Fun for kids...not for parent
My 4 y.o. absolutely loves this castle. Yes, the 2 pink "turrets" that hold the crown and balloon merely set on top of the castle and do fall off (double side tape or velcro fixes this), and the pink curtain/shelf above the yellow stairs falls off with little pressure. But my daughter doesn't seem to mind. I haven't really had any other problems other than what I've mentioned. If you are giving it as a gift, I would suggest putting it together before hand as there are DOZENS of small star and heart stickers that took me forever to apply. Otherwise, I just have to keep reminding myself who this toy is really for.....my child who seems to love it despite its flaws.

not worth the money or time
My daughter just turned 4 and loves my little Ponies. She got this as a gift (despite the reviews) and hasn't played with it since we put it together, which was time consuming oh and the stickers, c'mon why aren't they prelabeled? She takes her ponies and plays with them in her durable doll house.
Something on this castle falls apart as soon as you touch it. It's a cute idea, just very poorly made.

This toy is crap!
My 3 yo has been dying for this castle for her ponies...we used it as major bribe for potty training...We opened up and went through the nightmarish installation process...could you add any more stickers? But the worst part is that the whole thing falls apart constantly! The stupid balloon landing turrets on the top have NO attachment so they fall off when you barely bump it or try to play...the elevator sticks...the frames around the windows fall off...the balloon falls apart...the front walkway and back staircase fall off...the spinning dance floor covers up the door music heart so you cannot operate the music with the dance floor on...the dance floor does not work in the turrets as stated since it is just too awkward to spin...the crown will not stay together...I should have read the reviews on toysrus.com before buying it since any were bad, but I never dreamed it would be so bad...Does Hasbro care nothing about who they are creating these toys for? My daughter loves her ponies and I have had fun collecting them for her...it is sad that the castle is such a disgrace...but my Daughter is happy to have it, would cry if I returned it and I guess I will have to glue down as many of the pieces as I can...(...)

This Toy is tons of Fun for Pony Lovers
Okay I have read all the other reviews, and much of it is true, it was a pain to put on all the stickers, the elevator doesn't move very well, and you are better off if you glue on some of the pieces, and definitely pitch the crown thing. But all that being said, I am so glad that Santa brought this for my daughter. She is still playing with it almost daily. And nothing has broken either. Yes some things needed to be glued on to stay but big deal, they didn't break they just came off and after a little super glue they are fine. The castle is so much fun, the way it plays music and lights up when a pony crosses the entrance is great. And I think the baby pony was the highlight of Christmas for my daughter. So my point is, yes it is a bit of a pain to set up for parents, but not as bad as some make it sound and it is worht it. Also save your pony-points (www.mylittlepony.com) and send for the mat of Ponyville. It has a spot for the castle, the cafe and the salon, it is really cute. We have the whole thing set up on her playtable (a train table basically)

Pony Castle Fun but work!
We bought this for our daughter for Christmas shortly after her 3rd birthday. Assembly was a nightmare, there must be a million stickers to put on. The water fountain/pool that goes under the bridge falls off constantly as do all the other little parts that are not permanently attached. I think they do this so you can fold it away but even with the parts detached it doesn't fold well. The upper parts for the crown and hot air baloon come off at the slightest jerk of a young child playing which makes our daughter a little upset when she has a plan for the ponies to fly off in the baloon and the pieces have fallen on the floor several times. The crown is completely unusable, it doesn't fit well on the castle and comes apart when worn.
All in all though, this has been a huge hit with my daughter who has nearly EVERY pony. She plays with it often and we got the "map" of ponyville (available through the mfg with "pony points") which shows where the castle, salon and cafe are to go and we play ponies for hours. Great for a horse or animal enthusiast
My 4-year old daughter got this 8 months ago and it is a winner. The two compartments, many doors, storage areas and folding fence give her all she needs to make her space for her many horses and other animals. It gets used every day and nothing has broken.

Worth the money
This play barn is exactly what I was looking for for my 4 year old son who is a Horse enthusiast. It is much bigger than I expected, beautiful, and has lots of opening doors and gates. It also comes with a fence that folds up and stores neatly in the barn. This barn is big enough for Breyer horses, and has an a swing out side. It was a great purchase and highly recommended.

Nice barn for toy horses
Just got this item today and I am impressed with it's compatibility for various sizes of toy horses. I especially love the fact that it can be folded up to a smaller size to be tucked into a closet when needed.

This barn has multiple doors that open-some slide and other's are dutch doors. We do have another barn of this type that has the dutch doors and the hinge's fell apart right away. I am hoping this one will be better since the doors do seem to open and close more smoothly on this particular barn...but need to stress that the kids need to be somewhat 'gentle' with these dutch doors so they don't break the hinges. The manufacturer really should attach them with metal hinges and they would last alot longer.

The perfect game for any horse lover!
When I recieved this game as a Christmas present five years ago, my parents did not realize how much I would love playing it! For a horse crazy girl, it was the perfect gift. The idea of being a beautiful, wild mustang fighting to reach safety in a race against other stallions and obstacles was enchanting. Along the way, the player has to build their own herd by collecting unique picture cards of various horses. The cards inform on the horse's breed and personality, including information that is educational and interesting. The two alternative games are also fun to play. All in all, the game's colorful format and imaginative appeal make it a guaranteed favorite for any horse lover!

Great Game!!! Worth your money!!
I bought this game for my 8 year old neice in November last year. It was a big hit!! This game is so great. There are 3 ways to play it. The horse cards are beautifully illustrated and have lots of great facts about each horse on them. This game is so much fun for the whole family. In fact, I think I'm going to buy it for my 5 year old son. Every time we visit my neice, that's all he wants to play. It's a really fun game and a MUST for any horse lover.

A wonderful toy that grows with your child!
My daughter got this toy when she was about 9 months old. She turned it around backwards and held onto the handles to learn how to walk. She would squeal with delight and do laps around our house. She was able to swing the horse around and go in another direction if she got stuck in a corner. She is now 2 1/2 and races the horse all over the house and outside. This is a great toy that was worth every penny!

a great, classic toy
Before my daughter could walk, she could bang enthusiastically around the house on this horse. "Horse" naturally became one of her first words. At 15 months, it remains her favorite toy.

Kids really love this one!
Really cute and classic looking. Both of my children loved this toy. Our children have had plenty of use out of it. Only downfall is the handles won't stay on the horse. We had to replace them for the second child. But other than that it is a nice toy.

Handle grip broke after 2 yrs but....
A great toy. Lots of fun time spent riding on our hardwood floors. But when 2nd child started to use the 2 yr old toy the handles broke. Radio Flyer is replacing them for a 3$charge.

A walking tool
My son received this before he began walking. It literally helped him learn balance and how to walk. He's now almost 19 mos. and zooms through the house pushing it from the head. He does also ride on it occasionally. I've found it to be very sturdy; we've never had a problem with it flipping over. We just have to watch that he doesn't "ram" into furniture and walls. He's learned to "steer" it and avoid the walls and has done very well. He loves it. ... Read more

Rockin'!
Although it's supposed to be for three years and up, I bought it for my daughter's first birthday. I figured that we could have fun with it anyway. I couldn't have been more right. From the moment she saw it, she only wanted to play on the horse. Initially it started with me putting her on the horse and helping her rock, however within a few months she was climbing up and down and rocking on her own. L:ittle Red Stable
This a totally fun toy, it is so much fun to play with abd pretend that you have your own stable. It is very durable although the horses legs are easliy bent, It is a very educational toy becasue it teaches you what you need to have happy and healthy horses.

FUN FUN FUN
My mom got this for me and I have been playing with it ever since! I collect stablemates and I think whoever collects them should get this barn!

Cute, but only suitable for display
My daughter (aged 5 when she received this item, now turning 7) loves the Breyer horses and the Little Red Stable. Unfortunately Breyer is to look at, not play with. The horses do not stand well and several have suffered broken legs. The Stable is made of a very thin, almost brittle, plastic. My daughter is not rough with her toys, and though she enjoys playing with the set, the broken horses and sharp plastic are a put-off. I wouldn't recommend this for enthusiastic play or for portable entertainment.

RATE HORSE STABLE SET
I THOUGHT THAT THE HORSE STABLE WAS VERY CUTE AND MY SON LOVES HORSES. HE THOUGHT THAT IT WAS GREAT FOR ALL HIS HORSES TOO STAY IN. HE COULD PUT SOME IN THERE TO TRAVEL WITH WHERE EVER HE GOES. I THINK THIS IS A GREAT TOY FOR ANY CHILD WHO LOVES HORSES.

Best Toy Ever!
My husband and I bought the Pink Pony for our friends' daughter's first birthday. Not being parents ourselves, we weren't sure if it was safe or fun enough for a one year-old's gift, but it was perfect! Her face lit up and she got right on it. She mostly scoots on the pony, rather than rocking on it. It's been a year now, and I hear she still loves it!

Honestly, it was just so cute that I couldn't pass it by. It's very small in reality -- just the right size for a little tyke to saddle up on.

Daughter loves it but not made for the ages recommended.
My daughter got this toy for her 1st birthday. We tried it out at Toys R Us before buying it. She LOVES rocking on it more than pushing around on it. Though she does like other people pushing her. The problem is, at 20 months old, she loves rocking on it so much that she flips it over regularly, causing her to go flying forward. (into the pillows strategically placed after the first time this happened). Now my child is a bit bigger than average and a dare devil, but be warned your child will be lucky to be able to use it to 2 years old. It is a great toy while it lasts and it is very durable, I'd just like to know who makes these recommended ages for use.

It rocks....
My 12 month old daughter received it as a gift for her first birthday....i thought she might be too young to sit on it but she does just fine. She loves riding on it more than the rocking.Since the base is so close to the ground there is not too much of a rocking motion. But nevertheless it is still fun. Little Herd, Grand Fun
Hello, I am a proud owner of this little herd. I think these toys are very fun and educational because you can care for them , walk,trot,canter(slope) and even gallop them! I don't think these toys deserved 5 stares on durablity because one of my horses tail chiped. These are also very fun to play with if you have more StableMates to add to this herd! Because of how my horse chipped (and my freinds horses leg broke) I would'nt recamend giving these horses to cildren under 3 (the leg or any part of the horses body could break and be swallowed) or anyone who might play ruffly with there toys. These horses make great little aditions to any breyer collection.

This is a really good solid set with really pretty pony's.Personally I had a little trouble with standing up the grey thouroughbred mare,also, breyer reuses their molds so now I have many more than one mold in my herd.

This is a great ride on toy!
This toy is wonderful! I don't have anything bad to say about it except that we have noticed after an evening of playing with it that it is starting to ride crooked. It no longer rides in a straight line. My daughter is 11 months and she absolutely loves it. Evertime the music plays she starts rocking and making the dalmation rock. I love the fact that you can put the wheels up for rocking play and bring them down for rolling play. My husband and I take turns pushing her back and forth. A great toy for kids

Dandi Indeed!
We purchased a variety of twin pack Dandi Little Horses as favors for a Birthday party. They were an instant hit with the children who ranged in age from 3years to 13 years. The expressions on the ponies' faces, the bright colors of the Indian blankets and moreover the meticulous markings on the horses themselves make these more than playtoys, they qualify as collector's items. The colors on the coats of these horses are true to life and the texture of their velvety coats and manes are made for touching and petting. Unlike some cheap flocking glued over plastic that is easily rubbed off, these velvet coats are dense and believable and don't rub off.
