Good investment
I was skeptical because of the price, but my 2 1/2 year old and all of her same age friends spend a countless amount of time in here. They read, play with toys and I sometimes put a little table and chairs in for supervised snacks. I recommend this highly if you have the indoor room to spare. Folds and reshapes nicely.

Help!!!!!!!
My kids love this playhut. Not only do they use it to play "house," but we also take it camping with us. It has been very durable......but I CAN'T GET IT TO FOLD DOWN. I have tried the directions listed on this site, I have surfed all over the web(...). I still cannot get this thing to twist into 3 circles. I would say that this was still worth the money, and I would buy it again even if it doesn't fold down. (...)

Instructions on how to fold
This thing is the greatest. I bought this for my 18 month old girl. She absoultly loves it. Like everyone else said, it is quite large ~10' X ~5'. Although we have not used it outside yet, we will be. As for as folding it I wont lie, it took me almost 30 minutes to figure it out. Here's how I did it:

--Stand at the top of the house.
--Grab the Bottom of the house, one hand near (not at) each corner.
--Fold it down until shape resembles a "C".
--Continue until the top and the bottom almost touch each other.
--Now here the tricky part, slide your hands toward the middle and move the bottom metal rod inward toward the middle of the house.
--The sides will start to fold up and to the center.
--Once the the middle rod is in the center of the house.
--Grab the sides and fold them down one on top of the other.

Not for those with LOW IQ
Don't get me wrong. This place is huge... not for a small home. You need to have an entire room to dedicate this too. I actually bought it for my small yorkshire terrier dog to play in outside. But this is the kicker.... if you were one of those kids that bought a RUBIX CUBE, twisted it once and never got all the colors to match up again. Then this is EXACTLY like that. Pick something else. I am actually trying to return it right now, because it was just too big for us. However...I've been trying to twist and fold it back in the bag for 3 days now. After 30 minutes of trying ...I keep giving up. If I have to cut it in half to get in back in there I will. Basically my point is.... ONCE you set it up. Don't expect to ever take it down. It is fun though. Bigger than I ever imagined.

Great Fun
Our granddaughter loves this little house. We love it because you can put it away after she leaves. Biggest problem is that you can't get it back in the bag the same way it came out. I consider myself pretty intelligent but trying to fold this thing up is worse than a really bad day at work. But with all the hassle of folding it up I would still buy it again. ... Read more

The parachute gambit is a teacher's secret weapon--a tried-and-true way to annihilate the afternoon blahs. At approximately 9 feet in diameter, with handles all the way around for little (or big) hands to grab, this sunny Playchute Parachute is just smaller than the classroom standard. Fling it into the air and watch it drift down. Run underneath it and watch the colors rain down. Throw a few stuffed animals in the center and bounce them around. Simple, satisfying thrills, and worth every penny. --Claire Dederer ... Read more

Play Can Be Educational
I bought this parachute to take to Ecuador, South America with me to use in the Elementary school. I found it to be a huge help witht the language barrier and the children had a blast. I left it at the school when I came back to the states and I plan on purchasing another one for my own classroom. This is such a great investment!

Dimensions
I bought this parachute despite not being sure of it's dimensions. The description did state it is about 9 feet but others I had found on-line (10 or 12 feet) seemed much more expensive so I expected something smaller. Anyway, I just received it today and I am quite excited. The parachute is actually 10 feet in diameter and has 12 handles. So it is much larger than I had originally expected. This is a great deal and I can't wait for my kids to wake up from their naps so we can play!

Great Value
I bought this as a party game for my daughter's 4th birthday. The nice thing was that she got to use it over & over again after the party. The kids loved it!!!! Her 2 year old sister asks to play with it all the time. We drap it over the table and they play under it and they even love just sitting on it outside. It was played with all summer long and now that winter is here it's coming back inside. It was well worth the price. I was actually suprised how durable and large it was. One of the best toys I've bought!!

A Blast from My Past
I remember playing with the large parachute when I was in grade school in PE. The entire class had such a good time!

I purchased this for my 5 year old godson and his 3 year old sister for Christmas. Now, it's not as much fun with just the two of them, but when the neighbor kids come over, their mom brings it out. That's when the fun begins. It's amazing how long a piece of material can keep a group of kids entertained!

Caleb loves it
My son (3 yo) has had this for about 8 months now and still loves it. Whenever his friends come over to play, they all inevitably end up inside the toy and take other toys in to play with. It is fairly durable and has been fought over and pulled from room to room many times. If your child loves Thomas, this is a good (if fairly large) toy to have.

Kids LOVE it!
I have not had the bad experience as the customers below. My son got it a year ago when he turned 3 and my daughter was 1 and they both love it. So does the kids that come over to play. Now a year later and they still love it, also it's still in great shape. I am now getting it for a friends son. I find that it's easy to fold up, although the kids don't leave it like that very long.

This tent is AWESOME!!!
My husband and I ordered this for my daughter's 2nd birthday. Let's just say she doesn't come out of it much. She Loves It!!! It is so cute and worth every penny. She has gotten so many hours of enjoyment out of it. She likes to take her books and her Thomas trains in there as well. If your child loves Thomas, they will love the tent.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED
I bought this for my 14-month old because he likes to crawl under tables, chairs, etc. I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened it - what a piece of GARBAGE!!! It is made of some paper-like product (like a Bounty paper towel) and it smells horrible. My son had ink all over his fingers after playing in it for just a few minutes. I am definitely returning this item. How annoying that the material of this product is nowhere to be found on the box or in the online description.

Grandmother's perfect present
My granddaughter, 22 months, loves to crawl into small spaces such as cupboards, under chairs etc. Sometimes she is hard to find. With this perfect option she loves the crawling in the tunnel and making her own house in the tent. My daughter is expecting multiples (don't know yet how many) and she needs to have her daughter occupied in a safe place. Another great thing is how portable as when they come visiting they can bring her house with her. I read the one commentary about the 100 balls, gads! We'll try that if this doesn't work as she gets older.

One and a half years and still going strong
Santa brought this tent and tunnel for my son in 2003, and it was an immediate hit. He is now 3 years old, and still enjoys playing with it.

Last week, he took it to a fun day at school, where three classes of active kids gave it a try out. It stood up admirably, and went back into its storage bag proud and intact. It took a huge amount of abuse and shrugged it off. I was deeply impressed, because I never expected it to last this long. Several teachers and parents asked me where I got it from, so I guess they were also impressed.

It stores easily in the handy bag, and the tunnel when strapped up takes up little space. It's light, portable, affordable and fun.

One of the best toys I have ever purchased on Santa's behalf.

fun tent
I bought this tent for my son when he was about 1 1/2 years old. He is now almost 3 and still has a blast in it. We bought a 100 balls to go in it and he loves to throw them down the tunnel. It takes minutes to set up and the rods are pretty strong. My son can even put the rods together without hurting them or himself. It has a bigger opening so a parent can get in it too (although it is a tight fit.) I have a 5 month old that loves to watch his brother pop in and out of it. I would imagine the real test of strength will come when both boys are playing in it, but I have no doubt that it will hold up. I would definitely recommend this to other parents. We are happy with it.

Alot of fun for a bargain price!
This little tent is great for young kids. My son loves to crawl thru the tunnel then stand in the tent and look ouy the screen at the top of the tent. It semms to be made well (for inside the house). I don't think you can find a better tent with a tunnel for the price than this one!

It's a three-alarm blaze of fun for youngsters with PlayHut'sTwist 'N' Fold Fire Engine, another in their imaginative series ofquick-to-assemble, spring-loaded, collapsible nylon meshconfigurations. Here, a bright red, 49-by-24-inch, stylized rectangularfire truck replica, almost 3 feet tall, forms itself from the apparatuswhich, fully folded, fits into a bag no larger than a grocery sack. Theonly assembly required is to attach the nylon rear door (complete witha replica of a fire ax) and the inflatable steering wheel to the Velcrotoggles on the main structure. Unfortunately, the included printedmatter barely mentions these two extra pieces, leaving assemblersguessing as to how to attach them. The steering wheel is a no-brainer,but the back door panel possesses one toggle and there are fourpossible loops for it. Parents might also be annoyed by the fact thatthe foldaway instructions are twice as lengthy as those forsetup. --Tony Mason ... Read more

Editorial Review

Long before children are old enough to ride a yellow school bus, they long to be a passenger in this intriguing vehicle. Toddlers and preschoolers will especially appreciate this nylon, pop-up bus that measures a whopping 50 inches tall, 36 inches long, and 25 inches wide and is shaped just like a real bus. Once the freestanding bus is set up (it literally pops out of a sack and snaps into shape), children can set up chairs and walk about inside, dreaming up all kinds of imaginative school stories and bus-driver dramas. The yellow and black bus comes with a built-in crawl-through divider between front and back. Park a chair in the driver's seat and children can turn the built-in steering wheel. Folding takes patience and practice, but it will all fit--amazingly--into a small storage sack.--Gail Hudson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Product- Endless Fun and compacts easily for storage
My daughter (2 1/2) and her friends love playing in this bus- they spend endless hours being the bus driver and driving the kids to school. Also, when they're done, it folds up and slides under the couch for easy storage. Great Product!

Great Bus!!
My daughter received this as a gift for her second birthday. She and her friends cannot get enough of the bus! She loves to have tea parties in the bus. I love the fact that if folds up and can be put away at the end of the day.

Come on everybody! Get on the short bus!
This is great outdoor/indoor playhouse for kids. All of my best experiences happened on the schoolbus as a kid. My children love playing in their bus at home as much as at school. At home they get to drive as well! Good for me, they still have 10 years to go for real!

The kids love it
I bought this for my daughters daycare class...I have never seen such an excited bunch of preschoolers! :) They really love playing in this and they pretend that they are going many different places. It's very cute to watch them play in this. Their teachers said it folds and unfolds very easily, making it great for the adults too!

Collapsible play tents have been increasingly popular in recent years, satisfying that seemingly instinctive "fort" craving that kids have while still being both lightweight and portable. This Spiderman themed tent features four sides, a split flap door, and, naturally, a vibrant red and blue Spiderman theme. Though Spiderman is always cool, there isn't anything really especially "Spiderman-esque" about this toy unless one imagines that the webbed crusader lurks in an easily collapsed indoor playroom tent when he's not slinging from building to building catching bad guys. And, come to think of it, that's a perfect game of pretend play for youngsters to enjoy while employing the tent. Radioactive spiders not included. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My kids loved this one, but...
My husband just came home with this. I put it together myself and it was quite easy, the hard part was taming the kids while I did it. MY 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old love this. They love to crawl through the hole and my daughter insist on keeping the "curtains" open. They find it funny that mommy gets stuck in the hole. My son (1 1/2), we call him the destroyer, loves to jump on the tent. This is not reccomended because after only a few days, one of the prongs kind of bent and now the tent looks a bit lopsided. I also noticed that the prongs quickly went through two of the feet on the bottom. I was able to fix it with a couple of stitches. A great item for 3 yrs and up but not quite suitable for destructive 1 1/2 yr olds.

Fun for everyone
Our kids were constantly asking us to "make us a tent!". After years of draping fitted sheets across stools (only to have them fall down every ten seconds), my husband and I decided to get them an inexpensive proper tent. What a great purchase! This tent is so easy to set up and take down, and it doesn't take up that much room. Our kids will play together in the tent for hours, and they love the idea of having an indoor "campout" sleepover with their friends.

Padded bottom?
Its a good tent for the little ones. Indoors or out. My grandchildren love it. However one of the main reasons I was sold on this tent was that in the description from Toy R Us and Amazon says its padded. The bottom is only a piece of tarp, not padded. Kinda misleading. But the kids do love it and it is a great toy for the price. I would recommend it for anyone with little ones who love to crawl, play hide -n- seek, and 'hide' from adults. Like I said, a bit disappointed the bottoms not padded but I am very glad I bought it.

Great Buy
I bought this tent for my grandaughter's 8th birthday and she and her 4 yr. old brother have had great fun "pretending" in it, even sleeping in it in the living room one night. It is a great price for a durable, good-sized, good looking play item. I am very satisfied.

Fun but a flawed design
This tent is very fun. My 20 month-old son has loved playing in it since he first began to crawl. However, the way the poles anchor into the tent to hold it up is flawed. The pockets at the base that the poles fit into aren't strong enough and all four of them have developed holes. It takes some parental magic to keep the tent up. We'll be looking for a new tent with a better design next time. ... Read more

Great fun
My daughter got this for 2. birtsday and she has always great fun using it together with the crawl n play house. We use it in the living room or outside and always its stored or changed in a matter of seconds. If she is playing with friends they are even sitting on it and falling over it, its so flexible that it doesn't hurt. Playing with friends she has big action going through the tunnel with them.

Durable and Adorable!
Like the first reviewer, I bought this tunnel for my dog. We are building an agility course for her. When I opened the package, the tunnel was bundled up with its stor-away ties, and when I untied the straps it just popped into place! That easy! I was suprised at how durable the material was and the metal wire that give it shape. I think this will last a long time. One thing I will warn, it was a little smaller than I thought it would be. Read the dimensions carefully, and make sure your child OR dog isnt too big for it! If my dog were two more inches high she wouldnt fit...and she is a 50lb australian shepherd. However, it is great for her!! I'm sure kids would love this too. Maybe I'll still have this when I finally have kids of my own!

Great toy for Children and Dogs
I got this tunnel for my dog and she just loves it. I use it for practicing agility. But, she is also having fun running through the tunnel while play ball. If it's durable for a dog, then it would be great for children. I give it a A++++ all the way. ... Read more

You may find yourself feeling jealous that you didn't have one of these when you were little! From Pacific Play Tents, it's the extended-length Find Me Giant Tunnel. Oh sure, it might not be a castle in the strictest, most literal sense but with a little imagination, this fun and simple tent will provide the basis for all sorts of magical adventures. Three of Disney''s most enduringly popular princess characters, Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty, are depicted on three of the four sides while the fourth provides a simple flapped doorway. The bright purple tent practically sets itself up as you take it out of the box and we had very little difficulty collapsing it again using the included directions. While this tent is not suited for camping, it would be perfectly suited for backyards and play rooms. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

Great play tent!!
I got this for my daughter after a relative bought her a castle tent that took up her WHOLE room and was made of PVP piping poles that locked together. Major pain to set up and take down. I liked this becuase it smaller, yet big enough for her and my 4 yr old son to play in. My 3 year old daughter seems very happy with its size. It folds up flat making storage super easy it can be slid under a bed or in a closet. I don't re-fold it down to its small round size because I found it unneccesary. This is a great toy for the money and very durable. It also comes with a connector tunnel that can be used with any other Play Hut tent.

Pacific makes all sorts of fun tents and tunnels for kids. Play Tent components work as individual pieces and are compatible. For example, the See-Me Connecting Tunnel can be connected to the Find-Me Play Tent (sold separately). The See-Me Connecting Tunnel is good for smaller kids because it's more translucent than some of the other Play Tent pieces and it features two nylon mesh windows. Never dark or scary, and always lots of fun, it's 6 feet long, 19 inches in diameter, and made with sturdy 70 denier nylon. It's hard to believe
I didn't think that kids would actually like this. It seemed like such a stupid toy.

Yet I took my kids to playgroup and a group of 10 3 and 4 year olds spent over and hour crawling through it. (I think they were playing rescue mission or something). Then they kept asking for it every day after that! Go figure.

A MUST HAVE toddler toy!
My daughter is 1yrs old and this is her absolutely favorite toy! She spends endless hours day in and day out in it. Her 7yr old Aunt plays with her in it everytime she comes over too. It folds up and expands with in seconds. It really is a MUST HAVE toy for any toddler!! We are even buying a second tunnel to attach them together for her 2nd birthday. My advice: "Just buy it"!

The BEST !
My kids ages 2 1/2 and 18 months LOVE this tunnel. We got it for the kids for Christmas and keep it put away and bring it out about 3X a week in the evenings when we have had a slow day and the kids didn't get any energy out. They go CRAZY, they play and run and scream and crack up! My husband drags them through the house super fast and they sit in it and laugh their butts off. You can play peek a boo, or roll balls through it, the possibilities are endless!

It's by far the BEST gift. The kids don't fight over it, no one gets hurt, it doesn't break, it's SO cool ! It folds in no time and folds so small, it doesn't take up any room. BUY THIS!!!

9 year old and 10 month old can play together!
My 9 year old daughter and my 10 month old son had a ball with this. They laughed giggled and played for hours. It was nice to see them both enjoy the same activity together.

5-0 out of 5 stars wonderful toy
This is a terrific toy for children of all ages. My daughter is one year old and she absolutely loves it. We play peek-a-boo, hide-and-go-seek, and an endless amout of other games. We bring it every where we go, to friends and family's home where she doesn't have toys to play with. It's easy to fold up, it folds up so it takes a minimal amount of room. Where every we take it, it's a hit. Everyone asks how we got the idea to buy this, how much it costs, and where we purchased it. Every child should have one! Even hour 60 pound siberian husky goes through it to play with our daughter. We've had about 6 months now and we still use it a lot. My daughter's 3 year old cousin also enjoys it as much as she. ... Editorial Review

Like a secret hideaway, this indoor-outdoor tent can be your child's year-round adventure base and personal sanctuary. Children can sleep, hide, play, entertain guests, and even snack in this flame-retardant nylon dome tent. (It's washable and easy to sweep.) Standing at 43 inches high with a 51-by-51-inch floor, this colorful tent will be most comfortable for children ages 3 to 7. It has two windows with roll-up flaps (for good ventilation) and a zip-shut door (offering that oh-so-valuable privacy).

For adults who've assembled a dome tent before, the process should be a snap (it can be done solo or with a partner). Newcomers will find that the first assembly takes a few minutes longer, but can be done within five minutes after that. Comes with storage sack. A six-foot-long entry tunnel can be purchased separately. --Gail Hudson ... Read more

Fun but be prepared to replace the poles
I got this for my 5 years old daughter. She likes it very much. She and her friends like to get in and out, and sometimes they knock it over. It's easy to just pick it up, and it returns to its original shape (that's the good part of the design). However, one of the poles broke in 2 weeks, because a kid just happened to land on top of it during playing. The poles could not withstand any pressure. We called Pacific Play Tent and bought more poles. It has been holding up fine since then. So, it's not really durable, but it can be fixed.

This tent is very difficult to assemble and disassemble. It broke after only one week of use. I highly discourage people from purchasing this.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun for Kids but not for Parents
We got this play tent as a gift. It was so hard to put this tent up. I couldn't do it by myself. I had to wait for my Husband and we still had problems. The poles that hold up the tent are so long that they are so hard to get into the tent corners- that is what holds the tent up. The kids did love the tent after we got it up though. They played for hours in it. The first time we took it down- one of poles snapped in half. So, now we are returning it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect Gift for Grandchildren 1thru 10
We purchased this tent for our two grandchildren ages 1-1/2 and 3-1/2 two months ago. We were worried it would take up too much space in our daughter's living room -- it did. However, todate, the tent has never been taken down. It is constantly used by our grandchildren, their friends and neighbors ages one thru ten, and is still standing. The tent was easy to put up, though I needed my daughter's help, but it only took 5-10 minutes to erect. It is safe - no sharp points and it is loved by our grandchildren.

In fact, we are ordering another one - this time with a tunnel for when the grandchildren visit us. ... Read more
