It's a keeper
Just did my Christmas shopping and bought mostly
spy toys for my 9 yr old grandson. I always assemble
and try the toys out first so there won't be any
disappointed kids on Christmas. I really like this toy.
If I were 9 years old again I think this would be one
of my favorite toys. My only concern is the on/off switch,
which is very small. I myself forgot to turn it off for a
few minutes. Luckily, I remembered to check it just before
wrapping it up for Christmas.

Horrible
I bought this thing because it seemed like a pretty cool thing. But i was wrong. All I could here was my own brathing this thing sucks. Dont get it.

I think the spy listener from wild planet is a great toy the only thing is i could not here the best but asides from that its really cool also the way it fits on you head is odd but overall its a good toy

Man, I looked So Awesome In This
I am a twenty-year-old professional secret agent, and was delighted to find this ultra-cool-looking piece of equipment at such an affordable price. As a trial run, I wore the Spy Listener to a restaurant with two of my fellow agents. First of all, the restaurant's patrons were obviously so impressed and envious of how cool these glasses looked on me that they could not bring themselves to stop staring.

As far as functionality goes, at first, I couldn't pick up much more than fuzzy sounds in such a crowded place. Then when I put the glasses on top of my head, I could pick up what the people one table over were saying word-for-word. At this point, I was overcome by conscience and turned the thing off.

Most of my spy equipment ranges in the hundreds to thousand dollar range. This is definitely an affordable and spy-worthy investment. ... Read more

LOVE THE RADIO!
As the parent of a handicapped child I can say that this find was a gold mine. She LOVES this radio. She can hold it on her lap and control the radio perfectly. She also loves the drop down speaker because she can hold that up to her ear and hear HER radio any time she wants. We have not yet tried it in the water because Santa brought it to her and the winter monthes are not yet over. So many friends have asked about the radio and want to purchase one. Thank you Aqua Radio for making my daughter so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a very dissapointed 12 year old
(I am not a toy enthusiast) If you want to buy this radio, you should deffinatley change your mind. This piece of junk is so quite you can barely hear it three feet away. And the reseption is terrible, you would have to point a radio tower right at it to get decent reception. It really does belong in the toilet. So once again DO NOT BUY THIS POOL RADIO!!

A neat water toy
I really liked this toy! The radio can play your favorite FM stations (although it isn't the clearest.) and along with it, cool sounds! I like the dolphin the best: I love the noise! It sounds real! This is great if you have a pool.

We like it!
Works great! Yes you can hear it underwater; throughout the entire pool. Those people above who said they couldn't hear it underwater must have been doing something wrong. We love it.

Bathtub toy, not for pool
I bought this thinking I could use it in the pool. It receives the channels fine, but it's not even audible underwater, not even 4 feet away with the volume blasting. Favorite Birthday present at the party

Great Toy!!
I don't know which kid enjoys it more (my husband or my son) but they get a kick out of it. The only fear is that my son will pick up on things that only adults should hear. I asked my son what he heard outside and he said that he heard big kids saying "Hey, and then I heard a bad word." It was cute the way he put it but since then, I limited his use of it to around the house and around close friends.

Storage
This toy is great fun! Tough to store with the "Dish Shield". But can be used without it. The shield just helps to block out background noise. But if used in a quiet area...........no TV, radio, or Cd playing...........it works just as well! Have had a lot of fun with this! Listening to birds in tthe backyard, as well as my little 9 yr old spy, listening to his brother behind closed doors. Hey it even proved to work when given to his "Hard of hearing grandfather! Good and fun......But not the best.
My son has the Spy Night Scope. He uses it fairly often. I have seen him use it at night. It is ok, but you need to have the light on in order to see through it and look at whatever you're looking at. I would only use it in a basement for fun if you're playing some fun game. It is very durable because I once dropped it on cement and it wasn't even scratched. I give it four stars because it is a rather fun toy to have to play with. That's all for now.

Is not so secret as it seems.
As far as the stealth part of it goes it is practicly a flash light on a pare of useless binoculars. If you have a flashlight and a pare of binoculars at home save yourself some money and disappointment. The commercial describes the toy as being able to see without the use of a flashlight (infrared). The toy has two modes to it. You can pop out a flashlight from the top for long range viewing or you can turn on the "green light" for quote and quote "short range secret viewing" I highly do not recommend this toy. ... Gift for Granddaughter that did not work
I bought the Off the Map Zoom Cam for my granddaughter for her graduation from pre-school. When it was opened, my son tried to load the film in the camera and it would not take the film. Her other grandfather, a trained photographer, could not get it to work either. I am returning it to the store here in Savannah and hope another one will work. I was extrememly disappointed. Guess it goes to show, when you do not buy a name brand item with a proven track record, this is what can happen. Not Toys R Us'fault. It is faulty merchandise from Wild Planet.

The Spy Micro Listener features a microphone that clips on to a shirt pocket and a short cord that connects to an earpiece. Obviously, being connected to the person listening, the range of the microphone is not limitless and the sound is more an amplification of immediate sound than a discovery of new ones. Waste of money!
This toy requires winding up and then being placed in the middle of the pool, so everyone's waiting for the fish to get fired off -- and when they do (all four of them), it happens in such slow motion that it's too easy for the kids to retrieve them instantly. Plus, the fact there are only four fish means that, if played with two kids it's a little boring, if played with more it's hardly worth doing. This game would be excellent if there were a lot more fish for the kids to retrieve -- eight or ten, maybe, instead of four. My daughter and her friend who played this are ages 7 and 8. They were completely unenthralled. They played for 10minutes and now there it sits, $20 worth of plastic, to be consigned to the heap of unwanted toys!

A big hit at the pool!!
I purchased this toy for our annual 4th of July party!! It was definately a "big hit" with the younger kids! For those over 10 years old, they got bored easily. It's a little hard for kids to wind up and set themselves. It does require some parental assistance. Overall I would reccomend it, especially for younger children! ... Read more

I Bought Trash
this thing sucked. it couldnt detect worth crap. oh except for the gum wrappers and the metal under concrete. I give it zero out of five stars but it made me put one. I lost a coin testing it. DO NOT BUY! unless you want to waste time and money.

Don't waste your money
This one is junk. It does detect metal 1/8" deep. We buried 2 coins a 1/4" deep in our sand box. Now I have to stop my 5 year old from screaming that we lost 2 quarters. Guess it is time to get the BIG shovel and sifter and find those quarters! ... Read more

This is a little handy item! it stores the magnifing scope, that attaches to the coin holder, that attaches to the flashlight! it also has a sadly cheap recorder that has a secret compartment and see through vinly button slots that allow you to push the recorders buttons for conveitnt es-dropping! it also holds cards and money. this is cool!

Just think of a "normal" wallet

that can hold a flastlight that's VERY bright, a cool flip up scope, voice recorder, ruler, coin holder(not that great), and magnifier. It holds money but not enough space to hold more than two cards. But it is overall in its real purpose,i.e. to spy, it is GREAT. Get it. Get it. Get it. I said get it.

Nice Gear!
The XP-5 Spy Wallet is awesome! It features a secret hidden message recorder, a micro-thin flashlight, a coin holder, and a flip-up scope. The coin holder, flashlight, and the scope all snap together and fit in the wallet. There's also places to put your money and credit cards. You should buy this wallet. It's some nice gear!

I have this toy at home. The voice recorder holds about 9 seconds of tinny sound. The flip-up scope makes little things bigger. The coin holder holds pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters.
