If everyone knew how incredibly cool life in the sewer could actually be, perhaps a lot more people would live down there. Well, maybe not. But for the moment, the underground catacombs, depicted here in a large and intricate play set, are mostly populated by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, their rat master Splinter, and various assorted bad guys out to defeat them. While none of those characters are represented here in action figure form, anyone who already has those figures (or any action figures, really) will find plenty of fun things going on in the Turtle's lair. A working, hand-cranked elevator travels from street level to the two levels below while a rope slide lets the boys rappel from one floor to the next. The centerpiece of the set is a combat area where figures placed on specific points on the floor can be made to spin around when you twist their corresponding knobs. There are also spring-loaded plunger missiles, a trap door, and a couch that springs back. Cute, but falls apart
My son was so excited to get this toy, but very disappointed when it continually fell apart. We even super glued the parts together and it still came apart.

AWFUL TOY
This toy is awful!!!! It constantly falls apart when my boys are playing with it (ages 6 and 3). I am very unhappy with this purchase!!! It was expensive to be such a disappointment!!!!!

Every TMNT fan needs one!!
I bought this for my 5 year old this spring. I got a great deal on clearance. The kids that come over to play love it. And best of all it folds up and has a handle so you can drag it around like a suitcase.

I thought the original price was a little much but after getting it out of the box I found out why. In our set we got 2 action figures, a vehicle, and various other NT Lair items.

great toy!
This is a great toy , however it is on sale for $9.99 at JC Penney.com! My 4 year old nephew loves the turtles! He loved when I bought him this play sets !He sat & played with it for hours!

A piece of junk!!!
My gentle 5-year-old son received this toy from Santa. The toy is made so cheap, it's a total rip off. He's hardly played with it, because it keeps falling apart. The plastic is thin and when connected (the sides, top and floor have to keep being put together), it stays until you accidently bump it or try to make the turtles scale the wall. If it was made all one piece it would've been so much better. I've never been so disappointed with a purchase. It's worth maybe $5 not $50. ... Read more

This Turtle truck measures in at just over a foot long and is packed with plenty of "hey neat!" features, including spring-fired missiles and a towing winch. Best of all, there’s plenty of room inside for turtle action figures, or whatever other action figures you think would enjoy riding in style. Turtle truck good buy
I bought this for my 5 yr. old. He loves it. Has missles that shoot out and is easy to use. Also, pretty durable. Another plus is the space inside the truck. My son stores his weapons and ninjas in it when not using truck, so he doesnt lose any pieces.

Good sized! Holds 3-4 figures! Kids love it!
The deluxe armored truck was a great gift! My boys (6 & 9yr) have had a good deal of fun with it and it has withstood their roughness. They love the shooting missiles and the fact more than one figure can fit inside. Great toy!

Kids love it
This toy is a hit with the 3 and 5 year old, but the roof comes off all the time. The disc shooter broke on the second day, the ramp in the back is hard to get back in and falls off. I'm just glad I got it on Clearance for $10.00.

An Ok Toy But There Is One Big Problem
The new TMNT line is pretty neat so far but it can't beat the old line. This vehicle has some AWEWSOME detail. The huge problem is that aside from April and Splinter, no one can sit in it. The Turtle's legs can't be put in a sitting position. They have to stand in the Battle Shell. If you turn their legs backwards they can be put into a sitting postition but their leg joints loosen up pretty bad. I would really only reccomend theis to a die-hard TMNT fan. The Party WaGON FROM THE ORIGINAL LINE IS 100 TIMES BETTER.

very fun
This toy is really fun. first it comes with this ooze stuff that doesnt stain the carpet and doesnt ruin the figures or play set. It may be a little frustrating putting it togeather but the instructions were very deatailed. Heres a tip: dont lose the pieces or else will not be able to use it. put it togeather in a wide open space so you can always find the pieces.
I had no trouble with the pieces togeather (maybe the other review people had a deffective set lol)

Anyway i would reccommned this toy to your kids. it is defidently worth the money !

oh yeah and one more thing about the ooze stuff is that you should always keep in in the plastic barrel that it comes in and not on the floor. or else you will have alot of stuff sticking to it like i do.

Disappointed!
My son received this for Christmas. He got frustrated quickly trying to put it together, and it took the adults several hours to assemble, then broke apart the minute we picked it up to move it. After many attempts to put it together and keep it that way, the pieces now sit in a toybox, forgotten. He likes the little turtle characters and the fighting platform, but the lair itself is a waste of time & money.

I really enjoy this toy!
I love this toy! being a big fan of the Ninja Turtles, I enjoyed playing with the characters and making my own adventures. Two things I like about this set is that it comes with a miniature version of the Sewer Slider, the Ninja Turtles Go-Kart, and some Amazing Mutagen Sewer Sludge that does not stick to the set, making it possible to dump it on the Shredder and his Foot Soldiers without a sticky mess! I would recommend this set and the two other Ninja Turtle Mega Bloks sets to any Ninja Turtle Fan! This set only took me about an hour to complete, but I have been building with Legos and Mega Bloks for many years, so it might take other people longer to complete. The only problem I found with it was I had a hard time trying to make the couch stick to the set, but otherwise it is a very fun and easy set!

Awesome toy
My 11yr old son loves this toy. I was impressed with details on the lair and the number of figures that are included for the price. We have left it assembled and haven't had any problems it coming apart. It's one of his favorites.

A zillion itty-bitty pieces
This sucker took me 2 hours to put together...it comes with a ton of itty bitty pieces, to make a 2-story building, with a street on top of it. We're talking lots of the 2-dot legos here. Even the tv set has about 14 pieces, as does the couch! Needless to say, I'm not tossing this thing back into the general lego pile. It does have a cute car, and little weapons, and 1-inch figures, and my kid thought the ooze was super cool...for about 15 minutes on Christmas morning. I don't know why, but I got 4 turtle-mainiacs (ages 5-8) running through the house, and this thing just sits there. The Battle Shell Mobile, which holds 4 of the 5-inch figures, and shoots missiles, is a much better turtle toy. ... Read more

We're not entirely sure what kind of brawl Donatello from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is engaged in here but apparently it somehow involves a pagoda. In this action figure rendition of the perennially popular series, Donatello is given a breakaway wall that seems to be from a traditional Japanese building. And apparently his battle has been a victorious one since he is able, thanks to some effective low-tech spring-loaded abilities, to do an effective cartwheel. Don, as he is more commonly known to the rest of the turtles, is equipped with a couple of bo staffs that are fused to his back and a couple more that he can hold in his hands. Don is far from being a non-violent toy, even though he is ostensibly a force for good, and parents should be aware of the Turtles' brawling nature. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

History will decide many centuries from now if the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had the same level of long-lasting impact on global cultural history as did the Renaissance artists for which they are named, but having stuck around through many years in the capricious and fashion-dependent world of action figures, such a lasting legacy would not be surprising. This figure features Leonardo, the leader of the group donning his traditional blue mask and trademark sneer that indicates a readiness for combat. Leo is spring-loaded and, once pushed down in a certain way, will ably execute a back flip. He comes equipped with a sword, some spiky knuckles, and a breakaway fake brick wall. The artist Michaelangelo was probably never known as the light-hearted jokester of the Renaissance but that is the role of his namesake in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In this action figure version of Mike, he totes his weapon of choice, a set of nunchakus, and wears his customary orange mask as well as a snarling smile that manages to make him look both happy-go-lucky and still vaguely menacing. When bent back, a spring-loaded mechanism catapults Mike forward in a flip (that was perfectly executed every time we tried it). A breakaway wall with imitation bricks below a set of fake trees is also included. Besides being the Turtles' resident jokester, we are also told by the packaging that Michaelangelo is the peacemaker of the troupe which seems odd given all the nunchaku swinging and wall breaking but in a world where turtles become ninjas, anything is possible. --Charlie Williams ... Raphael is known as the hothead member of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is quite a distinction given that turtles are reptiles and therefore cold-blooded. Nonetheless, he looks ready for action in this entertaining action figure version. Raph is equipped with his twin "sais" as well as a dagger and wears his trademark red mask and impassioned sneer. Bend him backwards and a spring-based mechanism will wind him up for an impressive and consistent forward flip. Evidently, Raph has also been incarcerated but has little trouble blasting through the included breakaway prison door. Parents concerned about violence in their kids' toys may wish to look elsewhere than the ever-brawling and heavily armed Turtles but the cartoonishness of their world and their inherent silliness may make the Turtles seem relatively harmless. --Charlie Williams ...
