Editorial Review

The most exciting parts of the Star Wars movies are the fantastic lightsaber duels. Now you can create your own excitement at home--though you’ll also have to create your own cool sound effects--with this plastic version of the space-age weapon. The black and silver plastic handle measures 10 inches long and offers enough ridges and bulk for small hands to keep a decent grip, although two hands may make for more genuine play. Hold down the red button near the top of the handle and give your wrist a quick downward thrust to extend the plastic red "beam." Once extended, it does a pretty good job of staying in place and should provide plenty of combatant oomph. Simply push on the top of the beam to maneuver it back into the handle, and then push the red button again to lock it in place. When extended, the lightsaber measures 30 inches long. A clip on one end makes it easy to carry on the waist. May the Force be with you, young Jedis. --Pam Lauer ... Read more

Best Star Wars Creation Yet
This is the best Lightsaber I have ever seen. You can use it for months and it won't break, even with extreme fighting. I haven't hit the year mark yet, but soon... Great for Role-playing. Works especially well for those into the Jedi Knight video games as red can be used for Jerec, Yun, and Good Kyle. Green can be used for Kyle and Qu Rahn. And then there is blue for Outcast Kyle. Of course, red makes a good Vader Lightsaber. Green is also good for Luke. Anyway, I have even used mine for waking some odd plants in the backyard, not a scratch has been seen to this date on the blade, but the handle is battle scarred (paint missing, no dents). Green is also good for the green saber used by Anakin to fight Tyranus/Dooku, and also, you can be Yoda. Here's another idea, get to reds, tape the together (better yet, it you know someone who can, melt then together) and have a very dark looking Darth Maul Lightsaber. With this locking Lightsaber, with its cool clip, technology and your imagination is the limit!

May the Force be with you...

P.S. Star a Jedi Council, too! Or a Sith one, and sabotage the Jedi ones... Heheheh...

One of the best toy ever
This lightsaber is so cool. You can pretend your Darth Vader (Darth Vader is my fave sith in episode 3-6) or Dath Tryonis with a staght saber.
I have other sabers but thay dont go in all the way in to the hilt but my green one does. I allmost have all the lightsaber collers except for purple. I need to get a Basic Blue lightsaber for Anakin or Obiwan. Go buy this lightsaber today.

Father to son training tool
My son and I broke the other luminescent ones within minutes. They weren't designed for the abuse we would put them through. My five year old son and I like to fight like Jedi, and I mean really fight like Jedi. So the product had to not only look authentic, but hold up to our pounding away. We stay safe about it, but we needed toys that could really take it and continue on for hours of more fun. These lightsabers pass with flying colors in every way. Simple. Fun. Authentic. Durable. We bought one for every family member to wear on their belt. We've even staged some fight scenes in the theater lobby waiting for Ep. II to start. Fathers, get these lightsabers and start training your young Padawans.

100% for all starwars fans
this lightsaber has everything!!! 100%imagination,100%fun and 25% education!!!now the only thing missing is light and sounds and action! think you can do the rest??? now add the force!!! its that simple!!! think you can be the ultimate sith lord? get this lightsaber to find out!!! first beat the jedi knights, then practice using your saber, then try to use the force!!!if your a starwars fan then this is the toy 4 u!!!

not too shabby!
This toy is extremly amazing. It makes you feel like a real jedi or sith. Great for a collection and even greater for an imagination. There is no sounds, (which is good, because they can get annoying) there is no lights, (batteries do make things heavier!) but, it goes fully into the handle and can hang of your belt. For all you young and old jedi this saber will give you all you need to feel like a warrior!

Fun, but not as good as the older ones
I own 6 of these electronic lightsabers. I just recently bought this green Luke Skywalker one for my son. It seems as if they make a different set of toy electronic lightsabers each year. This time, they extended the blade about 6 inches over the length of the ones from last year, and used a thinner plastic for the blade.

I know that you're not supposed to duel with them, but the new one cannot even come close to holding up like the old ones. I duel all the time with my kids. This new one is already bending when clashed... I would recommend hunting down an older one like Obi-wan's, Anakins, or Count Dooko's.. I can verify that those three are especially strong and are duel-worthy and have worked perfectly through 4 sets of batteries so far.

good
this is the best do not bang too hard with

I LOVE it!!
This is a great toy. I'll give it a four on "how much fun is this toy" because it dosn't have a belt clip which stinks.I gave it a one on education 'cause if you want to learn how to put batteries inside a plastic tube, then be my guest. The reason I gave it four stars on durabilty is because after a few battles, it starts to get a few scratches, but nothing big. All in all, this is a great toy and "buy it you shall." ... Read more

Died for no reason
We bought our son two of these lightsabers for Christmas. By February, one of them no longer worked. We tried new batteries, etc., and nothing got it going. We figured it must have taken a rough hit. Then the lightsabers sat in a drawer for a month (nobody ever wanted to fight using the broken one). When my son got them back out, in March, the second lightsaber was also broken. This time we knew our son hadn't done anything to it because it hadn't even been used! Within a few months they both just died for no reason. ... Read more

Mace Windu's Lightsaber
This lightsaber is an extremely fun toy. The blade is nice and bright at night, it is very durable, and it the noises are accurate and only go of when you hit it. Some other knockoff brands don't work that well, but this one sure does. Te handle is easy to grip and the weight is just right so you can swing fast. My friends and I have had a lot of fun with lightsabers and this is one of the best. I strongly recommend you purchase this item.

BALLER LIGHTSABER
WELL MY FAVORITE JEDI WAS MACE WINDU SO I WAITED FOR HIS SABER TO COME OUT TO STORES AND WHEN IT DID I WAS EXCITED. I REALLY COULDNT CARE LESS IF THE HANDLE IS FROM PHANTOM MENACE CAUSE IF YOU LOOK AT HIS REAL HANDLE ITS WAY TO COMPLICATED TO MAKE.
THIS SABER HAS GREAT DURIBILITY COSIDERING THAT I ALWAYS DUEL WHEN I CAN. I HAVE NOTICED THAT THESE ITEMS ARE NOT VERY COMMON IN STORES SO IF YOU REALLY WANT IT THAN GET IT QUICKLY CAUSE THEY GO FAST. IN GENERAL THIS IS ONE OF THE BETTER LIGHTSABERS MADE! 8-)

purple lightsaber
This is the purple lightsaber that everyone wants. I just got mine and it is a nice one. The grip is nice and it looks amazing in the dark. My only advice is to get your hands on it while you can. It seems they only distribute one per each box of lightsabers and these are in very high demand. Any Star Wars fan would love this lightsaber in their collection.

straight up ausome
my friend and i are avid lightsaber fighters and between us have all of them. this is definitly the best. the grip is perfect, just the right size and easy tohold. the weight is centered in the handle so its a very quick blade. one handed fighting is also extremely easy because of how the girp is designed. if you are at all interested in lightsaber fighting get this one now. the only thing i can think of thats a dreawback is that its not the handel from ep2, but its still one of the coolest looking handles in the collection

This is One of the best electronic lightsabers ever!!!
This is a fun lightsaber to play with because 1. It lights up
2.Battle Clash noises
3.Energy hum
And also the handle is straight so it is much easier to hold than the anakin lightsaber and count dooku ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Queen Amadala costume is beautiful but painful!
The gown itself is luxurious and well-made. My granddaughter wore hers for Halloween and plays in it often. The headpiece is another story. It is Huge! The child's father (six foot 2inch and 200 pounds) found that it was too big for him and would not stay on his head. When we finally got her to hold it on her head long enough for the costume contest, the pointed plastic piece on the bridge of the nose caused great plain so we glued cotton balls on it but they did not stay. The very top of the headpiece was crushed slightly when it arrived--thus the low durability rating. Overall, the child loved the costume and hated the headpiece while Grandma thought it was a bit pricey! (But she was the most beautiful child in the contest -- even though she did not win!) ...
