Amazon.com Review

The Legend of Zelda series practically defined adventure gaming for an entire generation. Link, the hero of the adventure games, delighted millions by starring in games for each Nintendo console from the NES and Super NES to the Nintendo 64. Link brings this beloved franchise to the Nintendo GameCube in The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and he's more animated than ever.

The first thing you'll notice about The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker is that it looks completely different from any previous title in the franchise. Nintendo has opted to use cel-shading technology on Wind Waker; the result is that the game looks like a cartoon. Die-hard Zelda purists initially howled at this change, arguing that the game skews too young. I think it's fantastic. The cartoon animation style allows for better expression of the characters, and several of the animations--like Link trying to pick up an object that's too heavy--are so cute that you can't help but laugh a little.

The second thing you’ll notice is a focus on wind. Instead of trotting around on foot, Link travels from island to island on a talking boat, but he doesn't get far without the wind blowing in right direction. Luckily, you'll learn how to change the direction of the wind early in the game, and you'll do so frequently--not only to power your boat but also to solve puzzles. Clever use of wind makes Wind Waker stand out from more conventional adventure games.

The third thing you’ll notice is that the game is just plain fun. Puzzles are innovative and refreshing, and despite some tricky puzzles, I never felt too frustrated to keep playing. The locales you'll visit are invariably exotic and fun to explore, and the host of bizarre creatures you'll encounter (friendly and otherwise) are always a kick in the pants. Moreover, though the look is radically different, Wind Waker feels like a classic Zelda game. Veterans of the early games in the franchise will experience more than a bit of nostalgia while playing it.

The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker is everything you've come to expect from a Zelda game, and it's one of the best adventure games to date. This is a must-have title for any GameCube owner. --Jon "Safety Monkey" Grover

Pros:

  • New cel-shaded animation looks great
  • Puzzles and characters are a lot of fun
  • There's a special place in the heart of any gamer who's ever owned a Nintendo console, and that place is shaped like a Triforce

Cons:

  • Some Zelda purists may be turned off by the cartoon look

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing.
I'm one of the biggest fans of Ocarina of Time on the planet Earth. I loved EVERYTHING about Ocarina, and it's followup, Majora's Mask. So obviously, I was highly anticipating The Wind Waker, the third Zelda game to go 3-D.

It starts off decent enough, and the first three dungeons are pretty satisfying, and the cel-shaded graphics are extremely well done, even if you prefer realistic presentations. Technically, they're brilliant.

After the first three dungeons, however, it becomes evident that the game was rushed. The next two go from decent to horrible (not to mention that I didn't die ONCE in the whole game, it's that easy), and after that you're sent on a fetch-quest all over the oceanic world, which by the way is FAR too large for its own good.

Keep in mind that as a game, it's not terrible. But as a successor to Ocarina of Time, it just doesn't hold up for me. The dungeons aren't anywhere near as good, the overworld is too large, the game is too humorous for something like this, and there is no real sense of accomplishment: Ooh, I solved this extra puzzle that I didn't have to, what do I get!?!?!...

Oh...it's...a...necklace...great.

It's good, but it's not worth [the money]if you ask me.

5-0 out of 5 stars To Set the Record Straight.
After reading several of the reviews of this game, I couldn't help but add my two cents. Aren't we all tired of grammatically incorrect reviews that sound like they came from the second grade classroom?
This game, simply put, is amazing. I was skeptical at first when I saw the cel-shaded graphics. Believe me when I say the screenshots do not do this game justice. The lighting, the framrate, the textures and the animation all combine to make the BEST looking game this side of Metroid Prime or Halo. The art style fits this type of game perfectly. If you were to look back at the art of the original Zelda game on NES, you would be astounded by the similarities. The graphics add to the game in such a way you would never expect. Stuck in a dungeon? Swing the Camera around and take a look at where Link's beautifully animated eyes are pointed. Want to know which direction the wind is blowing? Look at Link's hat blowing in the proper direction. That brings me to another topic. The facial animations are second to none. Okay, now don't laugh, but there will be times when you literally laugh out loud, or feel like crying. The game is that good at connecting with you. But enough about the graphics.
The sound effects and musical tracks in this game quite simply blew me away. After my first day of playing this game I found myself humming to several of the overworld themes. With a few exceptions (Link makes an annoying sound when he crawls) the sound effects are great. The grunts, bonks, sword clashes and water splashes all sound like they should.
The staple of the Zelda series has always been gameplay, and the Wind Waker has it in spades. The gameplay is quite similar to Ocarina of Time as far as control. The dungeons are fun and some of the puzzles are very clever. The game doesn't seem to be quite as difficult as Ocarina, but as a whole it is longer. I would like to personally congratulate the person who decided you would be sailing in a boat. From the first moment I was sailing the high seas there was a huge grin on my face. It still may be there, as a matter of fact. The game world consists of a 7x7 matrix of squares. Each square has at least one island, and it takes a minute or two to sail the distance of just ONE square. You can start to get an idea of just how expansive this game is. Not unlike every other Zelda game, there are side and optional quests to keep you playing long after you have conquered your last dungeon. If you own a Gamecube, it would be a shame if you didn't own a copy of this game. And if you don't have a Gamecube, this game alone would be worth the price. (Plus you can get Metroid for free, so that would be twice the fun.)
If you look at this game and its cel-shaded graphics and dismiss it as "kiddie" or "dumb" maybe you should grow up yourself.

5-0 out of 5 stars Genus
This game is by far the best zelda ever. It is not the same game at all. You sail the seas in a major adveture to become the new hero. Defeat Ganon, Saving the princess zelda, and rescue your sister that was taken by a big over growned bird. meet pirates and divers. Also see the new Link, his Grandma, Aryll his sister, Tetra the female pirate, also the King, and the princess.

5-0 out of 5 stars I could never give any less
Though I AM disappointed with the graphics, this is an awesome game. It's got great game play, excellent controls and beautiful colours.

First, the storyline: definitely not as good as the others but it has it's pros too. PROS/ I like how Tetra is really Zelda in disguise. Ganondorf makes his appearance. CONS/ Link is not really Link. The guy you control who RESEMBLES Link is actually just a boy who dresses in Link clothing and takes the legendary sword and shield. The water filled base, it's cool at first and maybe if it was smaller but most of the whole map/world is water and it gets annoying when you're trying to sail and everytime you want to go another way you have to play the song.

The temples: Only a couple, somewhat of a challenge, pretty well done. I love the enemies and the fact that you have to sneak around under a barrel just so you won't get caught. Puzzling but not as hard as OoT and some of the parts in MM.

The characters: The only character I really like is Tetra and Ganondorf. It would have been a lot better if you were playing as the real Link but you're not. You can pretend all you want but firstly, Link doesn't have a sister (especially a sissy one who would get captured) and secondly, Link does not show much emotion. The main reason for cel shading this game was to have the so-called Link show emotions but in my views, Link is a tough guy who doesn't like to show much emotion. See the facial gestures in Oot, MM and Super Smash Bros. Melee.

In all, this is an excellent game to play, the temples and underground caves are fun to play and the items are cool and interesting. Tingle is the same weirdo as always and the "small fry" fish is cool. Okay well that's all I can write since my computer is messing up royal, anyways, this is an amazing game and I suggest you buy it especially if you enjoyed the other Zelda games. A good edition.

Wind waker
Once again Nintendo rewards it's fans with another masterpiece.
Remeber Pong and Super mario bros. cheesy graphics. Did they matter? No. Nintendo has long taught us that games are fun not because of graphics, but because of innovation and Game play(story, mechanics). But this game succeeds in all categories. The latest innstallment of The Legend of Zelda has by far the best art style in any game to this date. I admire Nintendo for breaking out of the norm of games and daring to create a new experience. This game far exeeded my expectations. Magnificent gmaeplay, wonderful story, interesting new characters and amazing graphics. I love the addition of the grappling hook, swinging around on ropes and chandelleers is addicting. If a game can introduce a new style and completly immerse you in them within seconds, that is success. This game does just that. As usual their is plenty of side quests to keep you playing for months on end. As with Majora's Mask this game also allows you to play as other character in certain levels. Another great addition is the expressions on Links face. He glances around(helping you with clues), grunts with heavy lifting and much more. The attention to the slightest details have all been paid. For instance the ropes holding the bridges can be cut or torn resulting in a dangerous situation for whoever crosses it. There is always two ways to completing a puzzel. The environment is by far the largest of the series, plenty of islands to explore. This game has a gentle learning curve and is very rewarding. As with the first Zelda the second time through offers new elements.
I highly reccomend buying this game, it is a gem in the History of Nintendo. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game
Wario World is a very fun game. Like most Wario games, Wario is collecting treasures, but this time these treasures actually did belong to Wario. At some points in the game it's like a 3D side scrolling platformer, while other times it takes on more of a free roaming type 3D platformer. In this game, Wario can do some interesting moves like the Wild Wing-Ding, the Piledriver, and the Hypersuction. Also, if you gave a GBA and a link cable, you can upload samples of Warioware Inc.: Mega Micro Games$ to play on your Gameboy Advance as you progress through the game. Buy this game!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Perfect Game.
Wario. The name is vagely familar, right? Wario is a very unipreciated character in the nintendo universe. He has always been there, too. So many people discarded Wario in multiplayer games like Mario Party and Mario Kart. I was in the crowd that didn't like Wario. This is because Nintendo really didn't even try to expand on his character. They created an Anti-Mario, pasted a couple of catch phrases (I'ama gonna win, Wahaha...), with a few mediocre gameboy games. Wario made his first ripple in Wario Ware, a simple game that is absoulty exactly what the game boy was made for. Now in Wario World, Wario must save his castle from an evil jewel. Stupid story, right. But, when you enter the first level, punch a little dinosaur, he goes flying, and Wario utters, "Have a rotten day," you know that this is going to be a fricken awesome game. And it is. Some people say it is short. They are right and wrong. I got it on Saturday and now, after just completing it on Monday, I wish it was still there with four more worlds, but it isn't. Four worlds each with two levels, and three bosses. That's what the game's make up is. The levels are huge and unuique. Getting all the treasures could go down as a game itself. In conclusion: Wario World has just made my top five Gamecube list and my top 10 video games ever list. Rent it. Love it. Don't pay the 50.00 admission, wait for a price drop. When it does. I'll be first in line to buy it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game!! I loved it!
I love this game! and it's not that easy, it's quite challenging. The music is great! graphics are beautiful. Not boring at all!! who ever said it was boring is crazy! I bought it at walmart when it came out for $50 bucks It is also a quite long game too! I hope they come out with wario world 2

5-0 out of 5 stars This game ain't for kids only
It's fun and CANNOT BE FINISHED IN 3 HOURS. Unless you got a strategy guide or some kind of cheat. It has many hidden things you have to unlock to advance, and believe me, is hard to make the tricky moves. You don't just have to kill the main monsters but find all the hidden jewels, hearts, etc. This game is not only for kids, but adults will have an entertainig time as well. Well made and hilarious; you have to get it.

2-0 out of 5 stars What a boring game.I think its stupid.
Man oh man this game is fun for about 5 minutes and after that it gets really really old.Dont get me wrong I love easy games. You know ones like Luigis Mansion and Sonic Adventure but man this game is just the same thing over and over. The only reason why I kept playing it was because something cool might happened.Guess what it didnt. The only reason I gave this game 1 star instead of 2 was because hardcore Wario fans might like it.Other than that it sucks. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for relaxing with friends
Mario Golf provides a nice break from the frenetic, white-knuckled stress of many multiplayer video games. Yet, despite its slow pace and lack of explosions or gunfire, it's far from boring. My roommate and I have logged many, many hours playing golf (not to mention an unbelievable amount of time already invested in the Nintendo 64 version) and Mario Golf simply doesn't get old.

Nintendo has improved on the sort of basic golf simulation video game by using not just its proprietary characters, which are entertaining, but by using some creativity in course design. The courses are varied enough to keep the game fresh, and the graphics are nothing short of remarkable. The character art looks great, but the truth is in the details: the trees in the background, and even the grass on the course, look fantastic.

Most of all, though, the game is FUN. The addition of an "automatic" two-tap system means that even your non-gaming buddies can pick up a controller and play along immediately. And the reviewer who complained that he beat the game in four hours obviously didn't spend hours playing the many side and bonus games which allow you to unlock additional characters and to improve the ones that are initially available.

Finally, the game promises some exciting connectivity with the Game Boy Advance, which is great news for those who own both systems.

This Will Be A Great Game!
Mario Golf 64 was a fun game to play, but Mario Golf Toadstool Tour should be better. I played this games as a demo at a local game store. It took me a while to get the hang of the controls, but hey, all games take a while to get used to the controls. I was having trouble with the distance grid and getting a close up on the hole. After a while I got the hang of it, and started getting a birdie on the holes. I rated this game 4 stars because the graphics are amazing, the sound is okay, gameplay is great, and overall it is a fun game. I will definitely buy it when it comes out. Give this game some time, and you will see that this game is fun, and enjoyable. When I saw a movie on the computer about it, it looked really complicated, but it isn't. This game will be a hit!

5-0 out of 5 stars I Took a Gamble on This One
I have never even played golf before in my life, and I don't really like sports or sports games in general. I bought this solely because it's a 1st party Nintendo title and it has Mario in it.

Fortunately, I now love this game! It was a little hard to get used to at first, probably because of my unfamiliarity with the game of golf, but once you learn the controls, it's truly awesome!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wait to buy!
Wait until after April 29th to buy this game. Nintendo has announced that the price will drop by twenty dollars then.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this game
Mario Golf is a great game for those who are horrible at real golf, but are good at video games. I found that it was hard at times even though i have been playing video games for over 10 years. There are so many different challeges, courses, and secret characters to unlock, that you can never get bored of it! A must buy. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars GTA: Springfield!
That's right, folks! Just like how Road Rage was a lift off of Crazy Taxi, Hit & Run is the Simpsons treatment of Grand Theft Auto, only with a PG-13 rating. Even so this game has a tremendous amount of promise and should be a Homer (bad joke). If you liked the game play of GTA, buy this one! If like me, you've never played any of the GTA games because you own a Gamecube instead of a PS2, they buy this game TODAY. You'll be getting the best of both worlds; a new Simpsons game chock full o' in-jokes and laughs, and a version of GTA for us Nintendo fans. Personally I'm so sure this is going to be a winner, I'm preordering it sight unseen.

5-0 out of 5 stars D'OH! Mmmmm ... Simpsons on video game!
THE SIMPSONS HIT AND RUN is a quantum leap from the ROAD RAGE game previously released. In ROAD RAGE you played a driving game that imitated CRAZY TAXI, and this one is more like GTA - missions on foot and driving. In HIT AND RUN you hoof it for some portions of the game, and you drive a variety of cars (just pick one off the road by standing in front of it and pressing the "y" button). You have to complete missions and tasks for the residents of Springfield while also looking out for some evil aliens that are spying on you from cola machines and robotic insects.

The SIMPSONS actors voiced all the characters and the writers had a hand in the plot of the game. Springfield is lovingly reproduced in massive detail and depth. You want to stop driving every now and then to look around at all the billboards and other items that have SIMPSONS lore : ads for Duff Beer, Krusty Burger restaurants and delivery vans, ads for The NEW area code, and tomacco plants fill the horizon.

This ones not too hard - although many of the bonus missions are tricky! But it's so BIG and there's so much to explore! WoW! And unlike ROAD RAGE the characters talk a lot more than just their catch phrases - and there are more mini-movies in the game and they look better. Great game!

The Simpsons: Thank God!!!
The Simpsons:Hit & Run is what us loyal fans have been waiting for, Grand Theft Auto/ True Crimes:Streets of LA/ Simpsons put in a blender and bam! This game is vast, exapanding from Evergreen Terance to even the pond next to the power plant, which is inhabited be three-eyed fish. Your can command such lovable characters as Apu, Lisa, Homer, and Bart; also that rude fat guy from the comic store. The story has no true path, which as we all no is what makes the show great. The game has many side tracks like racing for the DMV with Patty and Selma. The game is not very difficult so less serious gamers can enjoy it but, it is still entertaining for the expert players. I would recommend this game as a must buy to faithful Simpson followers and definitly worth renting if not buying even if you have no clue who Apu is.

Amazon.com Review

It’s a pretty bold claim but for many, Mario Party is the best multiplayer game series ever. No need for guns or complicated role-playing elements here--Mario Party is fun because it’s simple. The original N64 game created an entirely new subgenre--an unlikely combination of traditional board games and lots of ultrasimple arcade titles. The idea is that you travel around the board trying to collect stars, which must be paid for with coins, and you get coins by competing in minigames, which occur at the end of every round. These minigames generally don’t last longer than a minute or two, and many are based on old Game & Watch titles. There are over 50 minigames in Mario Party 4, and each involves either a free-for-all, two players against two, or one against three (depending where you land on the board at the end of your turn). These can involve anything from skydiving to basketball dunking, or car racing to hide-and-seek, to name a few.

Admittedly, this basic description of the gameplay might not sound too exciting, and indeed if you’re playing with less than three human opponents it can be pretty tedious. But play it with the full complement of non-virtual rivals and the game’s infinite capacity for cheating, backstabbing, and ganging up allows it to completely transcend the humdrum sum of its parts. There’s nothing terribly new in this third sequel except that the graphics are much improved and the minigames are all new, but that really misses the point: get this game out at Christmas instead of Trivial Pursuit and you’ll wonder how you ever got through the holiday without it. --David Jenkins, Amazon.co.uk ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Minigames, minigames, minigames
This game is packed fit to brust with minigames and I even brought it four days ago and I still find new minigames to play, and I play about one hour a day! It gets a bit annoying when you have to play story-mode or party-mode and unlock the minigames for minigame mode. But it takes little time for people to take their turn so every three and a half minutes you are back into a mini game. Minigames can be dull such as three throw when plays just have to throw basketballs in moving nets. While others are a great yell with your mates such as booksquirm when players have to try not to be squashed by turning pages and have to look for holes in them, you will want to kill the computer when it yet again pushs you and you get squished by a page. The items are cool apart from a magic lamp that takes players straight to a star it's way too easy to win with this item.
DON'T BUY THIS GAME IF: You hate waiting your turn and dislike short and sharp fun and just want it all the time. Minigame mode offers this but as I said you will have to unlock the games one by one in story or party-mode first. Better let your eager friend do this for you.
BUY THIS GAME IF: You love a variety of fun and games and like a laugh with your friends in front if the televison.

2-0 out of 5 stars the worst party ever
this game was horrid compaired to the first. when i upgraded from a n64 to a gamecube, i got this game. the only thing different was that they copyed every game except they made it worse and added some of the worst games ever. the graphics are an upgrade and they made items that help you around the board, but it goes to waste on really bad levels. they added 2 odd characters daisey and waligi, a copy off of peach and a cross between wario and luigi with conan o'brians legs and a purple suit. ehg

2-0 out of 5 stars Gets very old very quick
I highly advise you not to buy this. (...) I suppose this is a good party game, but I think MK: DD!! is a much better one. Anyway, the game is very slow-pased and boring, and there isn't much variety at all. After a while, you just won't care what you'll unlock, as there are so many better games out.

4-0 out of 5 stars MARIO PARTY AGAIN?
Mario party 4 just has some more games than the other partys.

Great AND fun
I know this is only the 1st MP I played-but I call it the 2nd best MP ever!In this game you can play as DK unlike MP5,the Boswer mini-games are better-just great!Reson why this got 4 stars- the Bonus and Super Duel mode in MP5.But this is fun AND great! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars It has something for everyone.
This is definitely the best F Zero game in the series.I dont understand why some people would say this doesnt hold a candle to the old F Zero on the Super Nintendo.Yes that was a great game but this is even better. For one thing the graphics are some of the best Ive seen on any system and take up almost all of the Nintendo Game Cube's power. The speed is again a major part of what makes it so fun but more than anything its the challenge of the game that keeps you coming back for more.A lot of people that I know couldnt beat the harder cups if they tried for 2 years and its not a game you can beat just in one weekend. But dont worry even a novice racer could do well in the first 3 cups on Standard given the right vehicle.
The amount of cars you can unlock is a mindblowing 40.Yep the first 30 you can easily unlock by having been given tickets but the other 10 you have to unlock in the Story mode. And believe me the story mode is very hard.
In conclusion F Zero GX is a perfect game and a personal favorite of mine.I think it stays true to the simplicity of the older ones while being more challenging near the end.Cant wait for F Zero GP Legend.

3-0 out of 5 stars Really Disappointing
I've been a fan of F-zero for a really long time, all of the games I've played are really good, but this one, I've got to say, is really disappointing. For starters, the Story Mode is pathetic, the acting is horrible, I think the same programmers did the voices, or some actor wannabes who think they are such a big shot.

Another thing, the race tracks, the graphics and scenarios are awesome, but man! Those tracks look like some horror sci-fi movie, they're all dark and gloomy! Besides they are really boring! And the music? They've only got percusion, man it gets on your nerves. Anyways, I won't say thet it is a bad game, it still has its good things, the graphics and sound effects are the bomb. But if sega and nintendo teamed up, you would expect something better, wouldn't you??

Graphics- 10
Music- 4
Acting- 0 (no, im not exaggerating)
Sound effects- 9
Control- 6
New stuff- 5
Replay Value- 8

If you have an n 64 try to get the oher f zero, you'll get it cheaper and it a lot better than fzero-gx. Although overall it really is a good game, it is not worth your 50 hard earned dollars. Get Elmo's Big Adventure, at least that is more entertaining..

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool game!!
This game is cool, I got it for $20 so it wasn't expensive. I like the four player mode.

3-0 out of 5 stars "Show Ya Moves!!!"
This game is great! It is not as good as Kirby Air Ride, though. There is no violence in this game, and come on! Show me the rotten suggestive themes!! There is none! The reason why it is rated teen is because of the toughness. F Zero is super hard and I recommend this game for teenagers. It is one of those games where you get beat up to much, the race is over. I got this game because I love Captain Falcon's moves in Super Smash Bros., and I heard this was an excellent game. I got this game for $10.40 @ BJ's . I love the action!!!

F-Zero
F-zero is the best title of the franchise yet. If your into incredibly addictive racing this game is for you. So many factors contribute to making this one of the best racers around.
The graphics are very clean and smooth(delivers an amazing 60 frames per second), but it is the game play elements that truly shine. It stays true to it's predesesors by delivering an amazing sense of speed, sending you flying off cliffs and barreling up pipes at full speed. But this racer isn't for the ameture player. F-zero is hard, which I think is great, it keeps you playing and rewards with a great sense of accomplishment. In addition this game offers other great bonuses including a create your own craft option, in which you can also customize exhisting craft. Thier are many bonus tracks as well, which only the elite will unlock. Whether you are a true fan of F-zero or have never heard of it, this game will astound you. A must have for GameCube owners. 5 out of 5 ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A Very Good Game...
Skies of Acradia Legends is the revised version of the origional Dreamcast title. As such, it is really not much more than an add on to the old game. Graphics and gameplay have changed very little and storyline is mostly the same. Really the only thing that makes this game a must buy for all RPG loving Gamecube owners is the fact that Skies of Arcadia is great. Peroid.

Following the basic guidelines set by the beloved Final Fantasy series, Skies of Arcadia starts with Vyse, a young Blue Rouge sky pirate. Over the course of his adventures he will meet new people, gain new powers, and kill entire populations of random beasts. What makes Skies so much more than a FF rip off is the setting, a world of floating continents and powerful flying warships. Few games place the importance of exploring like Skies. You will literally need to fly into every corner of the map if yu expect to win the game.

Combat is a slight twist on the standard fare. Both ship and personal combat revolves around the idea of placing in commands then letting the move play itself out. Fastest charaters go first and slowest last. Its fun and useful and if you want to go get a drink, the action can continue without you. Ship battles are only slightly different but even more fun to watch.

The story in and of itself is a great one and will keep you well interested throughout. Although Vyse is placed on a very set path, at any time a player can leave it and go off in search of battles and "discoveries" which can be found by searching the skys. The new Wanted Battles also allow a bit more variety in movement and a new set of powerful foe. Although the ending is not nearly so twisted as FFVII, it is plenty interesting.

The only real problem with Skies is the high level of random encounters and their monotony. Though lower than the Dreamcast title, you still only have about 15-20 seconds to fly around before you are attacked by another dozen enemies. If you are trying to find discoveries or treasure chests, this can quickly become annoying. Fortunetly the new "moonfish" quest will give you a way out of this fairly early, if you should want.

Overall, this is the best RPG for the Gamecube to date. This is not suprising because Skies was the best RPG on the Dreamcast to date(minus Grandia II). If you like RPG's or even like a bit of flying around and exploring, I highly recommend this game for purchase. Like it, Live it, Love it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Finally, an RPG for the GameCube
Okay, for GameCube's lack of RPGS, Skies of Arcadia is practically heaven. No, it's no Final Fantasy, but it comes pretty close.
Graphics: Some people hate the graphics, saying that they're horribly outdated. Outdated, yes? HORRIBLY outdated? I don't think so. Honestly, the graphics never bothered me. Why? Because I've been replaying my old Final Fantasy games on the playstation. In fact, Skies is beautiful compared to what I've been playing. Sure, the character models are ugly, but they sort of give them personality at the same time. I mean, what's a better way to describe an upbeat cheerful personality, but with hair sticking out of the sides of her head that is Aika?

Sound: The music is pretty average, nothing memorable, but nothing annoying. I do, however, have gripes about the little sounds they make during conversations.

Story: It's nothing really spectacular, but it has is moments and is still pretty good. It starts out slow, but begins to pick up about 5 hours into the game.

I loved this game, it kept me entertained for 50 hours, but as great as it is, it's not without its flaws. Besides the spirit points, the battles are nothing new. Well, nothing innovating, at least. They're your basic turn based battles, and the magic is not as effective as it should've been. Also, the battles are long, often drawn out, and TEDIOUS. Monsters come in large numbers and the random encounter rate is pretty high. There were a few times when I wanted to strangle the game.
The characters got a bit annoying too with their almost TOO quirky personalities. Also, conversations were sometimes boring because they basically just stood there rather than interact like in the Final Fantasies. Maybe I'm giving too hard of a time on Skies, comparing it Final Fantasy, which basically set an incredibly high standard for RPGS today. Nontheless, Skies of Arcadia: Legends is an excellent game for GameCube owners.

A good RPG.
I found this game very fun to play. It was an original plot line and the characters were on a different side of the story. Instead of fighting the air pirates, you play them. I took off one star from my rating because I really dislike giving orders to your party instead of the hands on action format. Other than that I can find no more flaws in the game and recomend it highly.

^_^

5-0 out of 5 stars Great RPG
Yeah, complain about the random battles and dated graphics.

Who cares? This game is fantastic. The storyline is great, the humor is great. Every new ship expansion or base upgrade will cause you to smile. Every new discovery feels like a real accomplishment. This game is excellent. If Tales of Symphonia is half this good, I may never need another Square RPG again.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best RPG I've played since Chrono Trigger
I definitely would rank this game up there with Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger. It is very similar to Final Fantasy IV in it's style, very linear with a few side quests, and fixed party members (for the most part). The story is amazingly well done; enthralling, but, unlike many RPGs, not convoluted. The ship battles are a lot of fun, and feel very epic. The regular battles are about average; unfortunately it doesn't have the active battle system like FF games, which slows the pace of battles down a bit too much. The story pace is very fast, you could probably play the game straight through without needing to dedicate time for leveling up. In the end it took me about 45 hours to complete, doing a significant amount, but not all, of the side quests. So in conclusion, buy this game if you like RPGs, no question about it. ... Read more

Have you ever played a game that you thought you could play forever? What about a game that had awesome graphics, a good storyline, good controls, and was the most fun game you have ever played? Well, if you haven't Soul Calibur 2 is a game you need to play.
Unlike most fighting games Soul Calibur 2 has a good storyline. Some fighting games just have an arcade mode where you fight every character on the game. Soul Calibur 2 has a weapons master mode where you can be any character you want and you follow along with the story. Some of the characters on this game are Link, Astaroth, Voldo, and those are just a few of the many characters on Soul Calibur 2. I think that the storyline on this game is better than any other game I've played.
Secondly the graphics on this game are so awesome that they will blow your socks off. It has awesome facial detail along with great background detail. Examples of this are, if the character says something you can see their mouth move. Now you may be thinking why does that matter? It matters because it makes the game more realistic and the more realistic the better.
Like the storyline the controls on Soul Calibur 2 are good. I say this because it is easy to perform attacks or block enemy attacks. Also, there are so many different attacks you can perform. Such as, a horizontal attack, a vertical attack and an attack where you throw the enemy. All this helps you when you are battling throughout the game.
Owing to the fact that, the graphics are awesome, controls are good, and the storyline is good, the fun factor of this game is awesome. What makes it so fun is that there are so many different things you can do, that you never get bored. For example, this game has a versus mode where you can play against people like your friends. It also has a lot of extras, like an extra versus battle, extra team battle and a profile mode where you can read about the profile of any character. Soul Calibur 2 is probably the most fun game I have ever played.
In conclusion, I rate this game a 4.5 out of 5 because of how good the graphics, the storyline, controls and fun factor are. Also, I recommend this game to anyone who likes fighting games. This game is probably the best fighting game ever made. Finally, if you have never played a game that you thought you couldn't stop playing, or a game with a good storyline, controls, and awesome graphics then you might want to play Soul Calibur 2.
Bottom Line: Soul Calibur 2 is a game that defea

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth the wait
The original Soul Calibur was the best game made for the Dreamcast, and since that platform's demise, fans have waited four years for a follow up. It was well worth the wait. The game is premiering on all three major game systems at once, and although each version is essentially the same, each game has one distinct quality: They feature different lead characters. For the Playstation, it's Heihachi. For the XBox, it's Spawn. But the Gamecube got the best one: Link. He's joined by many of the classic characters from the original game, plus some great new ones. The biggest question, however, is this: What prevents this from just being another run-of-the-mill fighting game, another Kakuto Chojin or another Mortal Kombat clone? One needn't worry.

Although similar in style to other combat games, this one rises above them with extraordinary gameplay, first-rate graphics (esp. on the Cube and XBox) and surprisingly easy controls and fighting techniques. The attacks are pretty straightforward: kick, horizontal weapon, and vertical weapon. But there are some good combination moves available, as well. Like all other combat games, this requires button/control combinations and some tricky maneuvering. Unfortunately, the Gamecube's basic controller is not well-suited for these moves; the buttons aren't aligned very well for some of the trickier moves. (Of the 3 systems, only the PS2's basic controller was the most user-friendly). But Gamecube fans have a good alternative: the wireless Wavebird controller works really well with this game. Another advantage for Cube fans: The Cube's excellent graphics engine make this game a real treat visually; the player is surrounded by beautifully detailed scenery and environments. Truthfully, it's not that much different from the first version. (But if it ain't broke...) For those who never played the first version, here's a chance to enjoy one of the best combat games ever devised. For those who loved (and miss) the original, it's just like experiencing this fabulous title all over again.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fists of fury
This the kind of game you would find in an arcade. It is that kind of fighting game. It has fun playing modes and the controls are easy to get used to. The graphics are up to date.
The only problem is that You have to beat the game a certain amount of times. But dont let that stop you from buying this great fist in the face and ow that looked like it hurt game

5-0 out of 5 stars The best
This is one of the best fighting games ever, tied with the Mortal Kombat series. The best character is by far, Link. If you don't think Link's fighting styles, moves and weapons are not cool, there is something seriously wrong with you.
Some of the best graphics and some amazing characters, besides Link there are some really unique characters such as Ivy, Nightmare and Voldo. Awesome stages and brilliant story mode. Nintendo games are supposed to be frustrating and hard, if they weren't, what would be the challenge or the point? Excellent, a must play and a must buy. Tons of features to unlock and plenty of game time.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Best Version!
THE GCN OF SOUL CALIBUR 2 IS A MUST OWN.
The game is very fun and innovative. I extreamly recomend it to hardcore game fighter fans.

I didn't think there were any flaws in the game but I found a few. But I won't get into that. This game is very well done I can tell you that. The graphics for the GCN are off the hook.

LINK IS IN IT! YAAY!

The game is very addicting as you must get lots and lots of weapons to complete the game in the chapters if you play it in that mode. The game does not dissapoint in multiplayer.
The multiplayer in Soul Calibur 2 is friken awesome! Especially when you have friends, cause then it's time to woop some butt!

Really fun for partie....well maybe not...

I still recomend getting the Original...THE ORIGINAL SOUL CALIBUR FOR THE DREAMCAST IS THE BEST 3D FIGHTING GAME EVER CREATED!

2 is one step away but still manages to pull through...Was the game worth the wait....Oh hell yeah....

SoulCalibur 2 will be an instant classic....I loved this game even though I still thought the original was better...I donno why..

Overall this is a must own! GET THIS GAME NOW!

5-0 out of 5 stars Sickest version yet!
GC is the perfect platform for this title....I have been patiently waiting for TWS to respond to KSPS since being released, and I am not disappointed. The graphics are the best yet...even over the XBOX, and the game play is solid. Honestly I play the career mode, just to unlock levels, and the 13 hidden surfers so that I can free surf. This game has the best-simulated surfing feel and it has a ton of over the top tricks to go along with it. The problem I had with KSPS was the sliding feel, and lack of connection to the wave, which is perfectly executed in TWS Next Wave (Kind of a dumb title).
If you are a surfer then you will love this game.....if your not, I really don't care about you anyway! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Games like this don't come around often...
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (E.D.S.R.) is a gem of a game that mature Gamecube owners have no doubt been waiting for. Dubbed a "Survival Horror" game, I must concede to the fact that this game is exactly not that.

Many gamers have made the inaccurate presumption that this game is just another Resident Evil clone. This is simply not the case. If I were to make the difficult decision of categorizing E.D.S.R. I would have to describe it as an "Action-Adventure-Horror" title. E.D.S.R. controls like a dream in that controls are akin to such 3-D platformers as Mario 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Extremely tight controls are complemented by fluid motion and animation transitions as well as an array of be-dazzling dynamic graphical environmental effects. Running at a constant 60 frames per second in a fully 3-D engine that showcases highly detailed environments, this game is gorgeous. To complement the aesthetic appeal of this game, development studio Silicon Knights has included full support of Dolby Pro Logic II technology to produce dynamic surround sound for those privy enough to own a 5.1 home theater system that supports DPLII technology.

The storyline is quite mature and in no way tips it's hat to the less intellectual gamer. Throughout the slow but rewarding unraveling of the story, it is always evident to the gamer that his or her historical knowledge base and reasoning abilities have been slightly overestimated. This is a great thing in so far as to say that this game is truly for the mature. Never does the so-called "objectionable" graphic nature of the game go unjustified by the sophisticated subject matter. (Think of film "Se7en") Suspense runs rampant through this psychological thriller and I guarantee that even the hardest of hearts will be left to the will of this particular digital experience.

Overall, I award E.D.S.R. for the Nintendo Gamecube a perfect 5 stars. If you do not have it already, you need not waste another second of consideration: buy it now.

5-0 out of 5 stars Eternal Darkness kicks RE's...
Well, it's finally here. It started as an N64 title but was then ported to the GC. It was released on the day where the planets aligned, which, coincidentally, plays a major part in the game's plot. Now for my oft dreaded review.
GRAPHICS:Excellent. Not amazing (Metroid Prime) but the textures and water effects are nice. Blood could use work.
GRAPHICS OVERALL:8.5

GAMEPLAY:This is what you bought the game for. You've heard about the Sanity Meter and thought it looked pretty cool. IT IS. In this kind of game nothing is cooler than, at the beginning of the WWI level, walking by a poster that depicts a grinning soldier with the words(in French) JOIN THE ARMY. This helps get a sense of atmosphere. Even better is walking by ten minutes later with low sanity and, out of the corner of your eye, noticing the soldier has been replaced with a demon. A bit unsettled, you walk away from the poster. The instant the camera leaves the wall, you here a squelching noise and turn around. Blood is squirting from behind the poster, dribbling down the wall, and making a spreading puddle on the floor. Very Stephen King. Why am I talking about Sanity Effects instead of gameplay? Read about gameplay in some other review, dang it.
GAMEPLAY OVERALL: 10.0

SOUND: The music is superb. Even better is the creepy soundtrack when your sanity gets low.
SOUND OVERALL: 10.0

CREATIVITY:Best plot I've seen in a game. Can you say H.P. Lovecraft? Each character is brought to life through amazing voice acting. From the encentric(read: borderline insane)Maximilian Roivas to the peerless Michael Edwards, all seem like real people.
CREATIVITY OVERALL: 9.5

GAME OVERALL: 10.0

5-0 out of 5 stars Top Ten Gamecube game
Enternal Darkness is a great game. One of the best the the gamecube can offer. Its one of those games that starts off slowly but finds away to get very intresting very fast and never lets go.The visuals arent that great but somehow it does not matter when u have a great story like this one. This game has one negative that you may notice Its very easy at first but very difficult in the last part of the game. The puzzles and spells part of the game is great.its great that nintendo has made a mature game since all they ever make is zelda and mario games(also very great games). Nintendo did a great job of joining up with silicon knights and producing this game. Its one of my favorites on all the new gen systems.

4-0 out of 5 stars New twist on the survival horror genre
First off, let me say that this genre (survival horror) in general is overlooked by many. Why is this? People are probably scared of the game. That is what makes the genre fun though. If you love psychological thriller type of stuff, then this game is a must. Personally, I don't find this game as scary as it is an all round fun game to play. The insanity effects are cool, and well done. Was playing with my friend today and he thought the game broke when the famous "blue screen of death" appeared on the screen. It was just an example of the insanity effect. Very interesting effects overall. Some range from subtle (ex. bleeding walls) to the obvious (ex. screen appears to have been turned off). This game seemed very similar to "Prince of Persia", as far as the gameplay is concerned. For me, if I'm looking for a scare, I'll go with Resident Evil, but if I'm just looking to have some fun I go with this game. The only thing I don't like this game is it's lack of any surprises. Resident Evil has the shock aspect of horror, while this one plays with your mind. Overall this would be a great game if you're just getting into the survival horror genre. I also recommend the Resident Evil series. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good, but not great...
In my opinion, with the exception of Rogue Leader, this is the best Star Wars game yet. However, that isn't necessarily saying much considering the fact that Star Wars video games are almost always really bad. Regardless though, this is a pretty solid title for both fans of Star Wars and non-fans alike.

My review is basically for the single player part of this game, because if you were really interested buying this game for it's multiplayer options, you'd get it on PC or possibly X-box. However, there is still a multiplayer element in the game that is entertaining as well as helpful, especially if you want to hone your Jedi skills.

Again, Jedi Outcast is a really solid game. You start off in your basic FPS scheme which is pretty easy to pick up. Everything controls well enough. Although not great, the graphics are above average I'd say. The music is flat out great, basically the score from the OT (Original Trilogy). Once you regain your Jedi skills, the game kicks up to a whole new level. I've never seen a more realized version of lightsaber fighting. In previous Star Wars games involving lightsabers, it was button mashing, and there was not contact between lightsabers. In this, the lightsabers clash and the sparks start to fly. The tiny nuances that go into the lightsaber fighting are truly amazing. I, for one, am glad that you have to *earn* the lightsaber (although you actually get it once you are about 15% through the game; it doesn't take long like others have mentioned.) The story is pretty good also and sets up the levels well.

On the downside, there are a few flaws in the game. For one,the cutscenes are horrible; poorly drawn and poorly animated. The collisions fields are weird at times as well. Another gripe are the controls when in 3rd person, it's sometimes hard getting the analog lightsaber to do what you want. I don't know if this the fault of the game or having to use a controller, though. Lastly, some of the levels are bogus. For the most part, they are excellent, but then the developers seemed to have over-extended themselves and created some ... gameplay that is just frustrating. The stealth level, the anti-gravity, and the escorting the droid are all poorly done and detract from the game.

All in all, I think this is a good purchase. It is somewhat hard, but personally I like that. I'd rather have a game that last then pay $.. for 8 hours of gameplay. This game has its flaws, but like I said, it still is quite possibly the best Star Wars game ever, it captuers the essence of Star Wars perfectly. If you are a fan of Star Wars, this is a no-brainer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Star Wars Game Yet
This is the BEST star wars game released in a long time. i have trouble most of the time when im playing the mission (they are hard sometimes)but what it lacks in easy missions it make up for in multi player. in exeption to super smash bros. melee this has the BEST multi player that i have seen. you can choose all the setings like if you want to use the force, guns, light saber, time etc. you can also choose who your enemies will be for the round
you can also make custom force settings depending on the side of the force your on. go with the dark side! and you dont need another human player to play multi player games! some multi player games include capture the flag, free for all (ffa), team ffa, duel, jedi master and etc. the graphics for this game are very good and the control is easy. This is one of my favorite games and ranks up with some of the best of the best like smash bros. melee, the wind waker and lord of the rings. over all get this game it is great

1-0 out of 5 stars Jedi knights two jedi outcast for gamecube good or bad
Levels and Graphics

Well for the Xbox i'v heard it's pretty good but for the gamecube it's the worst. I'v seen some of the greatest star wars games ever but Lucasarts didn't try real hard on the gamecube. Their faces look blurry and it probably doesn't have nearly as many weapons lightsaber moves, and force powers as the Xbox has. It doesn't have anything near the graphics they could have made it have.

Voices and shound

I have to say that their voices are very good and sound like the actual people in the movie. Their sound is great but playing the game is horrible and it stinks.

Levels

Well as Kyle Katarn you go through i'm gonna say maybe a little over twenty levels plus a bonus level of boring combat. I mean it's too repetive. Before you have your lightsaber you shoot guys hit a switch shoot guys shoot more guys move around a bit and so on and so on. WHen your shooting a guy you really just stand in front of him and shoot theres no moving around except for when they run but then you can just shoot them in the back. WHen your fighting with a lightsaber you don't have any moves like in the movies or anything. GET THIS GAME ANY YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars A Jedi Review
This game is as great as the Force! You can meet legendary characters like Luke Skywalker. Travel from planets such as Yavin to Bespin. Rip through flesh(literally) with disruptor rifle, blow away enemeys with missile lanchers, or hunt Sith wiht your powerful lightsaber.Wield the power of the Force with Force speed, Force grip, and Force lighting. Not good grahics but it has great multi-player.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best game ever...
This game is extremely addicting and fun. Not only can you be a guy with a goatee, laser-gun and a light-saber but you can also use force powers like push, mind-trick, lightning and best of all, CHOKE!!! The game brings you along a bunch of worlds like Kashyyk and Bespin and a variety of terrain like swamps and mountain outposts. You also get to meet many species like the Rodian, Reborn, and Stormtroopers. You get to meet Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian, and Tavion. (Too bad not Yoda *sigh*) In 2-player mode you get to duel a friend or play capture the flag. Also a big thing: you get to fight light-sabe wielding opponents. I really, really, really recomend this game!!!!!
Plus it's only $24!!!!!!!!!!! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Despite good wrestling, a wasted opportunity
Wrestlemania XIX is like the icing without the cake. Good to look at, fun to play for five minutes, but absolutely empty beyond that.

Plus points:

1. Good graphics.
2. Characters include Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar and Goldberg.
3. Fun to play.
4. Training mode with Al Snow teaching you how to play the game.

Now the nagatives:

1. No proper career/season mode.
2. Revenge mode: Streets of Rage with wrestlers? No thanks. This is infuriatingly difficult to play and there's little reason to play it anyway.
3. CAW mode: despite many options, CAWS always look silly and basic next to the other wrestlers in the game.
4. Only 40 wrestlers. Other games have between 60 and 75.
5. Lack of match types. Elimination chamber? Six man tag? No here.
6. Belts? What belts? You won't see anybody wearing or holding them in this game. To win the World Heavyweight Championship but not see the belt is very poor.
7. Next to Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain, Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth or Raw 2, WMXIX is more like a demo than a full game.

For GameCube owners, I'd recommend waiting for Day of Reckoning in september, which contains a proper season/story mode. To tide you over, pick up Legends of Wrestling II which also has a long-lasting season mode, and 65 wrestlers including Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan.

Wrestlemania XIX is ultimately a waste of time and money. With a story mode it could have beenone of the best of the genre; as it is, it's a very lightweight game.

5-0 out of 5 stars WWE Wrestlemania XIX: The BEST!
I rented this game at Blockbuster a couple weeks ago and brought this game home and within about three days, I was hooked. I think this game is the best wrestling game yet. The graphics are phenomenal, the gameplay is excellent and the action and fighting is outstanding. This game contains the best fighting arenas and best wrestling moves you have ever seen. The game's "Create a Superstar" mode is undoubtably phenomenal. That right there is the best feature in the game.

In this game, you have a numerous amount of different exhibiton matches such as: Normal, Hardcore, Table match, TLC, Cage match, Ironman and HELL in a CELL. These different match types are also available for a tag-team match. You can also choose to play a Fatal 4-Way or Royal Rumble. Then there is the King of the Ring features which determines who is the champion. That's an excellent tournament to play in this game. Other numerous features include the WWE Shopzone, Tutorial (you enroll in training with Al Snow), and the very best Create a Wrestler mode.

The all new and improved "Create a Wrestler" mode is great. You can do everything with this superstar. You can change his body size in the chest, arms, legs, thighs, waist, head to make him as big and muscular as you want. Then there is an excellent selection of different ring apparel for pants, shirts, hats, bracelets, glasses, masks, and also the "Paint" feature. The Paint features is where you can create your own mask to put onto your superstar. For example, I created Paul Stanley of KISS. I drew the STAR on his right eye and he has a face full of make-up and everything. It's really fun and cool. Then you can choose your wrestler's moves, taunts, and entrances. There is an Encyclopedia of wrestling moves to choose from in this game which is wonderful to make your wrestler have the best moves in the games. The best thing to remember to do is in one of the sections of the moves, you should choose "Chokeslam" when throwing oppenent off a cliff or off the top of the Hell In A Cell. You have your weak and strong grapple which enables your new wrestler to more moves. Then the taunts, there is over dozens and dozens of different taunts that reflect your character's personality. Then the entrance mode. This you can get create with your wrestler's entrance with the different fireworks to choose from, his entrance taunt, the camera angles, the ring entrance and the ring fireworks. Then if you want you can have your wrestler ride a motorcyle down the ramp like the Undertaker. Thank GOD for "Create A Wrestler."

A fun mode to play is Revenge. There are four different areas you fight and complete missions in where you earn money to shop at the Shopzone. The areas are: Mall, Warehouse, Harbor, and Parking Lot. There are six differnt missions for each place and when you get towards the end it gets challenging. The only negative about this is there are too many oppenents you have to fight at one time which is literally impossible with 3 on 1. On some mission you have to throw workers off of balconies and watch them fall. The main thing I love is the Harbor where you are in a shipping cell and must throw the workers off into the ocean. There are a couple sections of the cell where the floor can be broken and then what I do is Chokeslam them through it into the ocean. That's great. The mall is pretty cool. The parking lot missions are good for the first few until the 3rd and 4th because then there is traffic going through everywhere and you need to pass traffic and if you get hit you fail. That's where it gets tough.

Overall, I love this game and play it all the time. I have never seen a better wrestling game than this one right here. The graphics, gameplay, and create a wrestler mode and all the different match types and the different fighting arenas make the game the best in the industry. Buy this game and you will not be dissapointed. Long live...WWE Wrestlemania XIX!

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing game!
I loved this game. It was truely amazing. The gameplay was at its best, of any other game. The characters very very well done, alot of wrestlers really looked like them.
The story line (revenge) took some skill to beat. Of course the first couple of levels were easy. But after a few levels it got really challenging. They were fun, to play each level and to watch me go through the scenario.
By far the best part of this game was the create-a-superstar. I've probably spent more time making various characters, then actually playing. With so much unique attairs, hair styles, etc., it made it almost endless for creating anyone you wanted.
This game is always fun and exciting to play, even after beating the revenge mode and buying out everything in the shop, down to the last ability points (out of 999), I still play this game, over and over again.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad but could be better
Wrestlemania X8 was the first game I got for my gamceube, and when I found out about XIX,I had to run out and buy it.I did and I still thought that this game still had some bugs to it.Most of the entrances are better, and the graphics are slightly better (depends on who you are really),and I like the fact that you can focus on a certain part to hurt your opponent more. However there's a few quirks to this game. The create-mode could've been better.Same problem with X8.Unlike X8,XIX had a story mode.Unfortunatley is sucked. What were the makers at Yukes thinking about. You don't wrestle in this mode. All you do is take out security and construction workers. This is called revenge mode, and it is HARD!
But the hours, and hours of just wresting in exhibition make up for it.If you own a gamecube and love wrestling, than Wrestlemania XIX is what your looking for.Let's just hope that the next wrestling game for gamecube will have some major improvements.

4-0 out of 5 stars good but not great
this game is ok but not perfect to make it perfect they need to make season mode and add a few more superstars like shane mcmahon and scotty 2 hotty they also need to add more titles other than that the game is pretty good decent superstars, good details, and the moves i suggest that if you like wrestling u should buy this and wwe smackdown here comes the pain. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game, Graphics A Little Poor
I got this game a couple of weeks ago, the day after "the matrix reloaded" came out. I was very excited about the game, considering that I really enjoyed the movie. I popped in the disk, and the game started up pretty quickly, no probloms there. I picked Ghost as the main character ( you get to pick either Niobe or Ghost as the char. that you control, and both have some unique levels that the other does not). I began to play, and was immediatly hooked. The fighting is amazing, it's third person, but it rocks! With the L button you can toggle bullet-time, you slow down, and you can walk on walls, dodge bullets, and do almost every move that you see in the movies. This game does have a multi-player, contray to what the box, you get to have 1 on 1 battles with major characters, like Agent Smith and Morpheas, but you get to do it with another person.

Pros:

Great fighting
Lots of levels
Over an hour of actual footage
Interesting hacking system (hack in new moves, solve binary codes, chat with neo, etc.)

Cons:

Computer animated cutsceens a cheesy, not that big of a deal
Is too easy at times (but that can be solved with HARD instead of NORMAL)
Don't get to control Neo, Morpheas, or Trinity in one player

Overall great game, a must have for any Matrix fan or GC game collection

4-0 out of 5 stars Not the worst, but not the best either
I didn't think I would ever buy this game, but I did, because I got a good deal. I thought it would be the perfect compliment to The Matrix Reloaded, which really rocked. However, while the game is reminiscent to The Matrix in many ways, it falls flat on several counts.

The graphics are good, but not exactly pushing the GameCube's power to the limit. They are better than the PS2 version. The weapons, the moves, the addition of the focus-mode, really gives the game a good feel. At least we don't have to deal with compressed videos, since the GCN version is two disks. A Progressive Scan option, along with Dolby Pro Logic II and a great musical score makes it good. I'm not saying it's a bad thing playing as Niobe or Ghost, but we were looking for the A-Team (Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity). The characters' movements are a little off, and at times it can get really frustrating.

Overall, while this game is very good, it's just not the mind-blowing experience I was expecting. It is worth at least a rental, but you're all Matrix fans, so I say buy it.

1-0 out of 5 stars This game sucks
First off i'de like to say that the graphics on this game really suck.second, this game is the what ghost and niobe are doing in the movie so there is no plot. thirdly, its too easy, i beat it in two days playing for at leas an hour each day.All-in-all this game sucks and the Wachosky brother bragged about WAAAAAAAAAy too much. it is a waste of both youre time and money.

1-0 out of 5 stars The most incredibly dumb game ever
I own this game and it is way too violent this thing has almost no plot and it is so stupidly animated it gives yo u a headache after the first 2 seconds of game time and I recommend a much more intelligent game like RPGs which are so cool they outshine the martix game a million to zero this game is a waste of money it is not worth it so get some better game that is so much better than this game for example Demi Kids dark or light version

5-0 out of 5 stars Enter the Matrix
AWESOME gameplay and if you like driving shooting martial arts and the movies of the Matrix trilogy. Out of a 1-50 rating I rate Enter the Matrix at an rating of a 10000. SO BUY THIS ITEM!!!!! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A Solid Action Title That Captures Much of the Series Spirit
Let's get this right out of the way...there is nothing truly groundbreaking in this game, in terms of graphics, sound, or general gameplay. That said, it's still a solid action/puzzle title that captures much of the postmodern spirit of the fabulous series on which it was based. I'd rate it about an 8.3 out of 10.

I'll get to the gameplay, etc., in a moment, but will first comment on the story. It does have more of a comic-book feel than the series generally does, but by videogame standards, it's well above-average, and really quite entertaining, mostly in the comedic sense (self-referential humour fully intact). Given that the villain is essentially Ethan Rayne, though, don't expect much in the way of emotional resonance...it's BtVS-lite in that regard. Now, onto the gameplay...

The fighting engine is remarkably deep, at least for the Buffy and Faith characters, which you play 65% of the time. The various combos available to you seem endless, though you'll probably do reasonably well with mindless button-mashing, so it's equally suitable for novices and more advanced gamers who like to mix it up. The staking effect is extremely satisfying, especially for fans of the series. Willow's more enjoyable to use later in the game (the Mall stage), with all of her spells firmly intact (though you'll likely fall back on the homing missle most of the time), Xander's relies more on weapons (of which there are an abundance), Spike inflicts the most damage, and Sid (used only in half of the hospital stage) is a riot to behold, with his rapid fists of fury.

Character models are good but not exceptional, and the voice work is generally solid (Anya's voice double being the only one totally off-the mark, and Willow's, though well-intentioned, sounding too much like an affectation). The backgrounds capture the series set design nicely, and the music, though somewhat repetitious (but in a quite, subtle way), feels entirely appropriate and quite cinematic. Yes, the one-liners (usually about three-to-four for each function, such as commenting on a locked door) grow tiresome, but once you've familiarized yourself with the stages, you'll be able to keep them to a bare minimum.

As per usual with third-person fighting games, the camera is somewhat unwieldly (the only game with a near-perfect camera, IMO, is "Zelda: The Wind Waker"), and the inventory (weapons, health meds) scroll (using the control pad) will be difficult for some players to manage in the heat of battle (there's no perfect way for programmers to deal with this, really). Some puzzles in the game will frustrate upon the initial play-through (you may find yourself wandering around aimlessly on more than a few occasions), but most follow a straightforward logic and usually have precedent earlier in the game (such as in the Zoo reptile area, where you much grab the top of an escalating cage door on TWO occasions). The latter stages of the game are something of a fetch-fest, but a limited number of unlocked doors (hint: in the high school, only the doors with signs beside them and main passageways open) generally give you an indication as to where to proceed...pick up everything in sight before leaving any room.

The Multiplayer mode is well-presented, with 26 characters available (if you can unlock them all, in Story Mode), most notably series creator Joss Whedon himself. There's a definite insane randomness to the pickups in this mode, but it certainly allows for a lot of variety.

And finally, any BtVS fan is gonna love the extras: a series of candid interviews with Joss and cast members, voice-over sessions, and amusing outtakes.

So if you're a huge BtVS fan, buy it. If you're a fan of action/puzzle fighting games, give it a good long rental, and then decide if you'd like to add it to your collection.

5-0 out of 5 stars Played it and LOVED IT.
I bought this game yesterday and have played it for several hours. I couldn't make myself put it down (and I am not really into video-gaming)(i.e., I am a 33 year old lawyer). I have only played single-player mode; so, my comments only apply to that portion of the game. Here they are: 1) You do not choose your character; rather, you play all of the characters of the Buffy cast, including Willow, Spike, and Xander. I personally liked this because I get to be everyone in the game and it keeps it exciting and fun. 2) The controls and moves are very very easy to use. Buffy has over 100 attacks, for example, but you don't need to learn them. You can access a screen to look at them and use them if you want to practice something new. 3) You don't have to wander all around to find needed items like keys. They are easily visible and the game gives you hints on where to find items you need for each "objective." 4) There are all kinds of monsters and demons, not just vampires. 5) The moves and the graphics are phenomenol. 6) The characters make whitty commentary just like on the show, which makes it even more fun. I laughed several times. 7) There's always something to fight or to find...no wandering around trying to find secret passages just to get "extras" that don't really wow you. (An example of this would be Metroid Prime. I got so tired of trying to find stupid stuff, I gave up. Hated it). Overall, I really really hope that this is not the last Buffy videogame from these makers. They have done an excellent job. The only thing I would change about the game in the future would be to make it a 4 player "Gauntlet"-type game, but still in 3-D, so that a group of friends can all play in story mode and choose what characters they want to be, including 2 willows if you wanted that, etc. (just like you can have 2 wizards on Gauntlet).

4-0 out of 5 stars Worth Your Money
I am a fan of the show, so i was really excited to pick up the game. I was glad the developers added some puzzle solving in with the fighting.
The environments and levels are very detailed and for me, this was one of the best features. The voices are also terrific(sometimes i forget its not Sarah Michelle Gellar talking). You also play as six characters, all with a variety of moves. The only reason i gave it four stars is that some of the levels are very frustrating and confusing. the first time through it took me nearly an hour to beat the second level. if you forget to pick up an item at the beginning, youll find yourself backtracking, because youll need it later. for example in the 7th level(Sunnydale High) youll need to go upstairs, downstairs, up etc. then go to another building, then back to the beginning, and thats just the first part. Aside from that the levels are straightforward (all doors are locked except for the ones you need to go through). I would recommend this game whether you are a fan of the show or not. it is worth the money

really good but not better than the first game
this game is great when i bought it. for the gamecube but i had a little trouble finding it cuz most of the stores that sold it were either out of stock or didnt have any copies left. it took me almost a month to finally find a copy of this for gamecube. i must say that the graphics are really good and don't look messy or splotchy or anything they were perfect. i loved the game but they were a few parts i dindt like. like when you play buffy and then when you finish the level your playing with her you have to play another character after that. i really didnt like that i only wanted to play buffy for the entire game not for only some levels. and the person that was voiced by Willow that doesnt even sound like her!! the Buffy in this game doesnt even sound like Buffy either even though it was the same person that did the voice for her in the first buffy game. Xander in the game is too strong on the show he couldnt even killed a vampire maybe only one. also i think that when buffy is fighting the vampires i think it made the fighting too short i mean she only kicks him 2 times and then dusts and thats it. that really suck because i liked fighting more lonoger than solving the puzzles. i didnt like the fact that Angel and Cordelia didnt show in the game like they did in the first one and yes they are voiced by the actual actors that played them on the show and Willow in the first game was really voiced by Alyson Hannigan. the problem with this game is that there were more puzzle solving than fighting if you ask me the first Buffy game was way better than this one. i dint like the fact that this game only had 12 levels i like my games to have more levels so it can be more challenging. i hope they will make a better Buffy game than this.

2-0 out of 5 stars Sequals are never as good as the original!
When i herd that they were comming out with another Buffy game I was thrilled espically after how much fun the 1st one was. Then it came out. While it is not at all a horrible game, it certainlly isn't a good one. The voice acting can get a little irritating, the gameplay can get very long because you can only save after each level and some levels can take up to an hour to complete. The pu zzles are so hard and confusing that by the middle of the game you give up trying and just go online and read the walkthrough. Then they had to put all those characters in the game. Buffy is a good character and she is pretty much the same as she was in the first game, Faith is almost like buffy so she is also a good character. Spike isn't as good as Buffy or Faith but he is strong so I can see the creators wanting to put spike in the game. Then there is Willow and Xander, why were they put in the game. First off Xander is way too strong, in the show he can maybe dust one vamp tops and in the game he is slaying them left and right (without the use of wepons). Willow on the other hand is just fustrating to use mainly on the mall level. While it can be fun to cast spells (esp. the boss battle at the end of the mall level) it mostly gets fustrating, because if a vampire hits you while you are casting it, the spell wont work. Another complaint I have is the story, the story in the 1st game was very indept and was a great sequal to the 1st and 2nd seasons. This story is a video game story, its the same plot as about 100 other games the only difference is that there are Buffy characters in it. The story starts off decent but after the first couple of stages the story takes a turn for the worst.
If you can get the first game then get it, whis one just doesnt have the "umph" that the other game did. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Number one water racer.
With out any doubt this is the best water racer on any system. This games control is a little bit more difficult to learn then Wave Race 64. The only complaint I have about this game is it could use a few more levels. The graphics are better than any other water racing game because the water is so real life like and clear. You can change the weather from cloudy, rainy, and sunny. Some people might not like the voices because on most of the characters the only thing you hear them say is a bunch of hippie [junk]that becomes irritating to some people. On stunt mode you try to get points by doing stunts inside these blue colored rings, on free roam you get to roam the levels without racing any body, and on championship mode you race other computer controlled simulants across 8 different cources. You can pick up turbo power ups to boast your speed and help pass up racers far ahead of you. There are these arrows pointing on witch side you have to pass that helps make this game hard for some people. Even though I like this game I advise you rent it first and then buy it if you like it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wave race again!!
I recently got to play wave race BS at a cube club and 1 word
explains it all (AMAZING). First of all its the graphics i mean
it the best water effects i have ever seen (yep even better then ps2) sorry owners of ps2 but gcn is much better! The controls are
are great the controller melts into your hands for maximum gaming. The tracks are awsome(kudos) to nitendo for the great idea for diffrent weather idea. The waves are a big improvement they can go from small to waves so high its hard to explain how that tiny (jet Ski) could ride them .
The whole course is graphical splender from the teaming wild life below you to the huge wave swells that you ride. Back to the
weather one day it could be bright and sunny the other day it could be storming. Changing the feel of the course so its never the same. So put it all together and you get a great game. (...)

Really good
This is a game that you just gotta buy! Personally, I hate racing games, but I could go for hours on this game. The graphics are beautiful, the soundtrack is rockin', and the players are cool. I have a sister and she, my dad and I go head to head all the time. It's a great way to bond, and now my dad isn't as opposed to gamecube. It's so fun, and a person with a wave runner will really enjoy this game. It's sooo realistic! Keep up the good work, Nintendo!

5-0 out of 5 stars Totally Awesome! I actually felt wet playing it!
This game is amazing. I actually felt wet while I was playing it. It has realistic graphics and real problems that you run into while jet-skiing, like large waves, fog, storms, and sun glares. This is a totally amazing game. The only way it could be improved is if they added more courses, but otherwise, they didn't seem to run out of ways to keep me happy! The graphics are great, they look really real, like the water is reflective. This game is amazing. I loved it.

5-0 out of 5 stars This game rocks the house!
If you like to race, this game is a great alternative to all of the road and snow racing games out on the market and is a great addition to any any collection. Wave Race has the best of everthing... customizeable characters, increasing levels of difficulty, awsome graphics, head-to-head racing, varied venues, and easy to use controls. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Bomberman's back, and better than ever
With beautiful cel shaded graphics, some people may be thrown back from this game. Bomberman has never been about realism though and this graphic style suits the game very well. In Bomberman's newest escapade, he must retrieve the powerful bomb elements before a gang of pirates can get to them. Bomberman must travel through many environments using his bombs and Charabombs to find the elements. Charabombs can be compared to Pokemon. They come in different types and can have their stats boosted through collecting items. Once you retrieve one Charabomb, you can use that one to battle against others and recruit them to your team as well. Each Charabomb has a certain ability that benefits you. For example, one Charabomb gives you the ability to throw bombs further, where as another puts your bomb explosions up to full power. You can even go as far as to combine Charabombs to form even more powerful creatures. Between Charabomb raising and level exploration, Bomberman Generations is a fantastic game. Only problem is that Bomberman can have a tendency to get old quickly. Fortunately the great multi-player features compensate for this. Still, the one player adventure can get tedious at times. With great graphics, play control, and music though, the good game design is augmented to make this game stellar.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great multiplayer action! Plus cel-shading.
This game looks to follow in the tradition of previous Bomberman games. Go to a level, complete some very easy puzzles, yada, yada, yada. Thats just the single player though, the fun lies in the multiplayer! You and up to 3 friends battle it out, and last B-Man standing wins! Plus it's got Cel-shaded graphics, which I personally can't get enough of.

2-0 out of 5 stars Just another Bomberman Game
Bomberman Generation is just another bomberman game. More of the same childish graphics, cheap bosses, and sup par multiplayer. ...

5-0 out of 5 stars bomberman
This is a great action packed fun filled game that if you dont buy now you should try tomarow .

4-0 out of 5 stars Bomberman for the Gamecube
B.G. is the latest Bomberman gamefor the Gamecube. The graphics aredone quite nicely. The stages get harder as you progress through the game. I was surprised how the bosses get harder to beat in the latter stages of the game. The best thing about this game is the multi-player mode. 4-0 out of 5 stars Dirk doesn't fit the environment!
Yes, this game is fun and easy. The graphics are great, but Dirk the Daring looks annoyingly 2D, in the game and on the box. It's like putting some old cartoon in the real world. If you can ignore this fact, you will enjoy the game.

5-0 out of 5 stars THIS IS ONE FUN AND GOOD GAME
THIS GAME IS VERY FUN. THE GRAPHICS MAKE IT LOOK YOU'RE IN A CARTOON. DIRK IS VERY EASY TO CONTROL AND FITS INTO ALL THE SCENES AWESOMELY. 3-0 out of 5 stars Good, but a question about the extras
The other reviews do a good job in explaining this game so I won't get into details about it. I think it is overall a fun game to get, especially if you used to play it when you were a kid. Anyways, the problem that I saw about this game is that the movies in the extras part of the game that tell about the history of the game itself has audio problems. Now, I'm not sure if it's just my copy or all the copies do it but you cannot hear the voice of the commentary explaining the history. It is very low and the music totally over rides it. If anyone out there has the same problem or doesn't, please write a review letting me know. Because of this problem, I gave this game 3 stars. Otherwise, it would probably have gotten four for the game itself.

5-0 out of 5 stars History repeats itself.
I had flashbacks of playing Dragons Lair as a kid in the arcades hating that it sucked up the quarters when I saw Dragons Lair 3D on the shelf at my local video game store. Dragons Lair 3D is a must for fans of the original and has proven a nice game for the rest as well. The graphics are great, the sound is full and well worked, and the gameplay is easy to pick up on. Only complaint is that the levels are quite small. However, there are I believe well over 100 of them. I suggest going out to your gaming store and picking up a copy of Dragons Lair 3D. Dirk the Daring doesn't disappoint.

4-0 out of 5 stars Finally!
At last, Dragon's Lair can be played as it always should have been - in real-time 3D! I am glad to see this ground-breaking classic back and in good form. The look of the game is nearly the same as the original, but now you have complete control of your character. The developers have added some additional villainous creatures, but you still have the time-honored foes (Fire Drakes, Giddy Goons, Singe the Dragon). The game in its present state has 15 levels and over 250 "chambers" loaded with traps, puzzles, and secrets.

The cel-shaded animation is smooth and looks simply awesome. (It even supports HDTV 1080i, for those lucky enough to be able to take advantage of this!). The music and sound is great, and you can expect hours of gameplay. The only downside of this new Dragon's Lair is exactly that of the original - limited replay value. But it provides a wonderful bit of nostalgia for us older folks, and the younger kids should get plenty of play out of the game. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars War In America
I saw the reviews of this game and how good they were, but was still wondering if I should get the game because of the look of it. I had a extra $50 so I bought it and tried it out. Well I was wrong this game is awsome. I beat the game in a full day I just didn't stop. I played Monday from 4:00 to 11:00 and then Tuesday from 6:00 till 12:00 so it definetly has quite some replay value. The graphics are great and very fluid nothing hitches or glitches while playing. The voice acting and sounds of guns were top notch 100%. The game has awsome controls and great level design. You also have a branching story line were in order to get past the snipers you must get c4 in another level which is easy to access. Here is how it is designed you have a hide out place which is underground. When there you get to talk to your friends nd get free weapons of your choice. You play the game buy looking at the map on the table which shows you for instance Fire Station and Hospital. The c4 is at the Hospital and the snipers are on the Fire Station roof. You must blow up the Fire Station and raise the flag in order to continue to the next map which has new objectives. The game is not easy in parts sometime snipers, mini guns, heavly shielded Russians, tanks, helicopters, and bombs are just a few of the things that can easily kill you. The games shooting setup is great also just plain perfect. The game is worth $50 and the reviews are right on actually I would rate it higher. I would give the game a 9.5/10 it is great.Highly reccomended for a Christmas gift.

3-0 out of 5 stars Decent...
This game was not very good. I pretty much beat it on almost all the difficulties, but once you're done that's it. If you keep playing it, there is no point to it. The replay value of this game plunged on me, and once I beat it, I never played it again. Plus, it is very easy, so in a matter of hours, you will beat it and let it collect dust in your closet.
I was extremely disappointed at the racism shown to Russians in this game. The game is about blowing the heads off Russian soldiers invading New York City, raising the American flag, and leaving. Every level is like that, except some are in the snow and some are in the city.
What really pissed me off was the length of the game. Any idiot can beat this game in a matter of 2 hours on normal difficulty. NOT EVEN THE EASY DIFFICULTY!!!!! There are not many guns. Here are a list of the weapons you have:

-Your trusty Wrench to bash the heads off Russians.(always equipped)
-C4 Charges
-AK-47
-Submachine gun
-Heavy Machine Gun
-Sniper Rifle
-Rocket Launcher
-Shotgun
-Revolver
-9mm 17 ammo clip pistol
-Grenades
-Moltov Cocktails

The sound really isn't too good, either, and the Russians scream non-sense at you and your men right before they turn you into swiss cheese.
I would not recommend this game to most people unless you don't have anything else to spend your money on I guess.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game! :)
This game is a top notch game. It has great sound effects with kick ass graphics. The game is great for kids 8 - any age. It has cool eXplosions, intense story line and action. I highly recamend you get this fun game.

P.s.

awesome
this game could have been better but still was decent. the fact of only limited wepons dissapointed me. I mean, they could have at least included m16's and real frag grenades. its not like the average citizen can't go to the gun shop for a 22 or shotgun. next time the makers should use common sense!

Good
Well I got this game for $20 and it was worth it. The game doesn't really have that much innovative features, but it rocks anyway. The graphics are pretty good. The only reason I didn't give this game 5 stars is that you can't control vehicals. Imangine gunning down bad guys in a helicopter while you issue your soldiers commands. Oh, for you guys not likeing this game for having Soviets as the bad guys give us a break! They put nukes in Cuba that were pointed at us for crying out loud!!! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars WTA DISAPPOINTMENT
I am so disappointed in the game. I am an absolute tennis nut & have probably every tennis game ever made. This game, in my opinion, is very unrealistic!! The graphics are horrible. You can't even tell who you're playing with if it weren't for the name being posted. You certainly don't have any idea who you're playing against by looking at the player across the net!

To me, the game play is very suspect also! You think you've hit a "winning" shot (if you want to call it that), but it's out. I honestly think that your shot is going to go where the software puts it!

The announcers are very annoying. Also, is there any reason why they have to show a replay after every shot??

I just find the whole game annoying.

These games are so expensive..............come on, Nintendo, don't put out this junk! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A Wrestling Game Unlike Any Other!
I have seen movie clips from the Japanese version of this game and it is truely the best wrestling game ever. If you are a fan of the Ultimate Muscle cartoon on Fox Box then you must get this game. It features characters from the TV show and uses the same "cell shading" that Zelda uses to make it look like you are actually PLAYING the cartoon. The 3D effects are awesome as you can perform all the moves that the characters do on TV, including Kid Muscle's "Kinniku-Buster". You are not stuck to the ring, you can leap high into the air. There's also a feature that lets you construct your own unique wrestler. This is a game for hours of fun for every kid!

5-0 out of 5 stars Cow and Rice Rule All!!!
This game rocks. You can be all the characters from the show. There are so many modes of play that you just have to keep coming back to play. There is a total of 20 characters which equals 20 different story mode stories. In Super Hero Olympic Mode you can create and edit a wrestler to play in versus and Super Hero modes. How can somebody who likes the show not love kid muscles rendition of the Cow n' Rice song???? Closing thoughts about Ultimate Muscle: If you don't have it buy it. If you do have it buy another copy because this game rules.

the ultimate wrestling game: a review from big qbert
this game is unlike any other wrestling game. i have never seen the show and i love this game and my uncle has seen the show and he loves it too, so this game has been proven to be awesome! there are cel-shaded graphics in this game, you can create up to 40 characters, wrestle in many different rings, you can collect ultimate muscle toys out of the toy machine, play the story mode, do lots of different moves, and even trade you chacters with others! this is the ultimate wrestling game, pick up a copy now!

5-0 out of 5 stars the Ultimate wrestling game!
while this game is not exactly traditional 'pro-wrestling', like WWE, or any of the other wrestling circuits, it's a classic in it's own way! it strays from the 3 count pin rule, for a boxing knock-out, street fighter type of win. with an amazing arcade flavor, that even rivals any game in it's genre for any of the other systems! the sounds are top notch, nice hard smacks, and crowd ambience, and commentators too! this game is based on the anime series of the same name, and not having seen the series, this game is fun, so you don't have to be a fan to appreciate the characters! with whole selection of cool wrestlers, like 'Walrus Man', 'Kid Muscle', 'Chiwawau Man', and many others, plus you can unlock more! A character called 'Meat', throws in power-ups, which can pick up. Graphics are just clean, cel-shaded beauty, the actual gameplay looks like a cartoon! Overall this title is an amazing game for the Nintendo GameCube!!!

This is the Best game ever!!!!!!!!!!

If you by this game go to recruit wreslters and choose Cresent Man. He is so Tight!!! See ive always been lookin for a game that would never get boring. And a wrestling game that's not just all about wrestling. this game is a Wrestling Dragonballz type game. People, dont waste your time rentin it, jus buy it!!!! ... Read more
