Donatello is the fix-it guy of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Good with his, well, we'll call them hands, and often able to save the day thanks to his quick thinking. So it's odd, in a way, that Don's weapon of choice is essentially a simple stick (or as they call it in Turtleland, a Bo staff). This rift between high- and low-tech is bridged with this 3-foot long electronic version. Once two AA batteries (not included) have been installed, the staff makes swooshy, swingy, and bonky noises when waved around. Since it has a rather rustic look with fake wood detailing, it would also be most welcome in a pretend play game of Robin Hood or even something hobbit-inspired. Heros in a Half Shell
This toy appealls to all ages, from toddlers to the retired I'm, sure that everybody could have fun with this very nifty toy.
With this toy I can finally be a hero and a half shell. Now I can finally live out my dream of being a ninja turtle, I wear the mask and run around the streets near my apartment fighting crime and living by the code of the ninja. Somebody called me crazy but that was only becuase they don't understand the code that I live by, Splinter taught me everything I knew. I just found an old abandoned subway station and plan to move in soon. And all this is thanks to this awesome toy, God Bless you Playmates.
The toy even makes awesome fighting noises when you swing it around which makes me feel even cooler, but it definitely gets confusing because sometimes you can't tell whether you hit something or not so I really am not sure if the nosies where such a good idea especially since Ninjas are supposed to be stealthy and silent like so that is a potential problem. But this problem pales in comparision to the joys I feel of finally living out my life long dream of being a ninja turtle.
Anyways in conclusion this toy has to be among the top five Donatello bo staffs ever made and I mean ever so you should rush out and buy this like now.

Very cool sound effects
I bought this Staff and mask for my 5-year-old because I like toys that encourage imaginary play. When he opened the Staff and began to play with it, I was very impressed with the cool sound effects that it makes. It sounds as if he's hitting objects as he twirls the stick around -- and (thankfully) he isn't hitting anything. However, if he did hit something, it wouldn't cause much damage -- the toy is lightweight, yet durable. The Staff makes him look good -- it looks and sounds as if he actually knows what he's doing because it is such a great toy.

This toy is awsome when i heard it came out i went to [my local store] and bought it. i love wearing it around the house. im 17 and i think its fun to play with i wear it when me and my friends go out my friend Ed wears the michaelangelo mask and he puts the nunchucks in his pockets. we both look cool i gave the durablety 5 stars because its makes me feel like im donatello. ... Great Figure!
This is a great action figure and it goes with the Marvel Legends perfectly! It has over twenty points of articulation! Awesome figure!

DIDN"T WE JUST SEE GAMBIT?
Marvel Legends has a Gambit figure already. And, despite its shortcomings, it was done reasonably well. Why produce him again under the X-Men Classics series (which are the same scale)?? And then, accessorize him with a disk shooter?? More proof that ToyBiz lacks an intelligent marketing staff. The only thing this figure has over the Marvel Legends figure is the jacket. It's molded as part of the figure and not a seperate piece of shabby clothing. It does add to the figure's appearance and makes it look real sharp. Great for an X-Men fan or collector...or someone who just can't get enough of Gambit.

Toy Biz has outdone themeselves this time with the new wave of X-Men Classics actions figures. I absolutely love how articulate and detailed each one of theme is.
This is a great Gambit and best of all he features his lesser know X-treme X-Men duds. My only complaint with the toy is that Remy here comes with a DISK SHOOTER! Hey I know he can't use his powers right now in the comics, but this is a bit wrong. I would like it if Gambit would come with his trademark staff and cards, but hey you can always steal them away from the Marvel Legends Gambit, although you may need to cut the staff down to size.
I believe anyone who is a fan of the X-Men will enjoy adding this Gambit action figure to their collection. As a Marvel Fan it earned five stars with me! ... Read more
