This is just a sled
I have never seen this "sno board," but I can tell you from the description and other reviews that this is just a sled you ride standing up. No resorts allow snowboards without metal edges and leashes (straps which attach them to your body so they can't hurt somebody). This is because of safety. If you or your kids want to learn to snowboard, rent equipment and get a lesson, don't rely on a toy like this.
If you are just looking to have fun in the snow in your backyard, then this board might be okay, but don't plan on going to a ski area with it.

Very Disappointing
This purchase from Amazon was disappointing and misleading.
A very cute snowboard is shown and when this item was delivered
it was plain gray, not exactly exciting for my little daughter.
I hope your products are more accurately portrayed in the future.

What a disappointment!
My son (age 7) was so excited to use his Christmas gift certificate to get a snowboard, but we learned the first time we took it to the only place nearby with snow that it isn't a real snowboard. It was advertised as such, but the ski patrol said it was more like a sled and didn't meet the qualifications for use. It has no strap to tether the board to the user's ankle, which would keep it from shooting out and smacking someone when you fall. They also said there is something wrong with the edges. So we have wasted our money and have nothing to use this for.

NOT even true
Its not even a realistic snowboard. the bindings could get someone hurt! its more a sled with fake bindings then a snow board. i have been snowboarding for a whil and even on my first day i could tell u the thing is a piece of junk!!!

My nephew sure loved it!
Overall, this snowboard is very good. I definitely recommend it. The only thing that prevented it from getting five stars in the "fun" category is that the manner in which you adjust the straps is very cumbersome. I got this as a gift for my nephew, and he wanted to go outside and try it out immediately. But it took us a long time to get the foot straps the right size for him. They are made of two pieces of plastic, each with two rows of holes in them. You choose the hole that is the right size for the kid's foot, then you connect them with a screw and nut combination that is pretty awkward. I would say that it was worth it, however, since he and his brother argued over whose turn it was for until their father made them come inside.

I would also just like to point out to people who have complained that "it's not a real snowboard" how obvious that should have been to you. At this price, for goodnesssake; of course it's not a "real" snowboard. This is for kids who want to "snowboard" but aren't trying to become an expert in the sport. It's cheap, it's fun, and they can go down hills standing up on it. If that's what you're looking for, this is a good buy. If you're serious about snowboarding, open up your wallet and look for something else. ... Read more

great fun snow toy

Fun for ages up to 18!!!!!

Don't waste your money or time.
I bought two of these snowboards last Christmas (2001)for my 6 yr old & 8 yr old. They were beginners and I liked the idea of the cord & handle. But their feet kept slipping off the foot areas, making it impossible to learn. They ended up using a friend's board with foot straps that allowed them to snowboard. After that they were able to use their's a little better...still sliding off though. So I'm out shopping for snowboards again this year...this time for one with straps!

NOT WORTH IT!
This is not a good deal!! It's ovious that it's not a real snowboard and there aren't even bindings for your feet! it's like a sled and nothing like a real snowboard. I'm a very good and experinced snowboarder and i could tell you even before my first time on the slopes that this is a peice of junk. It's only good if you want to break your neck, as my friend did, just because there are no binding. If there were, this would be no good still because there is something wrong with the edges! Snowboard
I like this snowboard altho I got the Green And Black Echos 130 version last year that is probably better but the discontinued it for the newer vesions that i have learned to Rail slide to tail grab in all that it is very durable but im not sure if the newer versions are as durable ive tried this one and its not as fast but preform the same.

good quality, but color doesn't match
The snowboard shown on line is purple and blue, the snowboard that was delivered is orange. Although iI can live with it, it is not what I expected or wanted.

Disappointed
I purchased a snowboard for my son and the bindings on the snowboard broke. I am very disappointed that you can find a place to sell just the replacement parts for the Echo 130. It is very disappointing that you spend that kind of money for something that is not made to last. If there is a place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Cancada could you please e-mail me back with the location.

Mom's and Dad's can join in the fun
This ia a great sled! Especially with it's length allowing Mom and or Dad(with the child)to join in on the ride. It's really long with ample steering rope. Yes! It's true it not 88 inches but the 66 inches works fine. The body has just enough flexiblity while maintaining, it's shape and form. Try it out!

Coolest on the hill!
We used this sled I bought almost 6 months ago here on amazon for this first time this past weekend! They loved it. All of my kids could fit in it and go down the hill at once! We had several families come up to us and ask where we purchased such a large sled. And even my self and hubby used it and neither of us are exactly light weights and this had no problems. Great gift for your kids for christmas!

IT IS NOT 88 INCHES!
We just ordered & received this in the spring, in anticipation of next winter's snowfall.

It looks fine & dandy for what it is. However, it IS NOT 88" as quoted in the title! It is 66"

Not as good as it looks.
Looks cool. However, the steering doesn't really work well. If you try to turn, it either doesn't work, or you end up sliding sideways down the hill. I bought it for my 7 year old son. I've watched him and other neighborhood kids try it, and have tried it myself. Other sleds that are simpler (and cheaper) are more popular with the kids. ... Read more

Just won't GO!
I bought this sled for my son for Christmas, he loves to scooter in the summer. We have a GREAT sledding hill, but this sled just doesn't work! We have had neighbor kids of 5,6,7,8 years old, and the like, trying out this thing, and they all leave it on the side of the hill in disgust. In my son's words "It just doesn't go, you have to push it! push it! push it!". It is like a scooter in that regards. You have to keep pushing it in order to make it to the bottom...is that fun? Hmmm not for my kids! I thought it would be more like a sled, and you would push off and ride the hill. Needless to say, this sled has been used very little, left in the garage. It might get brought out, in some hope, but it is soon left alone. I was thinking of trying some armor all or wax or something to make is more slippery. I will get back with you on that. This expensive sled is not worth the money it costs. Just get a flat zip sled for your best slide, you will save yourself a BUNCH of money. Fun 4-2, but...
This tube is great for thin riders or one thic rider, but catching a branch will pop this tube, snag this tube while draging it will pop, left in the sun and it will pop!!! Be careful with this tube! Try buying an Inner Tube (the black ones) instead, they are much sturdier than these! ... Read more

Great!
This is a great tube that is built for speed. The only problem is the air plug keeps popping out from its socket, ending as a result, losing some pressure! This is one tube made for excellence!

Speed is the key to snow fun!!!

The best sled ive ever owned.
I got this sled for christmas and love it. i live on steep hills and this thing is awesome and fast. The first run is hard cause the snoww needs to be packed down but once it is this sled will fly. ive raced my brothers and beat them bad. its also pretty durable cause in the summer i go down my steps and it doesnt snap or break.

We love it!
OK, I'm too big BUT I can fit on the back seat while my 2.8 year-old pilots from the front... It's great fun for smooth hills and the steering system actually works. If I can find another I'm buying it but it seems to be sold out in my area. ... Read more
