Guess what! Dora the Explorer has jumped on the royal bandwagon! This intrepid explorer is now a fairy tale princess with magical hair that grows when the jewel in her crown is pressed with a wand. Dora talks and sings, too, in both English and Spanish: "Vamanos! Let's go to fairytale land! Will you brush my hair?" The 14-inch-tall plastic doll is not designed to be cuddled so much as played with and groomed. She is attired in a satiny yellow gown trimmed in pink and purple, and has a brush, barrettes, and magic wand. The magical tresses emerging from the hair-growing tube are quite realistic, although grownups, at least, might be a little unnerved at the sleek brown hair oozing in and out of Dora's head. Cinderella pirouettes like an Olympic champ in her fluffy lavender tulle costume. Just snap the (admittedly unattractive) plastic belt around Cinderella's waist, wind her up, and watch her spin! After the show, Cinderella can slip into something more fashionable: a pale lavender-ruffed pink suit with matching boots and over-the-shoulder bag. Cinderella's moveable joints allow her to explore many different poses and skating moves, although it's a shame the mechanics of those joints are so exposed. Dreamtastic Princess Lucinda
Groovy girls are the perfect size, and soft too. My little sister, who is six years old, has this doll. She's a dreamtastic doll. She even might have a magic wand but I kind of forget. She has the grooviest dress. I review all groovy girl dolls!

Wonderful disney doll!
I just bought her today and she is extremely great! I highly recomend her. Her voice is not loud and I love to put her little flower accesory in her hair, which stays there without falling off! She has big beautiful eyes that are a great shade of blue! Get this wonderful collectible! IT IS A MUST!!!

My 3 year old loves it, BUT...
I must warn you of some of the drawbacks. The doll's hair is made out of something that isn't combable. The hair is now a big ball of fuzz, which is impossible to comb or brush. After my daughter took this doll into the bathtub, it filled up with water. In order to get the water out, I had to remove one of the legs. Getting the leg back on was a real challenge, to say the least. Even after I removed the doll's limb, there was still water trapped inside her unremovable arms, head, and in her other leg. I imagine there must be a little mold inside the doll, by now, as a result of that trapped water. The other problem with this doll is that her legs are extemely difficult to bend. Whenever my daughter wants to make this doll sit down, I've got to help by bending the legs for her. Then, I'm inevitably called upon to straighten them out. In spite of these drawbacks with the legs, the trapped water, and the bad hair, my daughter still adores this doll and plays with her everyday. We've had the doll for 4 months already. Of course, my daughter is going through a big time Cinderella phase. Anything that is even remotely Cinderella, or Cinderella-like, is cherished and played with. These days, you could give my daughter a stick, put a light blue dress on it and call it Cinderella, and she'd be thrilled by it. I have a feeling that if this doll wasn't a Cinderella doll, and just an ordinary, no-name doll with these problems, she might not have been as interested. Best wishes!

BEFORE ONCE UPON A TIME CINDERELLA DOLL
THIS DOLL IS SO CUTE. I BOUGHT IT FOR MY TWO YEAR OLD WHO LOVES CINDERELLA AND HER MICE WHICH ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS DOLL AS WELL AS A REAL PRETTY BIRTHDAY CAKE THE MICE CAN HIDE IN. THE DOLL IS ALMOST PERFECT EXCEPT FOR THE GLITTER SPRAYED ON THE DRESS WHICH GETS ALL OVER MY DAUGHTERS FACE OTHERWISE WE LOVE THIS DOLL AND OWN THE REST OF THE BEFORE ONCE UPON A TIME DOLLS.

Cute Doll!
My 3 year old loves this doll! This was an excellent birthday present, especially since it comes with a birhtday cake. She loves the mice. This is a nice, cute toy. No loud noises or talking either! What a plus! The only drawback is the hard non snuggly plastic body of the doll, Would have been much nicer with a cuddly soft body, My daughter would have loved sleeping with it.

Great Toy!!
I got this for my 3 year old daughter and she just loves it!! She takes it everywhere with her!! She has so much fun with the doll and the mice and cake. She is getting the other ones soon too! This is a great doll for little ones who love the princesses.

Original is nicer
The original Toddler Princess Ariel is nicer than this one, it seems to me, that they "cheapened her up" for this doll. I mean, yea, she's still an Ariel doll, but the whole color change thing is really ugly. Especially the design on her face, it just looks awful! Also her mermaid outfit is weird, it's not the same as her real mermaid outfit, the tail especially is horrible, with the purple swirl down the middle...yuck!

Still, she's made very well, and if you can't get the original one, this one is ok to settle for. Maybe some people actually like the color changing thing. She comes with a purple seahorse that squirts water, a shell shaped water holder (for color changing), a hairbrush, a strange necklace, and boldly colored...hair extensions....eww. ... Read more
