5-0 out of 5 stars Just too cute to believe!
I just recently purchased this doll for my neice who is almost 8 years old.My neice loves the "Bratz" dolls, but I am not thrilled with them.SO, with that in mind I went ahead and bought the Ariel toddler singing doll.I love that fact that this doll has a really pretty voice and is beautiful. The doll has soft, shiny hair, sings a really cute song and has a really pretty outfit. When my neice realized that the doll was for her she couldn't believe it.She was too amazed with the beauty of the doll to miss that fact that she didn't get a Bratzand was delighted with the fact that Ariel sings. My neice has now really taken a liking to ALL the dolls in this line and is so happy!! She has even asked me to please buy Belle for her little sister (who is 5) because she wants her sister to have a beautiful doll too.I am thrilled that I have finally found something that both my neices can play with together! There are additional clothes you can buy, and more "singing" dolls are on the way.I can't wait to buy singing Snow White and join in the fun with my neices!=)So, if your looking for an educational, fun, durable and overall just precious doll, this is the one to buy!Perfect for all ages, even 8 year olds............. ... Get all 3 Pop Dreamer dolls to really enjoy this toy
My 5-year-old daughter got all 3 Pop Dreamer dolls for Christmas and LOVES them. I can understand the reviews not being so good if you only have one doll, but when you have all 3, they sing and interact with one another. They "know" when they are wearing another doll's clothes and comment on it, and they sing other songs together. We also bought the Pop Dreamers music CD, which my daughter loves, too.

Doll's adorable, but the packing is nuts!
Your child will adore this doll... if you can ever get it out of the box. Security measures are far overdone, with twisties and tape being the least of the problem. The worst? They sewed her hair to the box! The end result is some very tangled hair once you remove her, but after that, she's nothing but fun. I got this for my learning impaired 6 year old and he loves to hear "his girlfriend" sing.

GABRIELLA
My daughter really enjoys this doll and its been about 5 months since she got to pick it out. She is autistic but she sings along with it. The hair messes up and is a little difficult to fix. But it is quite durable and her singing contents are positive.

Best Xmas buy
I got Ari for a 3-year-old and my 6-year-old had to have one of her own. They are getting all the attention of the presents. It is fun for the kids to swap clothes and have the dolls recognize that. Also, my daughter was just complaining about the lack of cute brown-hair, brown-eye dolls and this doll made her feel positive about her coloring. Only downside is that the "interaction" between the dolls was oversold. We cannot make the dolls have a conversation with each other--only one of the dolls does the talking.

Disney quality!
This doll is definetely one to give your daughter. Unlike other pop dolls, like Diva Starz, the Disney Pop Dreamers are pretty and clothed.

When you put all of the dolls together, they sing together. It's a great playtime toy! ... Read more

Editorial Review

Adorable Dora, from the popular Nick Jr. television show Dora the Explorer, will teach your child a bit of Spanish when you press her left shoelace. She stands about a foot tall and swivels around on her oversize sneakers while she talks about color, clothing, and pronounces other common words in English and Spanish. And every so often, when the buttonlike shoelace is pressed, she'll perform the "We Did It" song from the TV show, complete with dance moves and a bit of pop music in the background. Dora is dressed in bright pink and orange clothing that is not removable (the toy is made for kids ages 2 and older) and has a head of thick brown hair. Most of her body is hard plastic, except for her arms, which are soft fabric. We were impressed that she was so sturdy on her feet, even while dancing--you'll probably want to keep her on the floor, though, as she did move across the table we had her standing on. Dora runs on four AA batteries (not included). --M. Sullivan ... Read more

Boys love Dora too!
My 4 yo son absolutely loves Dora! He walks around the house calling Dora his "girlfriend". He recieved Singing Dora for his 4th bday from my mother. Needless to say Dh was not sharing our sons excitement about this toy but we agree even the manliest of men have played with dolls in their day lol.

This Dora toy is very cute. You press her shoelace and she sings and plays different games with you. She is educational in the sence she speaks spanish as well as english in the songs and games which teaches children spanish while they are having fun.

My daughter loves Dora!
My daughter received this Dancing Dora for Christmas. She is 2 years old and loves Dora. This was a hit. From all the toys she got on chirstmas this was her favorite. She still play with her Dora all the time. She dances and sings with the doll and have learned all the "spanish words" that Dora says. I really recommend this doll to any Dora the Explorer Fan.

my daughter LOVES this thing.....
I'm not sure exactly why, but my 2.5 year old daughter adores this thing.... it's not cuddly - it's hard plastic. And when it dances and sings it kinda acts like it's having convulsions. Nonetheless, my daughter absolutely loves it so I give it five stars!! Even my baby daughter gets on her knees and bounces when Dora sings "we did it!".

A great way to introduce a 2nd language
Our granddaughter loves this toy. Sometimes she gets bored quickly, but she usually comes back to silly Dora.

The greatest thing about this toy is that it teaches Spanish! What a wonderful idea. I've never seen the show but my Granddaughter loves it and it was a big hit at the birthday party.

Picking it up I'm afraid if I twist it, it will break, but I'm certainly not going to try. I would recommend this.

Problem with tea pot quickly resolved by manufacturer
My daughter received the Disney Princess tea set for her 2nd birthday from her grandparents. She absolutely loved it and played with it often. Less than two months later the tea pot started to short out and the voices/sounds would not play. I went to the manufacturer's web site (Thinkway Toys - www.thinkwaytoys.com) and looked up their customer service email address. I sent an email detailing the problem and asked how to go about getting a replacement. They responded quickly and happily replaced the teapot. I received the replacement with no hassle and very quickly (within a few days!). The replacement works great!! I am very pleased with their customer service. 5 stars for customer service!

The voices started to sound garbled
We bought this for our daughter at Christmas and after about 2 weeks, the voices on the teapod sounded staticy and garbled. The problem was NOT corrected with new batteries so I have contacted Thinkway toys (the manufacturer) and am waiting to see if they will replace the tea pot. My daughter still has tea parties but is dissapointed when she can't hear the princeses talke to her. We'll see what happens.

Now it's ALWAYS tea time
We bought this tea set for our granddaughter this past Christmas. She's loved it from Day 1. We've told some other family members, who are now getting them to send to their relatives in Spain.

Best Tea Set EVER!!
My daughter got this for her 2nd birthday. I was convinced she was too young for it and would not be interested in it yet- BOY WAS I WRONG!!! She absolutely LOVES it. She is even able to change the differnt tops out herself. We do go one single day without having tea. This has majorly jumpstarted her imaginative play skills. You will not be sorry you purchased this-she plays with it for hours!!

Excellent Toy for any Princess
This product brought joy to both of my children from the minute my daughter opened it on Christmas morning to present day, My daughter and son have at least 2 tea parties a day; the voices on the tea pot are clear as a bell and when the children pour the tea it has a pouring sound that is fantastic; this product is very sturdy and I would recommend buying two one for play and one for future grandchildren (hehehehe) ... Get all 3 Pop Dreamers to really enjoy this toy

The Ari Experience!
I have two girls. My parents gave Ari to my 5 year old for her birthday this summer, and gave the little Ariel princess to my 1 year old. To our surprise, our 1 year old is in love with Ari. She knows where the songs are located (in her shoes). My 1 year old can't get enough of the doll.

Cute but boring
My 5 year old daughter got this for Christmas and at first she loved it. That lasted for 2 days. It plays the same song over and over and doesn't do much else. It has very few clothes to dress it up with and she hasn't touched it at all for the last 6 months. I recommend you spend your money on something else.

Cute, but not much else.
My 3 1/2 yr. old received Ari for Christmas and my 6 yr. old received Ella. This "modernized" Ariel the little mermaid doll is really cute, but not much else. She says the same phrases and sings the same song over and over. She does have "smart chip technology", where as she "knows" what she is wearing and when she has borrowed one of Ella's and/or Gabriella's outfits. It is really cute when you put the Ari doll with one, or both, of the other dolls and they sing together (although it is only one song and the same song each time.) The doll is rather durable too. My daughter has dropped her several times and she is still okay. The clothes the dolls wear are very easy to take on and off, because they simply snap on. My 6 yr. old has already lost interest in Ella, she is now just a "nick-nack" on her bookshelf. However, My 3 1/2 yr. old does still "occasionally" play with Ari (and with her sister's Ella doll, if she can sneak it out of her sister's room!).

Cute& fun - girls love the music -more fun with two of them!
My 3 1/2 year old got Ari and 6-year old got Ella for Christmas and they really enjoy them. They sing in harmony together and can borrow each other's clothes and are "smart" toys remarking that like the pink dress they borrowed, etc. But, most of all, the girls love their songs they sing and the entire household (except their older brother) have been singing "Do what you want...." which Mom loves the lyrics to. We even found their web site at thinkwaytoys.com and they can play their video and games (Dad is getting tired of the song though.) They both want the third one! ... Read more
