Baby Annabell for My Granddaughter
Well, I bought Baby Annabell for my 3 year old Granddaughter and she absoultly loves her as do I!
I think she is just darling. My granddaughter found her early, as in before Christmas!
Yes she was her Christmas present and she found it in Grandma's spare room a couple of weeks ago and just knew that it was for her. Any way, we both just love her.

Baby Annabell Doll
I received the baby Annabell for my daughter in the mail today. The doll is in good condition, however the way it was packaged was terrible. The box was mangled and I am surprised it was okay. I think my daughter will love this doll, but she will have to wait until Christmas :-)

New Mommy
I just got this baby today i loved it i guess its kinda silly for a 13 year old to play with dolls but i think its fun(dont tell my friends)anyways this doll isnt what i expected i thought it would do more stuff i couldnt chooose between rock a bye chou chou or annabell but when i found out annabells mouth moved i was set i think its fun to act like you have your own baby if you have old brothers or sisters who like to annoy then its not good like me my sister likes to yell and hit it right when it falls asleep but i think this is a great baby, overall.

BABY Annabell
I got Baby Annabell in the hopes that I would get a very modern doll.When I opened the pakage I wwas somewhat disppionted. Yes she was modern like she giggled and cryed. She really makes realistic mouth movements.BUT sometimes when you try to read a story to her she justs keeps on giggling.I can't really take out of my rooom or my family will go insane. Even when she sucks it's super noisy. I wish you could feed her or have to change her diaper because it's wet.It's perfect for the LITTLE mother HINT BETWEEN 3-7 but, maybe we older mother 7+up need something more than bottle feeding or rattling a rattle . Over all I think she is perfect for younger mothers. Also, I thinnk she is over priced. I do have a recomendation for older mothers though, Baby Born.

A great doll!
This doll is great--she cries and laughs like a real baby. I have a 5 yr old and a 2 year old and they both love to play with her. The crying is a little annoying after awhile, but you can turn her off with a switch on her back. She also comes with a bottle, pacifier, and toy bear. Well worth the money! ... Read more

What a WONDERFUL doll!!!
Santa brought this doll for my 18 month old daughter last Christmas. I know that the appropriate age starts at 3 years old, but we have had no problems. In examining the doll, I found nothing that could be hazardous to my daughter. I think the manufacturer put that age on the box, because they thought an older child might get more out of the doll. However, my daughter has learned quite a bit herself, and I am sure it is a doll that will grow with her.

This doll is a big bone of contention when her five year old cousin comes over to play. They both want the doll at the same time. My daughter gets really protective, and tells her older cousin: "MY BABY". It is really neat to see her mothering instincts come alive with this doll. She carries it around everywhere with her, and gives it lots of hugs. She loves to hear the sounds it makes when she gives the doll a bottle or pacifier. I am extremely happy she received this doll.

Since my niece loves the doll so much, I am purchasing one for her today. Now, maybe I can have some peace when she comes for a visit.... HIGHLY recommended from me. No problems at all...

Seems great but NOT
She seems like an amazing doll but my two little girls (ages 2 and 4, who love dolls and take good care of their toys) just don't like her. And she's already broken about a year after purchase. Her eyes just open and close continually when turned on. I tried new batteries so that wasn't the problem. The clothes were really awful. They looked old and worn out quickly, so I purchased her some new ones (not cheap) that weren't terry and that solved the problem with that. I paid full price for her so I am terribly disappointed. Also, beware that the bottle is very sharp for those who still put things in their mouth, especially toy bottles. But there is a pacifier to use if you must hide the bottle. I wish I hadn't wasted my money. Now my daughter wants a baby you just push her tummy to make her talk. Get one of those instead.

A must have for little mommy's/daddy's
My daughter begged Santa to bring this baby to her - and when he did she has been the best little mommy ever since! The doll is weighted just right and makes all the cute baby noises that baby's do - but she's not too loud. We don't care for the bald head/sculpted hair look so we jumped online and bought a baby doll wig for less than $10 and she's even more adorable and unique. This baby is well worth the money!! Zapf always makes such good quality toys we have never been disappointed. We highly recommend this baby for any aspiring mommy or new big sister or brother, our three year old son likes to take of the baby too. PS - she's very sweet with her bald little head, the wig was just something we did.

Lasting item
I was searching for additional outfits for my daughter's chou chou doll when I decided to add my comments. Two years ago I searched for a realistic first doll for my daughter's 2nd birthday. Chou Chou is what I found and she has lived up to every expectation. My daughter seems to have gravitated toward the smaller dolls such as the madeline 8 inch collection and now even smaller the polly dolls and accessories. But she continues to have Baby Chou Chou on hand sleeping in her own bed nearby. She loves to change doll clothes, so I try to always have accessories for all her favorites. One thing I must say is that for a doll who is approaching the end of a 2nd year with us, she has remained in excellent condition. No signs of wear. She doesn't go through tons of batteries either. We've replaced them once a year or so. I would highly recommend this doll. I agree with one of the other comments about the velcrow on the terry. Snaps might have been a better idea. I think the accessories for this doll are nice but a little pricey. My daughter loves to feed chou chou her bottle and give her pacifier to her. My first baby born diaper bag and baby born doll.
Every since I saw it on t.v. I knew that I had to have that diaper bag and doll. That is what I wanted for X-mas. She is fun to play with just as if she was my own baby to talk to and play with.

The only complaint I have is that i would like to purchase more original baby born diapers, and can't find them in any stores or any web sites. We had to buy another brand to keep the baby dry!. Buyer beware !
My 4 year old daughter just had to have the new baby born who could go swimming with her just like the commercials. Along with her new baby I bought this set to take with her doll swimming. The swimsuit is cute the hat is a little small (you really have to shove it on her and the fins are great.First I couldn't figure out why the snorkle would't fit in her mouth and it was because the google set up was backwards. The little nose cut out was on the top . That was an easy fix by just removing the frog eyes and putting them on the right way and turning around the snorkle.Still a problem. But the major flaw with this mask is that it will not stay on. They made the little knobbies that hold googles on too small and they slip right through The mask falls right off her which has made my daughter feel that she can't take care of her baby right and Asks why can't she do it.This is not what I intended for my daughter I expected joy. Wonderful Baby Annabel doll
This is the first doll I have bought probably in 15 years and I bought it for my 3 year old granddaughter and she loves it. It is the right size for her to carry around and take care of. We have to tell her the baby needs a nap so she will put it down so she can eat or when she goes home. She likes to take everything home and grandma has to refurnish toys, so this strategy has worked wonderful. Now we are working on the accessories.

NOT like Baby Annabell!
If your child is familiar with the Baby Annabell doll, DO NOT buy this doll instead! This doll is cute, but does NOTHING. It doesn't take batteries. It's just a cuddly doll, which is fine if that's what you want, but if your daughter wants a Baby Annabell (who laughs and cries and sucks on her bottle) than this doll will be a HUGE dissapointment. Her eyes don't even close and she doesn't even come with a bottle. She's a nice size for a smaller child and has a cute face, but that's about it!

Indeed a perfect baby
My youngest daughter has got a baby Annabelle a few weeks ago. My oldest daughter had a 'miracle moves baby' since last year.
Now she wants a baby Annabelle too. I love her miracle baby more because she looks a lot more lifelike, but the reactions of baby Annabel or more real than those of the 'miracle baby'
If parents wanted to buy an interactive doll, I would certainly recommand baby Annabelle.

Perfect Baby
Both of my daughters just had to have this doll for Christmas, and when they each got one, they haven't been able to put her down. They love her more than I've seen them love another doll they've ever had. She's teaching them that having babies isn't always fun and games, and that babies do cry when people are too loud. She also has taught them how to be gentle with little babies. She's a wonderful baby for any little, or big girl for that matter.

I am a 14 year old baby doll lover!!! This year my mom gave me a choice of getting a baby chou chou or video now. I wanted the baby chou chou but then laid my eyes on baby anabell! she is awsome she acts, sounds feels like a real baby even my moms friend ...was wanting to play with her. i have only had her for a few hours so far. but shes been trough a lot and you cant even tell. only bad thing is when you get her to sleep. loud noises and bumping into her or moving her wakes her up(just like a real baby)

Great Baby Doll

GREAT DOLL and SOOOO CUTE!
After looking and reading reviews on some other Chou Chou dolls for my daughter, decided on this one for her. Checked out Baby Annabell and Rock-A-Bye Chou Chou. They did have some more features to them, which thought would be nice. So went to store to see in person. Fell in love with the Be Happy Chou Chou. She was smaller and just a cuter face on her. She laughs, cries, giggles... very cute! My daughter is happy with the sounds the doll makes and doesn't seem to mind that she doesn't do what the other Chou Chous do. This doll is also a nicer size, nice size for my three-year old to carry around. Thought the Rock-A-Bye was a bit too big, as we've had bigger dolls and just seemed awkward for her. But would highly recommend this doll. VERY cute face and her hat is adorable on her! She makes just enough noises and is really a perfect size. Even my 14 month old is enjoying her. Glad we made this purchase, and feel we got a cuter doll for her for a much better price than the Rock-A-Bye or Baby Anabell. ... Read more

no mobile that works
I purchased this bed for my granddaughter for Christmas and was dismayed when the 'musical' mobile did not work at all. I have been waiting for 3 months now for either amazon.com or toys 'r us to replace this with one which works. I feel like I've let my grandchild down as I promised I would get one which works for her. But so far, no luck. I see that another customer here has had the same experience, so beware of this possibly defective toy and the problems trying to get it resolved. Save yourself the frustration.

Beautiful bed - but mobile is a dud!
My 6 year old asked Santa Claus for this bed and Santa delivered via Amazon.com. When we received the bed before Christmas we assembled the bed only to find that the mobile was a dud. We are still waiting (30 days later) for a replacement. It is not worth the money - look for another bed that works.

Fun Toy
My daughter is 14 months old and loves to play with this toy.

The mobile part is very loud and could be more of a sleepy song but my daughter loves it. It is easy to put together. My daughter gets in there with Annabell, I wish they had a firmer mattress that hide's the slots but my daughter has so much fun with it. It is on the expensive side.The colours are nice. My daughter likes to pull it around also. She has a lot of fun. I wouldn't buy this again, I would look into one with a firm mattress so she could climb in and out of.

not worth it!
My daughter had to have this crib for Baby Annabell last Christmas. I was willing to spend the extra money because it was interactive. The mobile is the loudest, most obnoxious toy that my daughter owns. I thought that it would put Annabell to sleep (or maybe even keep her asleep!) but instead it just makes her laugh. My other problem with this crib is that it falls apart very easily. You have to put the posts in the approriate notches to assemble. My 4 year old doesn't leave the crib in one place. If she forgets to pick it up from the bottom, the whole thing falls apart, and she cannot put it back together. If the crib would stay together once it's first assembled, I would recommend it just because my daughter loves the blanket, pillow, and canopy that all have the signature Annabell markings- just take the batteries out of the mobile! Great Realistic Toy!!
This bouncy seat is the best!I put my doll in it and have fun!It has a nice soft cushion and handle bars so you can carry your doll around while she's in it!You can also push the bouncy seat back and make it flat so she can sleep!It looks just like a real bouncy seat with duck print all around!It's very realistic,and I really enjoy it.So if you buy it,I know you will have no problem with it!

Whoo hoo for the baby born bouncy seat
I love baby born and the bouncy seat is the perfect accessiorie because when its time for a bottle feeding its nice because you don't have to craddle baby born and at the same time squeeze the bottle. Also it can be taken off the frame for a soft craddle and to be removed and HAND WASHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!So this is an excellent accesory for your baby born doll!!!!

Bouncy Seat a big bonus
This seat has added lots of enjoyment to my two girls (ages 3 and 5) use of all of their dolls. I bought it for the chou chou, but find that the Corrolle dolls like it too. It helps them sit up for doctor checkups or when "mommy" has her hands full with more than one doll, and the cloth part detaches and acts like a light weight carrier (perfect for my 3 year old). Most played with toy!
We bought this for our three year old for Christmas. She doesn't really play with toys alot but loves this toy. I can buckle into the car and she loves to take it with her and make sure her dolls wear their seatbelt..It does flip with out the toy strap secured when trying to carry the doll and is a bit heavier for a small child but my daughter loves it..She has since turned 4 and is 6 months later and she still loves it and takes it with her where ever she goes...Almost feels as if I have a second child but my daughter does all the work for her.

awkward
My almost 4 year old loves her Baby Born doll and was thrilled to receive this seat for her. However, the seat is never played with as my daughter finds it difficult to carry her doll around in it. It's clearly too heavy and too awkward as well as not really very practical.

seat flips forward or backward while carrying doll
My daughter used it once to carry her doll and it flip forward. I carried it for her and it flipped again. The handle needs to have a locking mechanism like the real baby seats so it won't flip. I returned it.

I would not recommend this toy
The design is cute and it is durable, but if your daughter wants to carry around her doll in this she will be disappointed. The carrier keeps tipping straight up and down which is very frustrating. My 7 yr old daughter started carrying this around the mall and was ready to return it and dad had to carry it. I love the bouncy seat which is made much better and the straps are easier to use.

It's a great toy
this toy is wonderful my daughter is 13 and she still plays with dolls she's not ashamed her and friends love stuff like this its just a great toy and it makes my daughter feel like a real mom. this is advise dont be ashamed to play with dolls no matter how old you are. Annabell Bouncy Seat
My daughter got the Baby Annabell Bouncy Seat for Christmas and she loves it. This seat is very well made and can be taken apart to wash. I highly recommend this item.

pretty in pink bouncy chair for annabell
this is a very pretty looking chair ,my daughter loves this chair she has a wide range of annabell items and this is one of her favourites,it is easy to adjust the seat you simply push the head rest part of the chair back to lower and the push or pull it back again untill it is where you want it to be ,it is easy to carry around from room to room with the handles attatched to the sides and the soft furry lamb head hugger can be removed and used as a toy for annabell well at least thats what happens in my house ,this is a good chair it is light weight so it is good for young children and the lovely pattern matches all baby annabells other collection of wonderfull toys, ...
