The Clock People work all day and all night, to keep the tower turning, running. Yellow faded glasses strapped to their heads with leather bands, dirty overalls, dirty jackets, all brown with dust. They hammer and pound pins into cogs to keep the time from stopping. The clocks face glows, illuminates the town beneath it, but it's dark as night on the inside; dark and dusty. The Clock People have lanterns. ... Read more

Its also got quite a few modes and the create a character is a good alternative. It takes time to master which is good because after all it would be boring if it were too easy (erm...muttering under my breath SMACKDOWN!!!!) If you are looking for a more technical game that requires patience and talent (and blood) go for this.......but if you are crap at REAL fighting games (erm.... like smackdown) you woundn't have the skill to play this. Buy it and see for yourself....
The fighters are mostly middleweights. None of the UFC greats are in this game. Frank Shamrock& Guy Mezger are the top two. The created fighter feature was a nice addition. The music is pretty good. I often found myself turning this game off, in frustration, because of the lack of control there is in this game. ... Read more

Thats the closest to a compliment I can give for this waste of putrid... [feces](dooke)that electronic arts has deemed a video game!
Basically all you did was create a new non-matching-outfit-having wrestler with someone else's moves. Bad. Very bad. So bad that's why WWF Warzone never did that type of Create a Wrestler ever again. And not saying that WWF Attitude was the heart stopping game that it was supposed to be, but at least they learned their lesson and never did that type of Create a Wrestler option. The grappling totally ate. I was basically kicking, punching and occassionally jumping off the top rope in an attempt to win. I could not get the grapping. It was seriously that bad. Every now and then, I'd pull off a little something, but after that one time, I could never replicate the move. Again another G- for effort (the grading was so low that I couldn't even give it an F because it was that bad). I wouldn't waste time or money on this title. I still think the better N64 wrestling game was WCW/NWO or WCW Revenge. If you really want to play this bad attempt, then go ahead but I won't be responsible when after you play it, realize that it WAS THAT BAD and throw it out the window.
Conclusion: Wcw is not worth the time and money you spend on it to Rent it Much less buy it.

Amazon.com Review Pitfall is a 2-D side-scrolling adventure in which Harry Jr. ison a mission in the South American jungle to recover artifacts, gold, treasure, his pop, and other goodies. There must have been an explosionin a major cache somewhere, because this stuff is sitting in trees, onthe ground, and in subterranean locations. Harry and Harry Jr. likelymugged Indiana Jones because they're wearing his outfit and his whip. They also find lots of snakes and go on a mine car ride in this game. But the lack of originality doesn't matter that much because thegameplay offers pretty good stuff overall. Harry Jr. must run and jumpover quicksand and the gaping maws of crocodiles, swing on vines, climbropes, and fight chattering skeletons and chittering monkey foes in hisquest. He's also got to solve a few puzzles along the way. While the graphics are enhanced in 32-bit finery for the Game BoyAdvance screen, the details and colors are muddy, making it hard toappreciate the lush environments. Seeing where you're going and whatyou're grabbing can be difficult, even with perfect lighting. Also, thegame suffers from repetition and a lack of inspiration. There's only somuch Harry Jr. can do, and you'll find him doing it a lot, over andover. Still, Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure is a worthwhile rompon the handheld even if it is outshined a bit by other, cleaner-lookinglaunch titles. --Andrew S. Bub Pros: Reviews (31)

Amazon.com Review Surprisingly, the gameplay adds a few twists to the standard paradigm, includinga draft meter, which can be used to determine the best time to pass other cars. The concept of drafting has been used in previous racing games; here, however, players actually can tell how much speed they're gaining from friends in frontof them. Also helpful is a break meter that tells players what percentage ofbreaking power they're using, and the game gives advice on how much breakingshould be done in specific turns. The best part about NASCAR Heat is its collection of challenges, whichare prefaced by video tutorials. About the only place in which this game failsis the graphics and sound department. The grainy cars and tracks, along with alack of music during races, detract from the overall experience. Also, don'texpect any mind-boggling crashes. --Robb Guido Pros: Reviews (12)
What i love about NASCAR Heat is the two inventive new gameplay options, Beat the Heat mode, which challenges you to beat a preset time or position during 36 individual mini-scenarios, and a Race the Pro option, in which you try to beat a ghost car lap established by a real-life NASCAR ace, are both marvelously entertaining additions to the standard racing fare. Each of these addictive scenario-based modes also feature some highly polished introduction sequences from Speedvision's Allen Bestwick and a number of top Winston Cup drivers. I would I recommend NASCAR Heat to any fan of the sport, or motorgames.
Probably the fact I am such a big fan makes it hard for me to feel any NASCAR game is bad, so I have to say overall this game is fun. I like the fact damage effects your car differently on short-tracks and super-speedways. I like being able to change the stiffness of the shocks and the gear ratios. I'm happy with the drafting element as well. Many aspects of the game are well above acceptable, which actually makes the not-so-great aspects sting worse. The attempt at trying to mimick the change of speed on new & older tires is clicheic at best. You are twice as fast as all other cars on new tires, and after 2 laps or so it goes away suddenly. There are no yellow flags. If you get loose & loop it, or even if you hit the wall, another car, or several cars, everybody keeps right on racing. Damage doesn't exist on the AI cars, or the effect it has on their performance anyway. I'll wrap it up with my biggest complaint, the pits. Well, pitting in general. Although speed is reduced, if you pit just ahead of another car & complete your stop as he's coming down pit road he'll crash right into the rear of your car...every time, (ruining any chance of winning on a big track in the very first pit stop.) The only answer is to try to get off sequence, (which is kinda fun I admit.) It doesn't stop on pit road though...now that you're off sequence and have avoided getting hit on pit road, the cars that just pitted come barrelling right for you now that they are on new tires. The AI cars make little attempt to avoid you if you are in the racing line, (all the time on an oval,) and there goes your race...again. A last note...I basically maxed out the competition level menu the first time I played. (Don't get me wrong, I CAN play) There are maybe 4 or 5 levels and I have to race on the second to highest just to have any sort of competition. If you love NASCAR this is a good game to have, not the best from a racing game standpoint hoewever.
The Damage graphics barely work, with the feature turned on,you'd swear there off...and when you make turns ocasionally you'll go into an uncontrollable spin,I know I didn't make that sharp of a turn...and it's hard to get back on the track... Well...if you're a nascar game collector, pick this one up,if you want extreme fun...look elsewhere...

Amazon.com Review Your ship sometimes blocks your sightline as you shoot, and it'sextremely difficult to accurately gauge distance and depth perception. Is that a small enemy that's close to my ship (maybe even about tocollide with it), or is it a large one that's farther away? Are theyshooting at me or are those "shots" actually distant ships? Are thoseenemies or part of the tunnel scenery? Another problem is the jerkycontrol. If you're flying through a tunnel trying to kill the bad guys, you should be able to literally fly in circles. With the Game BoyAdvance directional pad, squares are about all you can manage. At least the game is extremely pretty to look at. Iridion 3Dboasts one of the best graphics engines available for the Game BoyAdvance, and considering the competition, that's no idle compliment.Progressing through the stages and worlds one is bombarded withbeautiful scenery almost as much as enemy fire. Yes, the game looks spectacular, and it will partially appease arcadeshooter fans waiting for Game Boy Advance conversions of classics suchas R-Type and the aforementioned coin-ops. It's just tooimportant to see what you're doing in a game of this type to recommendthe title to anyone but the most hard-core fans of the genre.--Andrew S. Bub Pros: Reviews (55)
A giant piece of CRAP! Pros: Cons: You cant save you have to get past a point in the game to get a password to wright down and type in every time thats kinda bad It takes like 3mins to die and you have to start the level all over again. Theres NOTHING to do in it i mean all you do is press left and right and the A button thats right nothing else they could have at least used more than three controls. And also all you do is move left and right and shoot a simple things like garabage or some fan that is somehow floating in the middle of no where. And lastly, its hard to hard it can take you awhile to just beat a level thats frustarting! Over all sound and graphics dont make a game what it is so this game sucks dont get it inless you wish to be tourted itll save you 20 bucks to! So if i could give it 0 stars i would. Its a waste of space just to own
Gameplay 1/10: The game play is painfully bad. There is no saveing system you have to wright down a 'password' witch you get after beating a boss at the end of the level and of course in bad taste loseing to the boss causes you start all over. Also the game is incredibly difficult often takeing 10 or more trys to beat the first level!! Also you have no enemys really in the first level you shoot at spinning dots that change colors what the heck is that!!?? It takes about 2 mintues to die and start all over, gahhh! Graphics/Music: 8/10 The music is pretty dang annoying but the graphics are very good especcialy for a gameboy. Of course the graphics are dark makeing it hard to see alot of times wow another mistake but theres no surprises there Fun factor: 0/10 Yes the dreaded zero. Why do i give it zero, well its not a fun game at all not one bit. It feels like you are forceing your self to play it and since its so hard if you want to beat it youll be throwing it at your wall and screaming "Why the heck did i waste my money on THIS!" No wonder it comes free when you buy game boy advances.... Anyone who plays this most likely is forceing them selves to do it or are programers forced to play it. Storyline: 3/10 The story line is pitiful but at least they tried. And its best jet fighter games dont have storylines no matter what. If its a airplaine fight game its goona suck in the storyline department so dont hold it against the makers. All in all I think this game is painfully bad and the only good thing about it is its graphics witch simply do not make up a game. I cant believe any company made this much less nintendo. Dont waste your money on this spend it on something else theres so many better games then this, this flaming piece of crap!
In short for the skimmers, I'm having more fun writing this review than I did playing the game. The story of the game goes something like this: Show picture of city Yes, that is literally how the introduction cinematic plays out, scene by scene. But before you see that, you watch 20 seconds of logos by the companies that made the game (they are non-skippable of course). After that you are given a menu with a couple of options: Start Yes, that's right, the game has no memory at all. It doesn't save your options settings, and it doesn't save your progress in the levels. When you complete a level you are given a 9 digit code to write down in order to start the game from that level in the future. Amazingly, when you turn the game off and on again, that code still works, so it is obviously hard-coded into the game. But who is going to carry around a pad of paper with them so they can "save" and "load" their game? This may have been acceptable back in the days of the NES when you sat at home and could actually write down numbers, but the GBA is a portable game machine. So after you press start or enter your password to start where you left off, you enter a level. The level names are quite creative... here are a few of them: Dogfight above the Ocean Yes, those are the real names of the levels. I think they fit in nicely with the storyline, don't you? Upon entering a level, you begin moving forwards through the tunnel or over the ocean or above the clouds. You hold down the A button to start shooting, then you move up, down, left and right randomly. Repeat until you finish the game. By holding the A button down, you reach the maximum firing rate of your ship. You don't even have to tap the shoot button really fast to shoot faster. Just holding down the A button is as fast as you can get. Then you move around, trying not to get shot by the other ships. The only problem with this is, your ship is so big and the angle so wrong, you can't even see the bullets that are coming at you half the time. In order to shoot an enemy ship, you have to position your own ship directly in front of them because of the perspective of the game, but in doing this, you completely block the enemy ship out of view and can't tell if you are hitting him or not, or if he is shooting at you. After 30 seconds of this, you quickly realize that it isn't worth it to try and shoot the other ships, so you just start hiding in a corner of the screen so you can actually see the bullets before they hit you. However, this raises another problem. The field of depth in the game is completely wrong, and it is quite nearly impossible to tell when a bullet is about to hit you. When a bullet looks it is 300 "game feet" away from you, it is actually about 2 feet in front of your ship, and is about to hit you. Plus because your ship is so big, you don't even see half the bullets before they hit you. Needless to say, this all makes the game terribly unfun to play, because you really have no way of avoiding a bullet that you can't see, or that looks like it should not hit you for another 2 seconds. The boss battles are a little more varied, but still revolve around you trying to dodge their bullets while strafing back and forth enough to hit them until they die. But at least they are different, and allow you to see a few more visual tricks and treats. The game is actually pretty easy once you realize that you should just focus on dodging bullets rather than trying to shoot at anything. I got to the 4th level out of 7 in less than 10 minutes. Sadly I don't think I will beat the game, because it is simply too boring to waste time on. The one good thing I can comment on about the game is the graphics. They really are quite amazing for a GBA game, especially considering it was a launch title. The framerates are extremely smooth, and the graphics, though they are all 2D bitmaps, really give an excellent illusion of being 3D. Each level is unique, and matches the level description perfectly (Air combat above the clouds, for example). Overall this is easily the worst GBA game I have played, and I would not recommend it to anyone. If I had payed any more than the [$$] I paid for it, I would consider suing the company that designed it to get my 10 minutes back.
Its not Bad, Not Bad at all.

DON"T BUY THIS GAME!
I thought, "Boy, wouldn't it be fun to have four buddies over for some hardcore wrestling action - 2-on-2 style... we could beat the crap outta' each other without the usual waking up with open wounds and stitches the next morning." Well, I might as well have stuffed a money in the middle of a slab of ground sirloin and tossed it into my nextdoor rottweiller's playpen. This game is unarguably the biggest waste of your hard-earned dollar in the Dreamcast market. Three words - DON'T BUY IT. The animation looks like the designers had 24 hours to complete all the sequences, and they did so just after gulping down a 12-pack of beer a piece. The sound effects are out of sync, the voiceovers are, well, STUPID - there's no other way to describe them. The moves are - well, I can't figure them out and, personally, the game is SO bad, I don't care to take the time. I am not a big wrestling fan, but if I were, I'd consider this "waste-of-time game" to be a mockery of the sport. Acclaim has really let me down here - I will definitely do some research before purchasing another one of their games. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review Despite the cartoony physics, you'll find the controls very responsive andyou'll soon be pulling off some cool-looking stunts. The visuals won't raise newstandards for the Xbox, but they are nicely detailed and move fast. Curiously, while you can earn points to buy snazzy clothing and boards, none ofthem affect actual gameplay. Also, the repetition when trying to complete yourgoals will terrify impatient speed-seeking snowboarders. Still, while not quite as quick and stylish as SSX, Dark Summitdelivers a strong just-one-more-try feel that challenges players while still being fun. For those with the skills and patience, Summit is a arcadesnowboard ride of a slightly different kind. --Mark Brooks Pros: Reviews (16)
Game graphics is decent but unfortunately does not show off Xbox's capabilities. (C'mon, Microsoft, help Xbox developers do a better job!)
P.S. Please! Rent the game before buying. I was stupid enough to buy it. You don't be stupid and rent it first.

PROS: CONS: OVERALL:
Wrestlemania wasn't meant to be a stand out game. I think it was meant to be the beginning of something else because after this came WWF Royal Rumble and WWF Raw which some of us plated to death. I would surpass this one and go straight to either WWF Royal Rumble or WWF RAW.
