Problem with tea pot quickly resolved by manufacturer
My daughter received the Disney Princess tea set for her 2nd birthday from her grandparents. She absolutely loved it and played with it often. Less than two months later the tea pot started to short out and the voices/sounds would not play. I went to the manufacturer's web site (Thinkway Toys - www.thinkwaytoys.com) and looked up their customer service email address. I sent an email detailing the problem and asked how to go about getting a replacement. They responded quickly and happily replaced the teapot. I received the replacement with no hassle and very quickly (within a few days!). The replacement works great!! I am very pleased with their customer service. 5 stars for customer service!

The voices started to sound garbled
We bought this for our daughter at Christmas and after about 2 weeks, the voices on the teapod sounded staticy and garbled. The problem was NOT corrected with new batteries so I have contacted Thinkway toys (the manufacturer) and am waiting to see if they will replace the tea pot. My daughter still has tea parties but is dissapointed when she can't hear the princeses talke to her. We'll see what happens.

Now it's ALWAYS tea time
We bought this tea set for our granddaughter this past Christmas. She's loved it from Day 1. We've told some other family members, who are now getting them to send to their relatives in Spain.

Best Tea Set EVER!!
My daughter got this for her 2nd birthday. I was convinced she was too young for it and would not be interested in it yet- BOY WAS I WRONG!!! She absolutely LOVES it. She is even able to change the differnt tops out herself. We do go one single day without having tea. This has majorly jumpstarted her imaginative play skills. You will not be sorry you purchased this-she plays with it for hours!!

Excellent Toy for any Princess
This product brought joy to both of my children from the minute my daughter opened it on Christmas morning to present day, My daughter and son have at least 2 tea parties a day; the voices on the tea pot are clear as a bell and when the children pour the tea it has a pouring sound that is fantastic; this product is very sturdy and I would recommend buying two one for play and one for future grandchildren (hehehehe) ... The doll is played with daily
My daughter received this doll for her 3rd birthday and has played with it in the bathtub just about every night since then. The velcro on her top is *just now* starting to show wear. In my opinion, that's not bad for a toy that has been played with in water for the last 7 months. She likes to have the fins on and then take them off so that Ariel has legs by the end of her bath so the fins are handled often...still not torn or damaged in any way.

I think the doll is as durable as I would expect. My daughter isn't necessarily gentle with the clothing as she pulls them on and off so I can't imagine why the other reviewers have damaged clothes after a short amount of time.

Beautiful Ariel doll
Wow! This doll is gorgeous! Her long flowing red hair, shimmering tail, and sparkling bikini top make this the perfect Ariel doll. This is much nicer than the one at the Disney store. Most of these reviews complain that the doll is not durable and the clothes come off, well don't give it to a little kid! I think this doll is intended more for collectors. This doll is perfect for me, because I've loved Ariel ever since I was a little girl. If you want a doll for a little one, try "Bathtime Ariel" That is a cloth doll that would be more durable.

Beautiful Ariel doll
This doll is simply beautiful. Most of these reviews say that the doll's clothes don't stay on, and the doll is not durable. Well it's perfect for me! I'm a 16 year old who loved the little mermaid while growing up. This is the best Ariel doll out there, much nicer than the one at the Disney store. That one is so awful, you can see the legs through the tail, and the top is blue! Ariel's top is NOT blue, it's purple! But enough about that, THIS doll is wonderful. If you are buying for a young one, I recommend also buying "Sparkling Ariel". That one is Ariel in her shimmery pink dress from when she has dinner with Eric. The reason I said buy that too, is that one is Ariel as a human, and this one featured here is her as a mermaid. That's easier for a little one playing so she won't have to take off the tail when she wants Ariel to be a human.

We call her "Ariel on Land"
My daughter and I went looking for this doll and my 4 year old couldn't wait for me to open it up. Before the end of the day the doll's top had fallen to pieces and the fins were falling off. (Ariel is only a Mermaid with the clothes on-- the fins are part of the outfit. She just has normal doll legs underneath). I sewed them back together twice, but within a few days of purchase, they had just dissolved. Ariel's head is also quite loosely attached to the body, and she reminds me of a "bobble head". Ariel is still among the mermaid toys my daughter plays with every day, mostly because she *is* Ariel, but it was quite disappointing to me in terms of quality. Mermaid Fanasy dolls are MUCH better, and better priced, I think. When my daughter remembers Ariel's fins and wonders what happened to them, I just remind her that Ariel went to live with her prince and that she has an "Ariel on the land" doll. Too bad she won't let me put any other clothes on her... Ariel remains naked for now.

Great doll, terrible clothes...
My daughter begged for this doll for Christmas and it is still her most played with toy, however, we have problems keeping her top to stay on and after several changes, the waist fins are separating from the rest of the tail. This can be repaired with needle and thread, but I am disappointed with the quality of her outfit. The doll itself is beautiful, much nicer than the other Ariel dolls available through Disney. She has a teen Skipper body, so if your little angel wants to dress her up, I suggest Skipper fashions. ... Read more

Great toy!
What a great toy! My son just loves this guy and just today, he pretends to be Captain and chased me around the house with his feathersword! This doll just provides so much imaginative fun and that laugh is definitely the captain's laugh. If you can get him on amazon.com, grab him. He's so popular and is going for high prices on ebay. Why they don't make more of him, I have no idea. Makes no sense to me! This is a great toy, and a great addition to the set of Wiggle dolls that we already have. However, don't bang them together - the paint on them has a tendency to rub off on one another. We have a friend with a child that has some learning disabilities who just banged them really hard together and the paint from their hair wore off onto the other one's face. I can't get it off and my son isn't too pleased about it. Other than that, these dolls are very durable.

Go Captain Go!!
I was so happy to get this doll for my son! Captain Feathersword is by far his favorite Wiggle! We have the other Wiggles dolls and they are all great but I have to say this one is the only one that actually looks just like the real thing, right down to his crooked smile! If you can get your hands on this hard to find item I would say go for it and keep on wiggling!!

Talia, Zada, Nazalia, and Ailani--don't ask if any of the Lil Bratz' names have any meaning; we don't think so. But kids only care about the meaning of "hip", which these dolls are. More apt to catch eyes than powder, they're all glamoured up in tons of accessories, makeup, tops, bottoms, shoes, jackets, and fur, fur, fur. To be honest, they look a bit like Siberian witch doctors in all that over-the-top, furry gear. But what's cool is that these four pals can borrow any of the other's ski outfits and accessories, allowing for potentially dozens of new ski looks between them, which is more fun than playing with just one of the dolls.
