Looks Better in the Box!
Well the idea is great... First of all, where do you hang a thing this heavy? If you try a height low enough for your child to reach, it needs to have area to repel against, rather than hanging idly in the wind... The cord is difficult for small hands and our Spidey had not gotten a whole lot of use before the cord was jammed anyway. Great concept, and maybe better for a big kid, with cautious hands and the ability to reach tops of doors, but our four year old did not get much enjoyment out of it. ... Read more

Getting most action figures to sit on the shelf is futile. But not withNorman Osborn--eleven points of articulation and well-thought-out leg jointsallow him to sit in his chair in a more natural position. Granted, it doesn'tappear to be comfortable, but that could be due to the chair's special feature.Placing Norman's alter-ego mask on the chair and giving the seat a push makesthe mask emit one of three phrases and lights up its eyes. The Green Goblin maskdoesn't fit on Norman's head or rest well on his lap (as the packagingsuggests), but just pushing on the seat cushion to hear the villain's cackle isenough. not very good
this toy is not very good. the arm broke off a week after i got it. and then my daddy glued it for me but then it broke again! it doesn't pose in very many places.

Cool
This is an ok toy.Not really movable or anything but still is an exellent display figure.so if you have a collection of s.p toys this is amust.(...)

Good to sit on a shelf but really that much fun? Maybe.
If you are a collector and want a good addition to your spiderman set then this one is really good for you. I told my 5 year old son to pick one toy at [local store] the other day and this is the one he picked. He got it home showed it to his friends and it has since been running in my feet ever since due to it laying on the floor. If he plays with it it's when I'm not looking but he does like it. Good toy but not great.

Speaking Goblin
This toy is great i mean the mask even talks it says three phrases from the movie Spiderman. It says "the world will be yours and mine,"can Spiderman come out to play,and laughs. If your a big fan of Goblin definetly get this toy. This is why this toy is awesome.

well i bought this one for my set... but its a great toy, the 3 phrases dat it says sounds like the goblin from the movie and the eyes light up, it was dark in my room and i pushed it and got alittle freaked out, great details and the figure looks just like the actor... this toy comes with the figure, the chair and the lightup helmet... great details overall 4 for me ... Bumps too slow
My 4 year old son LOVES Spider-man and was excited to play with the permanently sitting action figure that is supposed to be sitting on the "jet cycle," but the "jet cycle" is so slow that he tossed it aside and only plays with the action figure that should have articulated legs so that it would have more play value. I'm not sure just how durable the cycle is since it's never played with.

Great swimming fun
My 5 year old LOVES his spiderman swim set. The fins and gloves help him to learn the proper way to use his hands and feet to swim, kids LOVE to wear goggles swimming and these googles are just plain fun. One glove can squirt to ward off Spiderman's enemies (the Hulk perhaps?). Hours of fun at the pool with this set!! ... Read more

This is a great toy!
This is a pretty reat toy. It is quite possible, very detailed, and move easily. This toy is very durable, as well. My dog get's a hold of it, and it doesn't see to break. Now all I need is the Deluxe Roto Figure Doctor Octopus, and this Deluxe Roto Figure colection will be complete!

i love this toy
santa gave me this toy for christmas. it is my favorite toy of all my toys because it looks just like the one in the movie and it can pose in a lot of ways! i have had this toy since last christmas and i still love it.

Doc Oc
My son had this figure for just under a week, and the lever in the back snapped off. The figure looks great, but doesn't stand up, and now the arms won't move without that lever.
Should have left it in the box.

Cool, But, Frustrating
This is a very stout, and highly articulated rotocast figure. Much better than the 2 Spiderman and the 1st movies Green Goblin. (...), it's really great.
It is short packed; but, not all that uncommon. I found 3 in 4 cases. There's only 3 figures to a case, however.
The tentacles are very difficult to get in. The instructions are not the best, so, that adds to the frustration. I have my Doc Ock standing on it's own. It's all in how you pose the tentacles. I have them holding the figure up. (Have the tentacles behind Doc and it'll stand). Becareful bending the tentacles, they are somewhat fragile. I was worried I would break mine. But, they did survive.
+ side: Solid figure. Heavy. Looks better than the actor.
- side: Difficult getting the tentacles on. Tentacles feel fragile. Poor assembly instructions.
Score 89% B+

i don' t like it
i was really excited to play with my new doctor octopus toy, but when i got it, i didn't like it. the tentacles were very hard to put in and once you got them in they wouldn't stay in. on the picture they show that the tentacles are posable, but they are not. you can't even get him to stand up becase the tentacles weigh him down.

Awesome but can't Seem to Find My Own
I simply love the toy. It's so realistic looking; the manufacturer's did an AWESOME job. I wish I could get my own but everywhere I check they don't have it. It must be that there's only one in every box shipped.

Very disappointed
Initially, I thought this would be a great toy because we have the 12" Spider-Man for our 3 year-old and thought Spidey's nemesis would be a great addition. Although this action figure looks GREAT, it does NOT perform well. The four tentacle arms are so heavy and long that Dr. Ock cannot stand up on his own; you MUST hold him up yourself. Also, the figure is NOT very durable. We have not had this item a week and one arm has a slight crack incurred while trying to remove his overcoat (the human arms do not bend well and removing the overcoat, while possible, is quite awkward). Today, while playing with it with my son, one of Dr. Ock's tentacles broke off at the joint where it joins his back so now only three tentacles can be used. We still have the receipt so we are planning to return this item where we purchased it. This toy was a big disappointment. ... Read more
