Where's the extra large grown up version?
Santa placed this great gift under the tree for my very active 7 1/2 y/o son. He received the black model, which appears to be identical to the purple other than the color of the platform. He's been practically bouncing off the walls ever since he opened them. In reality he gets between 6" to about 2 feet off the ground depending on how hard he jumps.

The base is very heavy duty, and looks very similar to an automatic lawn sprinkler valve box. There is a foot platform suspended in the middle of the base by way of heavy rubber or polyurethane bands. The bands run through slots in the platform and attach at either side of the base by hooking over some plastic teeth surrounding the outisde of the base. There are 12 points of attachment for each foot platform.

Some assembly is required, the most difficult thing is stretching the bands. Santa's elves pre-assembled my son's so they'd be ready to go as soon as he got them. I think he could have put it together himself in about 5 minutes.

The set comes with a 1lb bag of bands that are used in increments up to 5 per platform slot to accommodate the 60 - 160 + lb weight rating of the user. The 1lb bag of bands had 50 total bands. The weight chart on the instruction sheet lists up to 5 per slot, which would equate to 60 bands, so I'm guessing there must be replacement/upgrade bands available.

1 band per slot = 60 lbs or less
2 bands per slot = 60 - 100 lbs
3 bands per slot = 100 - 130 lbs
4 bands per slot = 130 - 160 lbs
5 bands per slot = 160 + lbs

I think the real limit with the design is the size of the user's foot. I have a size 14, and weigh 200lbs so I can't try it out. :-( It looks like a lot of fun, and my son has been having a blast with it.

It's a pretty simple toy, but my son loves it. Some times simple things are better. In fact he's been using it more than the Playstation 2 games he wished so much for.

Might as well JUMP!
Don't let the picture fool you, these shoes DO NOT make you jump as high as the moon. In fact, even the most highly-trained athlete wearing these shoes would only be able to jump as high as the clouds.

THE INCREDIBLE "MOON SHOES!"
This is an excellent toy! It teaches chilren how it feels to be able to walk on the moon. But at the same time, it is as fun as having a 25 scoops of peanut-butter ice-cream!

P.S.~ This toy is even at the flight museum in Seattle. Aand oh yeah, I am 10. I don't know if that really means anything if I am 10 though, but it might! And thanks for making this fabulause toy!

Umm..I can barely jump on this thing
Well, first of all..I'm 13 so I guess I'm probably out of the weight range for these things now..but nonetheless, I still think these dont work very well. For little kids, these shoes help with balancing skills..and I have to admit they're pretty awesome on a trampoline (i did almost sprain my ankle tho). On the ground, though, they're just loud, heavy, shoes that clonk around. I wouldn't really recommend buying these though. They're kind of pointless and will probably end up under a pile of junk in your garage.

Awsome Pogo!!!
This stick is the the greatest thing ever! My friend just got it a few days ago in just the first few jumps he was already getting over a foot of air! it was was crazy even he was amazed. Even I who had never really done it before learned pretty fast on this stick. Plus the foam is awsome it feels really good on your hands and legs unlike other pogo sticks. but the foam at the bottom of the stick did tear a little but that doesn't really matter, oh and as for the tip it seems like whenever I see my friend hes bouncing on this pogostick and the tip hasn't worn very much at all.
I very highly recomend this pogostick for beginers or pros alike and its a very good price too. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAwsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GREAT OUTDOOR TOY
Our new foam covered Master Pogo has stood up to punishing abuse by my children and thier friends. Contrary to other reviews, our rubber tip shows little sign of wear and will probably last for several more months. Our Pogos rubber tip does look different than our old Master Pogos, so I guess it was redesigned and is much improved.

According to my kids, the black and yellow foam covering makes the pogo very comfortable to ride because it doesn't hurt thie inside of their legs.

Safety is of course a major concern. I make sure everyone using the pogo wears a helmet. All and all this has proven to be a very durable toy, one that my kids will undoubtedly enjoy for many yeart to come. I hightly recommend it.

Great Fun, but pros only
I think this pogo stick is great fun. Althogh there were some bad reviews, i still bought this item. I found it pretty good, I'm a good pogo-er, i even hold a record of 3024 jumps in my town.therefore i am qualified to use any pogo sick, and im considered to bee a pro. I just reccomend that you buy a replacement tip with it, and you need some pogo experience.

WARNING! UNSAFE FOR CHILDREN!
This toy may be a lot of fun to play with but it is also dangerous - the rubber tip on the end of the pogo stick wears off very quickly. I have noticed that I am not the only reviewer on here that has had this problem.
I gave this pogo stick to my 9 year old stepdaughter for her birthday and within a week the rubber tip wore off and she ended up falling off the stick, onto the ground, and hit her head pretty hard.
Until the company improves this item, I HIGHLY recommend that you do not buy this no matter how much fun it may be. It's not worth getting hurt over.

Great stick
This is a great pogo for anyone who wants to jump really high. It gets tons of air. In general it's just a great stick plus the custormer service is really good so I would reccomend this to 10-11 year olds and teenagers who are below the weight limit. jakes favorite toy
My son, Jake, received the pogo stick as a gift when he was five. It has become his prized toy above his scotter, bike, blades, etc. He is now almost eight and I thought would want a "better" version, but his pogo stick is irreplaceable: It is very durable and lightweight (we've taken it on many vacations) It is easy to manuever(he can jump over and around anything and for close to an hour with few stops). The other pogo stick is being returned and we're buying another of this version.

Some of the best money I have ever spent!!!
My daughter received this for Christmas when she was six. She had never been on one before, so it took her a while to work on her balance and stay up on it. One jump became three, three jumps became ten, ten jumps became twenty five, and so on. With continued practice, her current record is over six hundred jumps without stopping. (Yes ---- she was exhausted afterward, but oh so proud of herself!!) This has been a wonderful toy, and well worth the $20 spent. Her balance has been incredible, and it's really quite a workout. She has had such fun competing against her old record jumps.

It is well-constructed over-all, but be sure to watch the rubber tip on the bottom if your child is a jumper like mine. She literally wore through the rubber tip without my realizing it, and the metal end of the stick had nothing to grip, once sending her flying onto the garage floor and hitting her head. Besides a goose egg she was OK, but she now wears her bike helmet to jump. (When I called the company they promptly sent me replacement tips at no charge.)

We have been very happy with this toy and are now purchasing the heavier Master Pogo since she's at the top of the weight range for this one.

Great update of a traditional toy!
My daughter received this pogo stick as a gift when she was five. At age six, she is still getting the hang of it, but she and her friends in the neighborhood have had a lot of fun with it. The foam cover is durable and prevents rust and dents which could render the toy unsafe. Also, the spring is covered, so there is no easy opportunity for injury to the child or damage to the spring. This is quieter and safer than the pogo stick I grew up with in the 80's!

My Sweet Pogo Stick
This is my first Pogo stick. It really helps you with other games for balance and especially with swings. I am only 7 years old and have it only two days so it is still hard for me, but I am practicing. Also this product is very nice colors and it feels nice to hold. I even got hit once and it didn't hurt because of the padding. I really like it

great fun
For [the money] I didn't think these stilts would be anything great. My daughter begged for stilts for her 9th birthday, and these were the cheapest pair we could find. I was surprised at how durable they are and how easy it is to adjust the foot rests. It was easy for her to learn how to use these, and she had them up as high as possible after a week of using them.

So Many Nephews to buy for!
I purchased three sets of these stilts for three of my nephews. They were quite the hit and even the parents were excited about the boys getting them.

Want to have some fun, bring back some memories, and wish you were a kid again... get these stilts!

Stilts are fun!!!
I bought these stilts for my 10 year old daughter. My other children who are 8 and 9 love them and so do all of their friends. They are affordable and sturdy!! I recommend them !!!!

A Short Girls Dream come true.
This was bought for my little sister on her 12th Birthday, she loves it, she walks around the house, and down the street on these stilts, there is a wingnut screw that keeps the stilts and the poles connected and she's attempted to raise the foot platforms up that high but then it's impossible to use the poles unless you have long arms.

They only hold up to 150 lbs but they are sturdy and easy to learn. Finally a toy that inspires kids to become circus workers or carny folk. ... Read more

Favorite year-round toy
Like most kids today, our two have more toys than they know what to do with, and they hardly ever play with most of them. The Fun Hop is one of the few exceptions--my children play with it daily (my daughter is 5 and my son is 3). They hop all over the house, and even use it to clean up (hey, it's more fun to "hop" stuff back to your room than to just carry it there!). Our only problem is that we only have one hopper, and they usually both want to hop on it. They are pretty good about sharing, but we will be buying a second one soon. The hopper is made of thick rubber and is very durable. In almost 2 years we've never had to add more air to it, so it is maintenance-free. There are no parts to lose, either, and the kids get a LOT of exercise playing with it. What a perfect toy! Get one for every kid in your house.

fun hop rox my world
well, when i was a kid, which wasn't too long ago, this thing took over. i loved it soooo much, that i've been looking for it ever since i first got to use one. now that i've found it, you bet i'm buying a few...if your kid (or adult, as in my case, ha...) likes more physical platy, this is the thing to get. my goodness...i looove them. later dayz, kiddzoz.

This was a PERFECT Xmas gift
I bought 13 of these from Amazon for my little family members as xmas gifts. What a great idea! They were all having a great time bouncing around. The grown-ups wanted larger versions so they could play. I don't know how to top these gifts for next year!

A winner in our home
We bought two of these because the first one was such a good toy. It is played with daily. The kids hop everywhere - down the hall, in the kitchen, around the yard...

I look for toys that are fun, educational, and fairly quiet. I want toys that are easy to play with and have more than a button you push to make something happen. I want toys that encourage exploration of the world.

This toy meets those requirements. I would say it is very educational in that it encourages large motor skills, balancing, eye and hand coordination etc. It is also educational in that it encourages imagination- hey, I'm a Kangaroo mommy! This is very fun and they only noise it makes really is the noise the kids make while playing on the hopper.

It is well worth every penny.

PURE FUN
These balls can hold lots of weight. I own one myself and it can withstand at least 300 pounds blown up. My dog has played with it and it has sharp teeth and it didn't even pop yet. This ball is the best and biggest I have ever found.

You've got to get it!!!
This ball is a load of fun! I have had my for 3 years and it's still durable. All my friends love to play on it. It's not only a toy, it can be used for exercise, too! So if anyone is looking for a toy to buy for someone or themselves, just try it!

Funnest Time You'll Ever have with a Ball
This ball will keep you occupied for hours. Use it to role around or to bounce up on down. It can be taken into pools or brought into a trampoline( my personal favorite). Moms may not like it much but bouncing on this ball ecspecially in the trampoline is some of the best fun you'll ever have. I highly recommend you get one of these Big Balls.

Great Toy for Ages 3-??
This toy stayed in our Michigan backyard YEAR ROUND for 3 years
and finally popped after SERIOUS abuse. As one reviewer mentioned, I never got it to 50", but at about 40 or so, all kids (3-12 so far) had a blast with it. You push it, play "soccer", steam-roll the kids, throw it, try and sit on it, I've even used it to stretch. I kept it on the grass and think it popped from hitting a chain link fence, fyi. I just bought several as christmas presents. Have fun!

Lasted only a month!
