4-0 out of 5 stars Good starter for power ranger loving young ones
My son is 3 years old and a power ranger lover... this was perfect as it had an assortment of the rangers, a zord and villians. He loves it.The parts are very durable for a young child, there are a few pieces that could create a choking hazard but the larger pieces are perfect.

4-0 out of 5 stars not if you want it big
if you want the whole set and it all cheaper this is the toy for you but it isnt as big though some of the parts dont move ... Read more

JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
I was looking for a action figure set of the whole Simpsons Family: Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. Now, here are the pros and cons.

Pros:
Contain of whole Simpsons Family
Cheap Price(Bought here)
Fun

Cons:
Living Room NOT compatible with other characters.

What's up you toy nerds?
The concept of collecting toys when you can afford a credit card is absurd, that is why I am a toy NERD. This particular flashback set has been out for a while,I'm glad it's cheaper in price cause it's getting ridiculous especially with the independent toy stores. So my review is this: it's good. I saw the picture and I know what I was getting. The delivery was quite efficient and speedy Gonzales. Last I'd like to add that I DO OPEN my toys, cause you only become obsessed with mint condition and never enjoy the essence of the collectables. Get a life me.

Most creative environment yet!
Unlike the 3 negative reviews above for this set I am totally HAPPY with mine. It arrived in absolutely MINT condition. there is not a crack/tear/rip/dent or messed up paint job anywhere on the set.
I still can't believe Playmates made this set. ...If you collect Simpsons WOS figures, then you need to get this NOW! before it's gone! ...

DISAPPOINTMENT...
Because this set was intended for collectors I thought no detail would be spared. Boy was I wrong. The box shows a picture on the front that shows what the Simpsons looked like back on the Tracy Ullman Show. The figures in this box look nothing like that picture. They look cheesy and cheap. Why oh why couldn't they have cleaned up the detail on these figures. Would it have been that hard to make the figures with the correct outfits? This set could have been such a gem, instead were left with a set destined for the bargain basement. Speaking of such, notice that the price of the set has been cut in half and still has not sold out. Even though it was this cheap price during Christmas. Hmmmmmmm....

OK For The Price
This Simpsons Flashback Playset would be better if the little figurines looked more like the actual Simpson family. They aren't really to play with, more for collectors or big fans of the show (like me). The paint job wasn't exactly perfect, but I didn't really mind. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Tires!Full tires and wheels!
Not much more to add to the previous review except what a collector wants to know.I don't invest in much Mattel and Hasbro has to offer in the line of vehicles. This is because for some reason, both have a tendency to mold the tires of their vehicles on the "show" side only.Which means that they mold half a tire only, out of plastic with the other inside half open and hollow. This looks and is cheap.

Well, this Batmobile has soft rubber (or vinyl) pneumatic tires on full rims.Traction is great and the look and feel are excellent. This is a heavy vehicle as a result. This feature was the selling point for me.Well done Mattel, well done indeed.

5-0 out of 5 stars BEST BATMOBILE EVER!!!
For those of you who are eagerly anticipating the new Batman movie, Batman Begins, then you obviously know about the very cool action figures and toys that Mattel has produced for the movie. yesterday was april 2nd, and i eagerly went to my 'toys R us' to see what Bat-goodies they had. Out of all the lines of toys that i saw, the only ones that were particularly apealing to me were the "Battle-Gear Batman" action figure, the 12"
Deluxe "Action-Cape" Batman, and, of course, the Batmobile itself. I have read sooo much about this toy (not to mention the care itself) and have wanted this ever since i saw it. So, I picked up the only 2 items I could get, the battle gear batman (the BEST BB action figure ive seen) and the Batmobile. When i got home, i tore open these items, and boy was i surprised. They were both STUNNING, but ill tell you about the Batmbile for now (duh, lol). first off, its an AMAZING looking piece of machinary (in the film AND the toy), and the sculpt on it compared to the movie is TOP NOTCH. It has very coool sounds that can be activated by the push of little red buttons on the roof of the car. the button on the left makes a loud "roaring down the street" sound that is LOUD for a toy, lol, which is a good thing, and at the same time the sound happens, the booster in the back of vehicle lights up ornange like its on fire (like the burtonmobile but MUCH bigger and cooler). the button on the right makes a "laser" shooting sound, which is strange cuz i dont think the batmobile has lasers on it, but i could be wrong, but its probably just a toy gimmick thats not in the movie to make it look cooler, im not sure, i just pretend its a machine gun, lol. at the same time the noise occurs, 2 little red lights in the front of the car light up red. the middle button, the BEST button, lol, is the most part of this toy. when you press it, 2 side missle firing launchers pop out with a bang, and then you push the red button on the missle launchers to fire the little red missles inside them. right when they pop out, you hear a "vroom" kinda sound, giving the impression that the launchers are "unloading". the same sound occurs when you push the launchers back in. also, at the same time this happens with the missle launchers, 2 different lights light up green in the front of the car that basically act as headlights. a switch on the bottom of the car turns the sounds off,on, or have the head lights stay on longer. the color of the batmbile is NOT a perfect Black color, but a dark dark purple, or a black-to fade-purple hue kinda color. you ussually notice the purple more when you have the outside lights hit it, butmost of the time its looks dark, almost black. the color is almost a perfect 10, but falls a bit short cuz of the "purple hue" when in sunlight, but it does not at all take away from the toys awsomeness and look at all. there are skid marks in some places to give it the "battle worn" look, that add to it greatly. the cockpit of the car is defiantly not like other batmbile's in general. its more like a aircraft cockpit then a drivers seat, wich i think is a awsome change, and its a very big surprise to see how detailed it is inside there. theres little computer towers and things, peerfect to house a batman figure in. This is by far the absolute best and fun batmobile of all the movie versions available, for kids AND adults. im 18, and i love batman, but have seen many many lame batman toys out there, but this batmobile makes up for that 10 fold. the action cape batman, battle gear batman, and the batmbile are the only worthwhile BB toys ive seen so far, but the batmobile is easily the best Batmbile EVER MADE!! dont hesitate to purchase this bad boy, its sooo worth it!!! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The Ultimate Ravage
This figure is just beautiful in both modes. Some people don't like Ravage being a robot (basically like any other Transformer) with a Beast head. It can look kinda weird if you focus on that. I just love this mold. Tracks and Battle Ravage (who is molded from Tracks). Both have beautiful forms in both robot mode and car mode. Great details, armed to the teeth and dynamic color scheme.

His Decepticon symbol is one of the bigger, bolder symbols in this line. As far as the Decepticon Alternators I own I consider him the best looking all-around. I might move him down a notch when I recieve my Alternator Shockblast (which Amazon now has so go buy it while you can!)

What would have been really cool is if they had a way for Battle Ravage to store his original cassette mode. In the Alternators storyline (well Binaltech which is basically the same thing) Battle Ravage is capable of storing his cassette mode.

Unlike Silverstreak, Smokescreen & Grimlock, Battle Ravage is among the new line of Alternators that look good even in plastic. If you want the best and metallic I'd recommend the Binal Tech line. They are in the $40-50 range. Personally, I never shelled this much out and don't have one of the figures because the Alternators are satisfying and cheap enough for me.

Overall, this is a great figure. I highly recommend buying him.

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't let this "Kitty" go Away
The Alternators line is truly one of a kind, none other come as detailed, and Lives up to the motto "Robots in Disguise" than this one (maybe the early Generation One figures), Autobot Tracks was the hardest one to find, I never got him, but we finally have his "decepti-clone" to add to the collection, I bought this one mostly to complete the "void" that Tracks never filled in my collection, I wasn't dissapointed at all, the black 'Vette really looks nice in both modes, he is a little hard to Transform, mostly the legs will give you trouble, but totally worth it, with the current troubles with alternators distribution(Check the Transformers discussion forums), I consider it awesome that they are back on Amazon, so don't let this opportunity go (I also recommend Grimlock, Windcharger and Swindle)and get Ravage for yourself.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Jaguar becomes a Corvette. Decepticons Forever!
Battle Ravage is a repaint/redeco of the earlier released Tracks. Ravage differs from Tracks' coupe vehicle mode with him being the 2004 Chevy Corvette Z06 convertible. He has new wheels and a sleek black paint job that reminds us of the panther he once was.

One of the fun things about this new release is that collectors of the Beast wars line can use him as "Covert Agent" Ravage in that line as well.

Transformation wise, this one is going to be a challenge. Tracks/Ravage is one of the harder figures to change into a robot. It took me a good twenty minutes to get Tracks/Ravage transformed to robot mode and several weeks to figure out how to change him back. It's tricky getting those legs underneath the windshield and those arms back into position. But once you memorize where things go it should be no problem. The engine becomes the gun on this vehicle.

Ravage/Tracks sports an amazing amount of articulation. Ball jointed neck, shoulders, shoulder pivot, ball jointed elbows, bicep, mid bicep, wrists, trigger finger other, three fingers, semi ball hips double knees (hindered due to car kibble,) and ankles Ravage even has an articulated Jaw!
If you have the Autobot alternators, you have to get the "Covert Agent" to build up your Decepticon ranks.

4-0 out of 5 stars Werewolf of Cybertron!
Battle Ravage is one of the latest in Hasbro's Transformer's Alternators line, which features realistic 1:24 scale licensed cars that turn into robots who are inspired by the original Transformers toy line from the 1980s.

I should note quickly that these alternators are not children's toys, they are basically marketed toward the older collector, so even though the box says ages 5+ we are not talked about Tonka trucks here. They are somewhat fragile and would probably become broken easily in the hands of someone under 11 or 12.

So, here we have Battle Ravage, who comes packaged as a Black Chevy Corvette convertible (I was never too big into Corvettes, but he looks to be the '04 model). The first thing one will notice upon looking at the car is the fact that there is a seam running the length of the hood and down the back of the car. Most of the toys have avoided this by making the hood a solid piece but I guess they couldn't here because of the way a vette's hood opens from the front.

I mention this because in the rest of the Alternators line the car modes in most cases could more or less pass for a standard model car. But with ravage (and Tracks, whom he is re-molded from) the seams kind of ruin this. That is not to say that he does not have a very nice looking car mode. He is a jet black vette with chromed 5 spoke rims, and even very detailed brakes behind them. Both doors open as well as the hood. As with the rest of the alternators line he sports a fairly well detailed interior as well as a pretty nice looking engine sitting under his hood. The red seats also look nice with the black paint job.

The toy comes with an instruction sheet detailing how to convert it from a Corvette to robot mode, which is what we will talk about next.

Ravage's robot mode is somewhat odd in that (according to my 4 year old son) he looks like a werewolf. The alternators traditionally sport robot modes that are inspired be characters from the original transformers line and it would seem that Ravage here is based on the character from 1984 who shared the same name and was a robotic cougar who turned into a cassette tape. The only inspiration we get from the first Ravage is the cougar head and black color, but over all it is still a very nice looking robot with smatterings of gray and a few details that are painted in metallic red. Also a detail not covered in the instructions is the fact that his jaw can be opened and closed (though not much). I would like to add that like Tracks (whom he shares a body with, save for his head) he is "armed to the teeth" with two shoulder missiles, double barreled guns on each arm, and an engine that turns into a handgun. He is very well articulated and can be put into a wide variety of poses.

Overall ravage is a nice looking robot and car, if not a somewhat odd homage to a character that did not originally have a humanoid robot mode. He looks good on my shelf along with my other two Alternator Decepticons, and is a nice addition to the line. ... Read more

LOTR rules!!!!
This 12" Sauron is one of the best toys i have seen so far. (...). He is movable and has light up eyes and he speaks phrases from the movie which is pretty awesome. Some of the things he says are "build me an army worthy of Mordor" "there is no life in the void" and "i see you"

One Bad Toy!
If you're a collector like me, this toy is a must! The armor is fantastic. The throaty whisper of Sauron, along with his glowing red eyes is postively chilling. As for durability I don't know. I will never remove it from the box. I have collected them all (toybiz) and Sauron is the best!

"There Is No Life...In The Void...Only...Death..."
This is a terrific piece. Not only do we finally get a Sauron figure, but we get one with a real cloth cape, light-up eyes, and movie phrases. With a character so evil and a figure so cool, who could ask for anything more? I would advise every Lord Of The Rings fan to pick one up. No, pick up two!!

I want my Sauron Now!!!
I went to Toys R Us and got A 12" Sauron.I got home and really liked it.The three problems were that the Ring was small and could get lost.Another problem was that the cape is sort of torn. The last problem was that I got a 12" Frodo,Aragorn, and Legolas and they were all big as Sauron. This a cool toy.It has four phases to say.No Lord of the Rings 12" collection is complete without a 12" Electronic Sauron.

GET HIM
THIS TOY TOTALLY ROCKS. IF YOU ARE A FAN, GET HIM, HE'S BEYOND COOL, I REALLY DON'T HAVE ANYTHING BAD TO SAY. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars The Babe launches one deep at Yankee Stadium
Now that McFarlane Toys has finally started putting out figures of retired baseball players as part of their new Cooperstown collection with Series 2 they go back all of the way to the inaugural class of the Hall of Fame to provide an action figure of George Herman "Babe" Ruth.Hank Aaron, Barry Bonds and everybody else can hit as many home runs as they want and the Sultan of Swat is never going to be forgotten as the greatest slugger the came has produced.Ruth led the American League in homers 12 times and crushed 714 longballs while leading the Yankees to seven pennants and four World Series.Since he was also one of the best left-handed pitchers of his generation and fulfills the Little League ideal of the kid who pitches and bats third, Ruth has a substantial claim to be the greatest baseball player of all-time.Ty Cobb and Ted Williams might have been better hitters, but how many consecutive shutout innings did they pitch in the World Series?Babe Ruth is the monumental figure in the history of the game and the only person who deserves to be mentioned in the same breath in terms of their impact on the game is Jackie Robinson.

This 6" inch figure shows Babe Ruth finishing his swing. He has obviously connected and is depositing this ball in the general direction of center field at Yankee Stadium. As is the case with these figures Ruth wears a period correct uniform. The Yankees had removed the "NY" monogram from their jersey in 1917 and went with a plain, pinstripes-only look for two decades until it was reinstated in 1936.That means Babe Ruth never wore the Yankee uniform with the "NY," which is why it is not on this figure. It was in 1929 that the Yankees became the first team to make numbers a permanent part of the uniform, which became a standard practice by 1932.Ruth wore #3 because he batted third in the order and Lou Gehrig #4 as the cleanup hitter (Bill Dickey originally wore #10 because he was the third of the three rotating catchers who batted eighth in the Yankee lineup. But I digress again). The bat is a Babe Ruth model Louisville Slugger and the base for this figure is of home plate at Yankee Stadium.

The rest of the MLB Cooperstown Series 2 figures are for "Catfish" Hunter of the Oakland A's, Cal Ripken, Jr. of the Baltimore Orioles, Mike Schmidt of the Philadelphia Phillies, Willie "Pops" Stragell of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and Willie Mays playing for the San Francisco Giants.Of course, with Yogi Berra and Reggie Jackson in the MLB Cooperstown Series 1 set of figures and the Bambino in Series 2, it is to be hoped that the flood gates are opened for other Yankees greats from Lou Gehrig and Bill Dickey to Whitey Ford and Thurman Munson.I do have my doubts that Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle will be licensed for such action figures, but hopefully over the next decade we will be able to get most of the players who have their numbers retired at Yankee Stadium (anybody notice that all of the magic numbers on "Lost" are those of retired Yankees?).Be aware that there are 12 inch figures of Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken, Jr. coming out this year as well, and the Ruth figure is different from this one. ... Attention! The rare and powerful Pokemon called Pikachu desperately wants a playmate. Squeeze its paws and watch its ears wiggle, its mouth move, and its red cheeks light up. And listen to a cute voice saying (over and over, with variations in emphasis and intonation), "Pika-Pika-Pikachu!" The more you play, the more excited this furry yellow fellow gets. Editorial Review

If everyone knew how incredibly cool life in the sewer could actually be, perhaps a lot more people would live down there. Well, maybe not. But for the moment, the underground catacombs, depicted here in a large and intricate play set, are mostly populated by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, their rat master Splinter, and various assorted bad guys out to defeat them. While none of those characters are represented here in action figure form, anyone who already has those figures (or any action figures, really) will find plenty of fun things going on in the Turtle's lair. A working, hand-cranked elevator travels from street level to the two levels below while a rope slide lets the boys rappel from one floor to the next. The centerpiece of the set is a combat area where figures placed on specific points on the floor can be made to spin around when you twist their corresponding knobs. There are also spring-loaded plunger missiles, a trap door, and a couch that springs back. All told, the lair play set is just as fun, silly, and complex as the Turtles themselves. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Cute, but falls apart
My son was so excited to get this toy, but very disappointed when it continually fell apart. We even super glued the parts together and it still came apart.

2-0 out of 5 stars AWFUL TOY
This toy is awful!!!! It constantly falls apart when my boys are playing with it (ages 6 and 3). I am very unhappy with this purchase!!! It was expensive to be such a disappointment!!!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Every TMNT fan needs one!!
I bought this for my 5 year old this spring. I got a great deal on clearance. The kids that come over to play love it. And best of all it folds up and has a handle so you can drag it around like a suitcase.

I thought the original price was a little much but after getting it out of the box I found out why. In our set we got 2 action figures, a vehicle, and various other NT Lair items.

2-0 out of 5 stars great toy!
This is a great toy , however it is on sale for $9.99 at JC Penney.com! My 4 year old nephew loves the turtles! He loved when I bought him this play sets !He sat & played with it for hours!

2-0 out of 5 stars A piece of junk!!!
My gentle 5-year-old son received this toy from Santa. The toy is made so cheap, it's a total rip off. He's hardly played with it, because it keeps falling apart. The plastic is thin and when connected (the sides, top and floor have to keep being put together), it stays until you accidently bump it or try to make the turtles scale the wall. If it was made all one piece it would've been so much better. I've never been so disappointed with a purchase. It's worth maybe $5 not $50. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wookie Warrior
I think this toy is great. My only complaint is that it's helment does'nt stay on when you open the box, but it's durability makes up for that. This wookie is big and beefy, so it's lower arms don't fall off when you try to pose it. It is definitly hunkier than Chewbacca, although all the wookies seem to be better made than everyone else. Of all the wookies I've seen from episode3, he can hold his gun much better. the snap-on body armour is'nt that great, but considering this wookies gun won't fall out of his hands while fighting a battle droid, thisis one of the best ROTS toys yet.

4-0 out of 5 stars Wookies Unite!
This Wookie Warrior is one of 4 preview toys to what is supposed to be the last STAR WARS movies, REVENGE OF THE SITH. In 1983 RETURN OF THE JEDI was released and thousands of adult Star Wars fans felt cheated knowing that the Ewoks in the movie were originally supposed to be Wookies.REVENGE OF THE SITH is Lucas' retribution and this action figure offers just a small glimpse of the Wookie race in all their glory. The action figure is slightly taller and much broader than the Chewie action figures of the past. It's a fairly flexible figure and is rather sturdy. It includes a variety of body armor, a weapon, and a helmet. The figure is a lot of fun to play with and makes one long for the waning glory days of the Republic.

3-0 out of 5 stars Wookies Rejoice
Finally we get to see a Wookie warrior in all his splendor. This guy comes with a rifle and decked out in armor. I look forward to seeing the Wookies in Episode III. Lots of detail makes this a figure worth adding to your collection.

5-0 out of 5 stars Winning Warrior
Very nice figure...great detail and nice to finnally explore Chewbacca's home planet...this guy is huge compared to Chewie..but then again Chewie was young...this one will be a great addition to our collection...hope they produce some differant wookie warriors...(like the old Ewoks)....
