longer. personally, I will wait and buy those batteries (unless I absolutely need the batteries now). ... who would right a review about batterieswell i think that energizers are better than so and so who cares about batteriesby the way i like energizer batteries

5-0 out of 5 stars Batteries...
I have to say...Isn't it rather strange to review batteries? But hey, here I am, reviewing the batteries. They're, well, batteries.Put them on your tongue, and they tingle. If you throw them in water, ... well, just don't do that. But, um, well, uh, they're...Energizer batteries!Yeah, buy some today...I think.

4-0 out of 5 stars Battery comparison
I recently compared the Energizer with the Duracell Ultra which is more or less in the same price class. We are busy developing a new electronic gadget for monitoring pressure of truck tyres. I connected both theEnergizer and the Duracell Ultra to a 1.64mA constant resistance load. Ifound that the Energizer was behind the Duracell all the way on myVoltage-Time graphs. I found it interesting to see that the Energizer tendto loose more power under low temperatures (zero degrees Celcius), but tendto stay near the Duracell in near room temperatures. Well thats my remark.I only want to say this, its after all not a bad buy...

5-0 out of 5 stars Batteries, schmatteries

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow! (4) C-size batteries!
The possibilities are endless with these batteries!!For instance you can use batteries to run a device such as your very own personal massager for hours on end! What a way to relieve stress after a long hard day of work. You know it will last long because the pink bunny makes it so. Yay!

3-0 out of 5 stars Not as good...
With as many batteries as I use, I may be heading for record breaking status. And I have found that Duracell lasts longer in the C and D sizes.I do like Energizer best for AAA and AA.

5-0 out of 5 stars Energizer is Better
Energizers last longer than Duracell and are equal in price. Enough said?

5-0 out of 5 stars Buy these
Alkalines have a long shelf life. Nicads and NiMh don't. Rechargeable batteries do not give a standard voltage level (1.25 v or 1.50 v). Alkaline batteries are better than rechargeables.
