For years, Dragon Ball Z fans all over the globe have watched as the fate of the universe has been threatened time and time again by power-hungry megalomaniacs who are never satisfied with just controlling their corner of the galaxy. Through it all, Goku always stepped up to the plate to meet and beat whatever enemies flew into the protected realm. Then came Majin Buu, and suddenly everyone realized that for once, a solution might not be come.

In Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury, you start at the beginning of the Other World Tournament and battle all the way through to the end of the Dragon Ball Z storyline. You will play this battle-based role-playing game through the end of the Kid Buu Saga as one of five characters: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten, or Trunks. If it's not enough that you have the ability to tear through your enemies with an upgraded combat system, and the two fusion characters, Gotenks and Vegito.

This game will have the ultimate goal: the defeat of Majin Buu.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best DBZ game and fighter on the GBA
Now if you have experimented with many of the DBZ games in the past, you should know that 95% of them were pretty horrible. Plagued down by slow gameplay, a poor story, sluggish controls, and mediocre sound and graphics have made the majority of the series a boring play. After the poor releases of the Legacy and Taiketsu GBA games, Supersonic Warriors seemed like it would follow the same fate. Boy was I wrong...SuperSonic Warriors is one of the most fun and innovative games I have played in a while, and being a fan of the anime makes it even more exciting. What makes the game great is all of the modes they have provided, one system that has been carried down from the Budokai series, is the point shop system. Basically when you win at the Challenge or Battle matches you win points, which you use to unlock characters, higher power levels, and new story modes. The story modes are very interesting and point out some cool storylines for certain characters that go beyond the show.

The character selection is impressive as well, including Cell, Gotenks, Goku, Trunks, 18, and more. There are a few I would've liked to see make their appearance in the game, but I do not want to give out any spoilers. On the topic of gameplay, I found it great because of one thing it had that the others were missing....Speed. If you have seen the show you know that what made the fighting great was the KI fights and intense speed, this game has both. Flying at will, moving at quick speeds, fast paced grappling, and great effects all make for a fun fighting experience. With all I have pointed out it sounds like it does take a while to master, but actually within an hour I was able to get the hang of the gist of it. All in all, DBZ SSW isn't the most complicated fighting game out there, but it certainly is one of funnest, and bonus points to it being portable!

5-0 out of 5 stars It's the DBZ fighting game for the gameboy advanced!!!!!!!!!
You shuld buy this game cause it's great!!!! It got Fat Buu,super Buu, SS 3 gotenks, Trunks, Cyber frieaza and none of that stupid yamCha. If your thinking of geting this game, then stop. drop and buy this game. it's like budakai 1/2 where you have to buy stuff form the shop. do you people know hpow to get your Charecter level up? You can do close range attacks to kick your opponent away, then blast him with a long rage attacl like Burrning attack, kamahmaha, or a speicil beam cannon. to unlocksome more charexters you have to beat people in the challenge and z-mode and finish all of the If storris to earn some points. the beast team for the Z and challenge Modes is: krillin( cause He;s small and faster.) goku because he can use the kamahamaha and he can beat up most people. than your chioce of:super buu, frieza, cell, or Piccolo, or trunks or gotenks. But make sure you include krillion and goku. Them good.

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST DBZ GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this game is good because the graphics are good, the gameplay is fun, the specials are easy to do, and good characters! this is for DBZ fans and people who don't know about it but like fighting games. Fun game,5 stars

5-0 out of 5 stars X-TREME!!!
Before I begin this review, I would like to state my opinions.
1: DBZ fans only. (Otherwise this game would be very hard to understand, and some inconsiderate fools just don't understand creative genius when they see it). 2: If you think this game is too easy, than try medium, hard, or very hard. Try to unlock all characters. 3: Anyone that hates this game is a nincompoop.
Play through the story, enter the tournament, and customize to make the best character ever! Guaranteed to make you laugh your head off, this is also a very funny game. (Like Hercule, what an idiot). Guess what else? Win zenie, watch movies, and beat the living daylights out of anyone who stands in your way. Could life get any better?
(One more thing. You can also enter practice mode to improve your moves and try out attacks. I mean, did you see Trunks's Burning Attack? It practically destroys everything, I mean EVERYTHING!!! Cool).

Yea! DBZ in da house!
I've had this since the day it came out...and i'm still playing it! It is so fun. It is so much like the show.If your a dbz fan get it! It'll be worth the money. But... remember All games get old even this one just not for a very long time. I got it the day it came out and it's still great! well i gotta go soon but... get it if you are dbz fane if not rent it. If your not a fan don't write a review cause dbs fans don't like non-fan negetive comments. gotta go bye!!

Realy!!!! Cool Awsome And Fun Game
I bought this game today and when i played it I was pleased this being my first dragon ball z game I thought was cool. The graphics are great nice music the game was easy to beat thats the part i liked you should get it i promise you you wont be disapointed.

just get it.

4-0 out of 5 stars DBZ watchers only
I bought this game for my 7 year old son, and i found myself soon playing Budokai like any other game we have. For starters, i am a pretty heavy gamer, just ask my wife, and i found this game good for only one reason. It is that my oldest son filled me in on plot and throughly explained things. I like the plot, but that is because i am wierd. From a gaming stand point, man the entire control of movement and speed of getting somewhere stinks. Horriable to actually say that this actually a good fighting game. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars DBZ 2 is Awesome!!
The other DBZ games(Legacy of Goku 1,Collectable Card Game) aren't really even compared to this one! It magnifys the gameplay by 100, because of the assorted variatey of attacks, quests characters, and the number of different Sagas. You get to play as either Trunks, Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, or Piccolo. You go on tons of exciting quests and adventures, and the characters each have their own set of different abilities and disadvantages. You play from the Trunks Saga all the way to the Cell Saga! You get to face off against powerful foes such as Freiza, Imperfect and Perfect Cell, Androids 17,18,19,and 20. All in all this game is a must buy!

This Is The BEst GAme I Have Ever Played In My Life. If You Like Dragonball Z You Will lOve This. Instead Of Waiting For Special Moments To Go Super Saiyan. When You Go Super Saiyan Your Stats Skyrocket Instead Of Just Being A Transformation That Yoou Can Do. You Can Transform Any Time You Want. You Can Play As Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, And Picollo. There is an other Secret Character, His NAme Is... . This Game Goes Through The Trunks Saga, Androids Saga, Imperfect Cell Saga, Perfect Cell Saga, And The Cell Games Saga. There Are Other Things Like Collecting The 7 Dragonballs and Finding Lost NAmekians. Each Character Has 5 Special Techniques That Corespond To The Show. For Instance Goku Will HAve The Genki-Dama (Spirit Bomb), And Vegeta Will Have The Big Bang Attack, And Much Much More. This GAme Has At Least 20+ Game Hours Of Play. Compared To LOG That Is A Huge Improvement. When You Battle You CAnnot Fly Like In LOG To Cheaply Escape From Battle. The Only Time You Can Fly Is When You Are Flying On The World Map To Different Locations. There Are 200+ Different Maps To Explore. In LOG There Were Only About 8 Or 9. *Hint: Do Not Use All Of Your Strength Capsules On Gohan. You Will Understand At The End Of THe GAme.

5-0 out of 5 stars 10 times cooler then the 1!!!
First, my brother had the game. Then I got interested and started playing it! I was kinda dissapointed 'cause it's a bit short the game, but totally fun! You can play as Goku, Trunks, Gohan, Piccolo and Vegeta! And you don't have to collect little orange ball thingis to be able to fly, actually, you only have to fly when you need to get from one area to another, like from the City to Goku's house. Youre allowed to grow only up to level 50, and you can get capsules that raise your power, endurance, or strength. There are also side missions too, like having to save the womans husband in the woods, or get an autographed photo of Hercule, like stuff that you don't have to really do, but just for bonus.
So, the money is worth it!

Wanted Help?
Someone wanted a review telling where the three generators are? Well, I beat the game! Good game, yes. OK. The generators. 1st one is in Vinnie's house. To get to that one you have turn on the green, black, and blue switches that are in the cave leading to Vinnie's house. Leave all the other switches off. After you do that, go to his house and you'll see a open, metal door. The 1st generator is in there. Destroy it. Then go to the save point right before the place you see Dr. Gero's gate. Save the game. After you save, go up and make sure your bearing with me. If you are, you'll see the gate. Go down and right to go to the next screen, the 2nd generator is there. Destroy that one. Save if you want to. Then keep on going right and killing enemies until you come to a spot where there are cracks with steam coming up. Go up to the next screen, killing enemies, then go to the next screen and the 3rd generator will be there. There will also be a save point, so save it, please. Now you see that a dinosaur will be wrapped around the generator with eggs. Talk to it. You'll then have to bring it's eggs to the cracks I mentioned before. If you want to know my way of getting the eggs to the cracks, continue reading. Get an egg. Go down and walk right a little against the wall. Wait. Whenever the robot closest to you starts running at you, start running down and over and then go down and left and you should make it. Keep repeating that part and you'll be done!!! You're welcome!! Sorry this took so long. If you need anymore help throughout the rest of the game, post a review about it and I might see it sometime. Good luck!!! ... Read more

Editorial Review

In the universe of Dragonball Z items available, this stadium may disappoint fans used to a high level of quality. Whereas Dragonball Z action figures and games are noted for their solid construction and detailed workmanship, the TenkaichiBudokai World Tournament Stadium is a rather flimsy set of plastic and cardboard with pre-applied decals meant to serve as an arena for figures to fight battles. One corner of the white tiled floor features two tiles atop a lever, meant to propel figures into the air thus simulating fighting action. But aside from that relatively minor attribute, the stadium is a letdown. The legion fans of Dragonball Z would be better served improvising their own arenas. Figures not included. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

It looked good.............
Ok, I was at a toysrus store awhile back, I saw this toy and I wanted so I bought it. When I got home and put it was mostly cardboard. I mean 20 bucks for this? I mean it isn't worth 10 bucks let alone 20. The stage is ok, but a 2 at the most, all together I give it a 1 out of 5. Please don't but it.

DBZ Arena
It is amazing, i use it everyday with all 40 of my dragonball Z toys and have 100's of world tornaments and ss trunks always wins. he's my favorite. this is the best toy i've ever had and its even better with lots of toys.

Dont even bother!
My 11-yr.old son has been a DragonBall fan for a few years now, and when I saw this Stadium, I knew he had to have it! What a great idea for having his battles, and maybe even storing his figures! Boy, was I wrong! This stadium is so flimsy- we didn't even bother to take it all the way out of the box! It is made of cardboard, and wouldnt last a week of my son's action-packed fighting! Too bad, too- because this product really had potential!

My 10 year old beggged for this item for xmas. I conceded. To my Christmas morning shock it is mostly cardboard. The tabs don't stay put. Granted the corners and the ring are plastic, but very cheap plastic. Don't even try to move it as it will fall apart. My son even commented, "This is such a rip off!" Next week we will be shopping for a playset completely of durable plastic.

Not so hot
Not such a great toy (durable wise). My son wanted one for Christmas, and we got it. The biggest problem is that it is very poorly made. Dont't be fooled by the box. The majority of this item is made from cardboard, flimsy at best. My son really wants to play with it but hates the fact it keeps bending. The picture on the box makes it look like its all plastic (that would have made this toy really nice at least 4 stars) but it is NOT!.. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Dragon Ball Z, a great show, an alright GBA game.
I've played DBGT Final Bout for PS1, and I thought legacy of goku would be similar. It's short, but fun. However, there are tons of glitches that make the game way to easy. It barely follows the storyline, and the Kamehameha blast was NOT taught by King Kai. You walk way too slow, you have limited flying energy, and not having multiplayer game-link compatibility makes the whole purpose of getting better meaningless. The Saiyan saga is easy, the Namek saga is hard, and the Freiza saga is kinda hard. I can almost call it a dissapointment. Don't get me wrong, DBZ is awesome, but The Leagacy Of Goku could have used some major improvements. The Kamehameha wave dissapears halfway across the screen, and you can only go up to level 25. Nintendo is probably going to make a few sequels,(The Leagacy Of Trunks, The Legacy of Piccolo, etc.) but if this is how they started, the sequels can only get better. ( At least we hope!) If the upcoming Gamecube, Playstation 2, and Xbox DBZ games will be like this, they're wasting time and money and are scaring off fans. Infogrames screwed up here. The CCG video game is better.

2-0 out of 5 stars God Save us From the Minions of the Apocalypse
When I first saw this game on the bargain shelf at Hastings, I was thrilled. I thought, "Yay, I can finally get this cool game at a cheap price." I drove home, popped the game in, and watched the opening movie. (A shortened version of the show's opening) It was cool. I started playing. I played for a while, having fun controlling the most powerful sayain in the universe, when suddenly, I died. I had been killed by the most terryifying, the most hideous, the most evil creature in the whole galaxy...a small dog.

This happended a few mor times, until i finally got past that point, after which I thought, "Hey, it's okay, I'll be able to level up and get better at beating these terrible dogs."

At some point several days later I beat the final boss of the game, Freiza, then mentally shot myself in the head for ever buying this excuse for a game.

The premise is simple. You move around with a top down view similar to Zelda. You can punch to kill enemies close up, or use a ki attack to attack them from afar. You gain three different ki techniques. The ki blast is a simply a shot of energy that hits enemies for less damage than a punch. Then there is the famous Kamehameha Wave which you get from King kai later in the game, regardless of the fact that Goku could use that attack in the show before he even knew that the King existed. Finally you learn the solar flare before your first fight, and before the K wave. this is where the game goes from being merely horrible, to being utterly, boringly terrible. Now fights with any enemy progress like this. Solar Flare..punch enemy a few times...RUN AWAY!...lather, rinse, repeat. That's pretty much it. Not only that, but they give you lots of stupid tasks that weren't even in the show that range from slightly relevant( Returning lost artifacts to a Namek temple) to things that anyone going after a guy who kidnapped his son would never do. (Saving a girls kitty-cat). These irrelevant tasks added to the mediocre gameplay, and imbalance of power between enemies turns what could have been a great game, into one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my gaming life. There goes about 5 hours of my life. The only way I can atone for this is by making sure that no one else goes through this torture. Run..don't walk..away from any copy of this game. you will thank yourself later.

1-0 out of 5 stars Crap
"This isn't so bad... Is that a rabbit? I think it might be a squirrel actually... ITS EATING MY FLESH! IM DEAD! SPECTACULAR!" That's basically a short summary of this game. Talk about boring. You can die to the harmless butterflys if they touch you. Honestly, this game is terrible. To beat monsters you have to take damage or use up all your kai. To beat bosses you have to do some crappy solar flare 50 million times, hit them with 6 punches max, then run and do it over again.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai faithfully recreates the popular Dragon Ball animated series, giving you the power to fight up to 23 familiar friends and foes in a variety of scenarios. It's not for the weak of thumb, so start out with a little practice, learning the powerful kicks, punches, and elaborate combinations that will lead you to victory. When you’ve mastered the skills, and warmed up your thumbs, jump into the tournament ring and defeat opponents--every victory wins you money to spend at Mr. Popo’s, buying and trading skills to trounce future opponents.

The Story segment of the game may be the most fun for fans, though it diverges from standard gameplay. Where most games have long, elaborate series of gameplay, intercut with story, Dragon Ball Z intercuts very short interactive battles with long animated sequences portraying everything from the Saiyan Saga through to the Cell Games. The animation and voicing in these sequences mirrors the television series and even uses the very same voice actors as the show. Some fans may be disappointed when gameplay ends with the Cell Games--or they may take it as a sure sign that future games will be released to cover the remaining sagas.

Fun? Yes. Flawless? No. There’s not a whole lot under the surface of the sagas--what you see is what you get. And you also might get a little carpal tunnel syndrome along the way--the button-mashing combinations needed to pull off the most awesome moves may not be friendly to fans’ forearms. Still, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai may be a slam dunk for fans of the series who now have the opportunity not just to watch the sagas, but to participate in them. --Maile Bohlmann

4-0 out of 5 stars DragonballZ Again Prevails
Based on the anime series, DragonballZ, "Budokai" is a fighter game that includes 23 Dragon Ball Z warriors. Features include turning Super Saiyan, unlocking, buying, and trading skills. You can also collect 7 dragonballs and "make a wish" which gives you access to all the moves of one character. This can be done as many times as you can keep collecting the 7 dragonballs.

There are several modes in this game. You can either enter the story mode, (which helps you unlock characters) fight in a tournament or even battle against another friend. At first you are given access to the main characters such as Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo. However, these few select characters at the beginning changes quickly as you are able to acquire others such as Freeza, Cell, Hercule, Great Saiyaman, Trunks, Captain Ginyu, Antroid 16, Android 17, Android 18, Android 19, Dodoria, Raditz, Nappa, and Zarbon. However, despite the amount of characters you can play as, (23) there are no characters from the Majin Buu Saga which would include, Goten and Buu. There is also no Android 20 which would've been another great character.

Budokai is a highly recommended game whether you like DragonballZ or are just looking for another 1 on 1 fighting game. This game also has 3D graphics, which takes away from the actual look of what DragonballZ really looks like, but the graphics are still well done.

Colorful, 3D graphics
23 characters to choose from
Story Mode
Tons of skills to learn

Can be too complex to learn all the skills
Game doesn't follow through all the sagas

Other recommendations for great DragonballZ fighter games is:
Budokai 2: (for Playstation2)Even more characters are involved including Fat Buu, Kid Buu, Goten, and all the fusions such as Vegeto. Android 20 is also included. If you have Budokai, you can trade capsules, (skills) between Budokai and Budokai 2. This game is also cell shaded to look more like the anime series.
Ultimate Battle 22: (for Playstation)Great DBZ fighter game
Teiketsu: (for GBA) another DBZ fighter worth a look.

4-0 out of 5 stars YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!
This is the ultimate dragonballz game out there! It has 5 different fighting modes so you can tear other fighters apart!
You can customize your fighter to be the ultimate Z warrior in the world using the skills system. There are 23 playable characters( I have them all), from the saiyan saga(Raditz) to the cell games, and you have the Legendary of Hercules mode which lets you recreate the part about Hercules beating Cell instead of Gohan.(It's pretty funny!). You can use the spirit bomb, Big Bang attack, super kamehameha, and destructo disk. The only 2 flaws are that the moves are the same for every player (except their special moves like Goku's Warp Kamehameha) and there is no Buu saga.(MAAN!)There is also the incredibly cool burst mode. I'm tellin' ya man, this game is off da hook son! Even if ya don;t like DBZ, it's still an awesome fighting game! Move over Tekken!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars "DBZ:BK will leave your fingers aching for days....."
DragonBall Z Budokai for the PSII is probabaly as faithful as a video game based on a absolutely popular Magna and Television series your gonna see from. At first I was a bit weary of about this game because it was made by Artari, who really didn't leave an impression on me with "Driver" [PSX] and the superfied glitch-tastic movie-based game "Enter the Maxtrix." I figured they were gonna rush this game like they did with "ETM" and it was gonna turn out horribly bad, I would be left with a bad game I wasted my money on. But to my humble surprise, this game is Fantastic [for Artari game]. You'll be able to play up to 20 or more characters from the series villains and Hero alike, spanning from Goku to Piccolo, and The sayains to Mighty android Cell. The menus are done quiet nicely. It looks and feels like something from Japan rather and the US. The game has Practice, Story, and Tournament modes to choose from. The story mode is not all that impressive, they could have just stuck with putting cut-scenes from the actual DBZ cartoon but instead they give poorly done 3D cut scenes that are somewhat like the episodes from the series but not at all as impressive. The Tournament mode is probably the hardest mode in the game of all, your opponents will knock you around like a rag doll which means your gonna have to spend a lot of time in the practice mode unless you wanna get beaten down because of your lack of practice. They are sheerly brutal [which is a DBZ trademark]. You also need to learn a lot of combos and tricks if you are to survrive either the Tournament or Story mode, because the further you go into the game the harder it gets despite the short battles. All the characters retain their trademark moves, like Goku's Kamehameha wave and Kaio-ken attack, Piccolo's spical beam cannon, Vegeta's Galick Gun, And freiza's Death beam. To make a long review short, this game is great for fans of DBZ, if your not a fan and dislike DBZ don't bother giving the game a second glance. However, if you are a fan give this game a chance, you'll love it.

5-0 out of 5 stars DBZ Budakai rocks the house
I'm a huge DBZ fan and when i heard that the first dbz game for PS2 came out I begged my mom for it. I didn't get it but my friend has it so I would go over to his house if i got bored and play Dbz budakai. This is the ratings that my friend and i came up with.
Graphics-Grainy 3 and 1/2 stars
Story mode-cool and good clips from episodes 5 stars
tournament mode-best mode of all 5 stars
capsules-sweet attacks and energy waves
characters-different then dbz2 but still good heres a list of them. (5 stars) Android #16 Android #17 Android #18 Android #19 Captain Ginyu Cell Dodoria Frieza Young Gohan Teen Gohan Great Saiyaman Goku Hercule Krillin Nappa Piccolo Raditz Recoome Tien Trunks vegeta Yamcha and Zarbon.
Controls-easy to use 5 stars
special moves- a lot easier then tekken special moves (my opinion) like square, square+foward, triangle, square, circle. instead of tekken's foward, down, foward+down, square, star thingy(I still don't know what the stars are for.) triangle+circle+square. the controls are 5 stars
overall-4.5 stars
I added .5 stars because I love dragon ball Z!

For All Dbz LOVERS !!!
I Never liked Dragonball Z intill i saw this game!!! it is fun great graphics and Can do lots of cool moves. The fusion are Verrry funny and Hercules fusion with goku is verrry funny and cool this game is verry good if you like Dbz or not ... Read more

okay i guess
this game is okay. it definitely could have been much better. the modes and bios and pictures are great, but the gameplay isn't all that good. the fighting is good yes, and the combos are fun to do as well as chalenging. the graphics are excellent for gameboy advance, and the best i've ever seen. the bad things about this game that make it only 3 out of 5 stars are:
1) no challenge whatsoever in unlocking characters, bios or pictures.
2) this game gets VERY boring VERY fast. (it's a good thing i rented it and didn't buy it)
3) it is hard to play on the gamecube gameplayer, which allows you to play GBA games on the big screen
4) attacks do no damage and it takes forever to beat someone. NOT a good game to play on the way to a restaurant or something because it takes so darn long
5) to hard to fly and you have to do a "burst mode" while flying. you can't kick and punch normally in the air
any fan of DBZ or budokai 1/2 should try out this game, BUT take my advice and rent this game before buying it

OK I love DBZ. It is 1 of the best anime/manga/game series/national phenomenons ever. But this game SUCKS!!!!!!! I thought it would live up to the status of the Budokai series or Legacy of Goku 2, but it didn't. It gives you no idea how to use special attacks, and the character voices are awful. So, don't get it, I repeat DON'T GET IT! Spend your money DBZ Supersonic Warriors, Legacy of Goku 2, or Budokai 2.

Good game except.......
This is probably the best GBA game out yet,but one thing. Its too much of the same thing!!!All you do is fight fight and fight!!!!Its a little like tekken advance but this has more of diffrent things to unlock like settings mode bios images and music. After you unlock every character and thats it.Im not saying its bad, but I wwonder if you should really buy it.

2-0 out of 5 stars Big stinker!!
its a on OK game but controls can me better and gaphics are a little wierd but it is a real advice is unless your a really big fan of DBZ don't get it

a dissapointment
Keep in mind that I am a fan of the show and own 4 sagas, but this game was awful. Combos are unrealisticaly hard hard, like one is down, down, right, right, left, left, down, down, right, right, left, left, punch, punch (something like that anyway). Also, you only power up when do an attack. The game is short and repetitive. The unlocking characters are dull because there all pretty much the same anyway. I would seriosly advise the legacy of goku over this pice of junk. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Better than the first Budokai
Budokai 2 will be a major improvement over #1. It will have 11 new fighters:Goten, Kid Trunks, Teen Gohan, Videl, Majin Vegeta, Supreme Kai, Dabura, Android 20, and the 3 forms of Buu. The game will also have fusion skills you can get from the Skills Shop. Some fusions won't be from the show, like Tiencha(Tien, and Yamcha). Goku with Hercule is another example. The graphics will also have cel-shading done, to give it an animated look. The story mode will go through the Buu saga. There will also be a new mode of play, called, Dragon Mode. In this mode your team will try to locate the Dragonballs, before the team of computers do. I definitely recommend this game to all DBZ fans.

When I first got this game I was so excited.I played Dragon World at first it SUCKED!!!!!!!I mean It was a board game and the players were all cardboard exept for Goku. You have to kill people 1-5 times or more. Why do you have to kill them that much times.I mean I could Understand Cell and Majin Buu.(all stages) but Raditz and Nappa give me a break. You have nine tasks to fuffil. The characters are great, but the fusions arn't that great Gotenks and Vegito are all right. The fusions that bother me are Tiencha,(Tien and Yamcha)Gokule,(Goku and Hercule)and the guy that Supreme Kai and Kabito make. The characters are Vegeta,Goku,Trunks,Gohan,Teen Gohan,Gotenks, kid Trunks,Videl,Supreme Kai,Nappa,Raditz,Freiza,Cell,Recoome,Captain Ginuy,Dabura,Majin Buu,Super Buu,Kid Buu,Majin Vegeta,(after you get a skill capsule)and Mecha Frieza.(after you obtain Freiza's Spaceship)

5-0 out of 5 stars Dragon ball z for the PS2!!!!!!

27. kid buu (see # 26)
31.vegito (fussion between tein and yamcha.)
33.gokuloco (Fussion between Hercule and goku.
That's all of them i think. If you having problems finnding the Dragonballs sellect your character on the map . then press the square button, an random item will appear , it might be a dragon ball or a capsule or some money. I found all seven balls on the maps. Note: you can't find the dragonballs on kid buu's stage.
The dragon is the only way to get break throughs.
A good capsul is geros plertitual energy, your kai remains at max and never geose down. the draw back is you can't transform.
Here's all the people that can transform:
1.Goku (Kaio ken x20,super saayian 1,2,3)
2.trunks (s.s 1, 2
kid trunks
5.vegeta (ss 1,2, majin vegeta)
7.teen gohan
8. gohan

1-0 out of 5 stars You should know this before buying.
Overall, I though this game was horible. I thought it would go though the story like in the first Budokai. But I was mistaken. Now i knew , like most of you, that the story mode was replaced by a board game type thing, What i didn't know, however, is that the story was completely screwed up. For instance, on the first chapter i guess you would call it, Nappa and Raditz are on Earth at the same time. Then you don't even see Vegeta untill you are on Namek. Another downside about the board game thing is that it is really easy to miss an ability capsule. I missed the super saiyan capsule early in the game so I couldn't use the ss2 or ss3 capsules. You can miss these by simply not beating an opponent on the board. There are some good things though. Like the fusions such as gotenks and vegito. and the tournaments are some what fun. But it still doesnt make up for the crappy board game and huge story flaws. I don't recall Goku fighting Saibamen and Kid Buu at the same time. If your willing to go though all the crap too unlock all the good stuff, then its an ok game. If you a diehard fan you'll most likely be greatly disappointed.

If u r a fan of the show ull love the game. becauase u get to do the sickest moves and go ss.3 !! and fusion! and u can be Buu! its a lil tuff though, its fun to face ur friends in duel mode. buy,it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars One Great Game
This is one of the best games, and dont stop reading just because other people say the same thing. This is a great, and strategiclly a big step for the GBA System. One great thing is that the things likes graphics are really good because they had the time to make them good because the game isnt like an rpg. Let me tell you about the actual game now. One major reason i got this game is because i thought it would be a mix between an rpg and a CCG, but i was deffinately wrong, which isnt exactly a bad thing. I have never played this game in real life making it a bit hard to pick up at first, but its like riding a bike you dont forget what to do, and its easy to learn WHAT to do. There is not walking around, but is rather like mortal combat in the way you progress, almost exactly. ou go from level to level up to five which is cell, and hes a wench, let me tell you. Great game card wise, you can choose out of four players in the beggining, goku, gohan, freiza, garlicJR. You get others by beating the game with one person, then you unlock another. You play exactly like the card game, but its better because it has infinate possibilities. The main reason i got this is because you can keep playing and playing and not get bored because there are many diff. card possibilities. Great game i highly recommend it, fact is im going to go play it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Step learning curve, a good game, but plays very slow
Never having played this game before, I was very dissappointed by the instruction manuel which helped not at all. Fortunately there is an on line rule book that helps alot...I kept at it and finally it all came together, and I started enjoying myself. This is a good game with a good strategic element. The major down side is the very slow game play. The machine takes forever to do anything and as a result, a typical game takes about 45min. Also, it would have been nice had the interface been designed to allow you to easily view the opponents cards that are being played, as it stands, you have to go though several screens to get to the information.

2-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy
I gave this game a star for every second it's fun. This game has so many errors in it. First off all the text phrases, "if successful," and "if you declared a tokui-waza," are completely ignored. Secondly, the game was not upto date with the CRD at the time the game was made, so you can put in all the cheap cards you want and make an nearly unbeatable deck, making the game incredibly easy. Thirdly, all cards form all sagas are not included, so you have 1/3 the cards that you should. Also, the whole layout for this game is hard to follow. If you plan on purchasing the Legacy of Goku, instead don't. I beat the game in just over 2 hours, it's a real disappointment.

my re review
this game i still rate it good because bottom line its a good game the graphics are great but its hard i went through the tuturial and it still seemed that much harder but after playing against the first person i got how to play (dont read the manual it doesnt help it just wast time and confuses you)i still havent got to the 2nd level but i beet the 1st guy
if you are on a short trip i recomend not getting into more than 1 round they are kinda long if on a long trip just play till your about there and than finish the mach or play till your bored of it then i recomend the legacy of Goku

1-0 out of 5 stars Pure Boring
When i played the legacy of Goku i thought no game in the world could be worse than it. Butt when i played this game i found myself wrong. The music is baaaaad. The most boring music ever!! It is a very cheap and boring game. Plus it is confusing. At the begining i didnt know what the heck i was doing. Caution this game sucksss! ... Read more
