Toboggan
We used this item and ones similiar to it for years as kids and I have since gotten them for my kids. They never seem to wear out. They work on any amount or type of snow, which is important when you don't get much snow!! They are fantastic for adults and kids - easy to carry and ride. Plus if you crash, these are lightweight enough that they don't injure the riders. The easist way to steer is laying on your stomach and using your weight to change direction. Terrible quality control on this product
When this product arrived, it was missing several major parts, including the front ski! We had to call the company to get the parts, and they insisted that we pay for shipping, even though it was their mistake. When the parts shipment arrived, it was STILL missing some of the parts. We had to get a second parts shipment to get the sled completed. We are very dissatisfied with this product and especially the quality control and customer service of this company. ... Read more

Lots of Fun!
This is a really fun sled! I think for the price, it is money well spent. It's a little flimsy as far as durability goes, but for a toddler, it holds up pretty well. I wish they had thought of a harness type restraint system instead of just a thin belt around the belly. My son is 14 months old and doesn't adjust to the thrust of the sled as well as I would like yet, so the jerk of the belt across the stomach tends to leave its mark after a while. Overall though, he really enjoys it and loves the snow!

Love this sled
We just got a ton of snow and I sent my husband to TRU for a sled that could be pulled. I was expecting a simple piece of plastic on which my 1-year-old son would have to lie down. My husband came home with this and it was such a pleasant surprise. I took my son down some hills and he spun around and never tipped at all. He really loved it, especially when I'd run or when we went down a hill. I can't say whether it's durable, as we just got it yesterday. But I plan to use it tomorrow and the next day....

Great first sled!
I bought this for my firstborn when she was 18 months and we have had a ball with it. She is 3 and half now and needs a new sled but our 11 month old is ready to take it over! It is very sturdy and the rope is long enough for us to use easily. The restraint feature is terrific! I have not had any trouble with it flipping over. I look forward to using it with our 11 month old as soon as the snow flies! I think it is a great sled for little snowbabies! I have even seen some parents use this sled on the beach to pull their toddler - interesting idea but I haven't tried it. Maybe I will try it next summer.

unplesant surprise
I bought this for my niece for Christmas when she was about 9 months old. Since we live in Wisconsin I thought it would be used often. I was displeased to find that it tips over backwards VERY easily. It is rear end heavy. I am also a taller person so the rope wasn't long enough either. (all though that is easily correctable with a new rope) I was very displeased and unplesantly suprised when I gave the sled the first pull and the front end flipped up and she tipped out the back end and got her first face wash and let me tell you that neither of us were very happy. I made a few repeat attempts trying to pull it a few different ways and got the same results.
I do not recommend this item. I have heard from others in this area that have bought this same sled and all have had the same experience. ... Read more

don't overload
We used this one time sledding for an hour and it was deflated. We had a person who was 180 lbs. take a ride on it so it may very well by our fault. Maybe it would last awhile with smaller kids. It was very fast and extremely comfortable. We sled on the same hill with this tube and a regular plastic sled and the comfort in this sled is outstanding; it glids over the bumps and you don't feel them at all.

Good snow tube!
This snow tube is very fast and can stand up to certain speeds, however, this tube isn't made for the max speed it gets! I had this tube, I hit a bump went flying, holding on to this tube for dear life, when I landed, it popped! It was worth the money though!
