Cute toy with only a few problems
The furniture is so cute. My daughter loved setting up the rooms. However, the furniture is almost too big for the rooms. We have the classic dollhouse. I don't know how it would fit in other dollhouses. The bathroom is an especially tight fit. Also, the laptop and book that came with it kept coming apart. That said, I am glad we have it because my daughter loves playing with it.

TIME CONSUMING
INITIAL SET-UP IS VERY TIME CONSUMING AS FAR AS APPLYING THE STICKERS. FURNITURE INCLUDED IS CUTE, BUT NOT MUCH THERE. HAD TO RUN OUT TO THE TOY STORE FOR OTHER ITEMS. MY DAUGHTER PREFERS NOT TO HAVE THE SOUND EFFECTS ON. VERY CUTE TO LOOK AT. VERY HARD TO PACK UP FURNITURE TO CLOSE CORRECTLY.

A must have for your dollhouse
This 3 room set is a must have for your Loving Family dollhouse! It's so much fun and really helps to fill up the space. I especially love the little potty chair that comes w/ the bathroom, the globe that actually spins around, the lap top that opens up and the easle. Oh, and the desk for the little girl to work at. You get a lot for your money.

Terrific Buy!!!!
I am very happy with this set. Not only is it a great buy but everything fits into the Fisher-Price Loving Family Sweet Sounds dollhouse. I really like how they attach the washcloth and shower head to the tub. Then they don't get lost. I think anyone will be happy with this set. Nice addition to the house!!

Took a chance...
I was hesitant to purchase this item since no photo or product description was available to show what rooms were included, but I decided to take a chance. Luckily, I am pleased with the toy. But, I don't think I saved any money by buying the group, this is why I didn't rate 5 stars. This package includes a bathroom (footed bathtub, blue vanity with sink, toilet, potty chair etc.), playroom (globe, easel, bookcase etc.) and kid's bedroom. From my research, I've concluded that these are three of the lower priced rooms. The kid's bedroom, not available at Amazon at the time I write this review, is a teenager's bedroom (stereo, laptop, TV, twin-size daybed etc). I hope this information helps you with your decision. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars we love it!
My son received this as a gift and he just adores it! I like that it has a two volume settings, as well.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Toy
We recently bought this toy for our 11 1/2 month old daughter..she loves it..We bought the Christmas version of it though..It is so cute..I actually like it better than the origanal version. The blocks are so cute and our daughter gets excited when she plays with them...She is walking now and has been since was 10 1/2 months old and loves to follow along after the train..she loves the music when she pushes down its smoke stack..its just a very entertaining toy for her..Great buy..I love all of the Peak a blocks..they are a great toy for any age.

5-0 out of 5 stars A favorite!!!
Our daughter received this from her train-loving family for Christmas when she was only 2 months old. She has loved it from the start, even when she could only lay there and watch it go rolling by her. Now she crawls after it and squeals in delight. She loves to try to grab the blocks off the top as it goes by. It has an off switch as well as a high and low volume. The music it plays is pleasant enough and the little 'toot, toot' is cute too. I think this is one of those rare toys that will last through both the baby and toddler years. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars A big hit
I purchased all of the peek-a-block toy sets before my son was born. All of them have been a great hit. My son is now 8 months old and this is his favorite of all of the peek-a-block toys. At 6 months old I brought it out for him to play with and he instantly loved it, at 7 months old he had figured out that if he pushed the front of the train it would play music and move and he loves to crawl after it. He also discovered that if he pushed the spinning piece in the center it would play music and he instantly starts to move as if he is trying to dance. At 8 months he has discovered that at the bottom of the blocks there is a place to spin what ever object is inside and when he finally gets his little finger to turn the object inside he laughs, then places the block on the train. Also, my 3 year old nephew instantly runs to this toy when ever he comes over, so I know that this toy will be a big hit for some time.

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT!
My 8mth old loves this toy it encourages him to crawl after it and to play with the blocks. he also try's to put them back on the train. when you push the trains smoke stack it starts playing music and starts moving he starts to laugh and crawl. This toy is great! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wanna keep your kids entertained??
My Goodness! We started with such a small little Geotrax set and look at what we wound up with!!My 3 year old got a small set right before his birthday and played with it quite a bit. Then he got MORE for his birthday...and NOW, it is the first thing he plays with when he wakes up and the last thing he play with when he goes to bed!The airport set is probably his favorite by far!But he and his big sister LOVE to take it apart and make new creations with all the tracks and play with the battery operated train, fly the airplane, load cargo, you name it!They really use their imagination and work together with all this stuff!

The only downside is I had to buy a REALLY big tub to put it all in when we don't want to look at it all!The control center, construction set, airplane set and all take up quite a bit of room and there are times when we want it just "put away" for a while. But that's the only bad thing I can say about it...this stuff is just COOL!

I recommend this for ANY kid, probably ages 2 and up.I bought a set for my 2 year old nephew in March and my sister says he LOVES it.If your kids like planes, trains, and automobiles, this is the toy for him!

5-0 out of 5 stars Another great addition to our geotrax set-up
This is a fun addition to the system.Set up time is less than 2 minutes. My girls love it.The only problem is the fight that sometimes happens over who gets to fly the plane.

5-0 out of 5 stars To infinite and beyooooond !!!!
To wait for new Geo Trax series... some months.

To deliver it at home... less than a week.

To assemble it ... half hour.

To see the happiest face from my child, when he saw the plane flying... Priceless...... 10 Stars !!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great as an addition to your train or as a stand alone toy.
This is a very fun toy.I would consider it a stretch, however, to say that this is a necessary addition for your train set.I would say that this is a great toy on its' own merit. The airplane is a big hit.It flies in circles with the control of a hand-held lever. As it flies the propellers spin. There are three different sounds (a jet, helicopter, or propeller plain.)There is a luggage carousel that spins around for cargo. As I said, my son plays with this independently from his train set.It can be incorporated.I would not hesitate to purchase this even if I did not own any other pieces from geotrax.

5-0 out of 5 stars Like it but prefer some of the other addons better!
My son recevied this for Christmas as an addition to his Geotrax system. He loves to play with it and loves the sound effects it has but, I found it to be more of a play alone part of the geotrax system than an integrated piece.Other add ons like tower clock, rescue squad, etc. are combined into the train system while this is not. It connects to it but the train portions pass by it rather than be part of it. Still a great piece but I think that if you have other toys like my son does his little people airport would have worked just as well by setting it up nearby. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the Best Rescue Hero Vehicles
My son loves this RH toy! It holds lots of guys (a big plus for him) and was easy to assemble (a big plus for me)! I think it stays together much better then the RH airplanes, which I'm always having to put wings and windshields back on. This Ambulance and the Bi-Pod jet are the best of the Rescue Heroes vehicles set!

5-0 out of 5 stars We love it
We love this toy. We were so happy to finally see an ambulance. Otherwise, what does Matt Medic drive???We haven't had any problems with any parts staying on.My son is 3 and is thrilled with this addition to his huge Rescue Heroes collection.

3-0 out of 5 stars Rescue Heroes Ambulance
Not as cool a toy as we had hoped. We have most of the other large vehicles and this one snaps together easily, but for price, not that great an ambulance/rescue hero vehicle.Difficult for the rescue heroes to stay on the fold out sections in the back and the stretcher never stays inside the vehicle.Wench in front does not stay on well either.Pass on this one and purchase the mission select police car, jet or fire truck.Much better values for the money! ... This purple and silver electronic lap-book looks worth the sacrifice of foregoing afternoon cartoons--and it is. The two included storybooks ("Ernie's Neighborhood" and "School Skills") fit inside the book and, thanks to microchip technology, kids can read, count, talk, and sing along with characters using a handy stylus as a pointer. They can stop the story whenever they like to figure out words, phrases and puzzles along the way. Buttons for letters, words, music, and "surprises" are within finger-distance, and so is a full reference of capital and lower-case letters. There are also 60 or more learning activities stored in the book, designed for kids between 3 and 8 years (or up to the 2nd grade). Activities range from simple (spelling, telling time, music) to more complex (problem-solving, comprehension, vocabulary). Required: four AA batteries. Diane Beall ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money!
I got the PowerTouch Learning System for my 3 years old son. He loved that until the day that he got tired of Elm's book. I went to look for the Dora's book and other books to buy for him. The Dora's is not for sale at any store and there are just few different books avaliable in the market. I got really frustated. I wish I had gotten the Leap frog, they have a way more books which keeps the toy very interesting for the kids. Another problem is that while playing with it, my son eventually touch other parts of the book with another areas of his hand when he points a figure, which make the PowerTouch Learning System starting spelling or reading another word instead of the one that he intended, making him confused at first. Even without touching the book, a closer approach to it, is more than enough to activate. Now I like the idea of the pen in the leap frog. I would never buy this toy again!

An attention getter!
We bought this for my 2 1/2 year old son for Christmas. He loved it and still does. He really does not care about the story too much. He mostly likes the music, counting, and pointing to pictures and it tells what the picture is. Its very durable. The only problem is the cartriages are small, but we try to keep the books and cartriages in a back pack. We bought all the books but he loves Ernie's Neighborhood and Blue's Clues the most. It was definately worth it!

Fisher Price does it again
My daughters got this gift for their second birthday even though the age on it is 3-8. At 2 1/2 they are still too young for it, so I really would go with the age limit on this toy. My 2 complaints with this electronic book is the books that go in the toy come in and out ever easily with is very annoying to my toddlers. I can't imagine at 3 they would be any better with the books though. To me, it seems like the system would work better if the books clipped in a bit better. Also some of the books seem "cheap" in their text. Example: Ernie's Neighborhood plays a song, "who are the people in our neighborhood" based on what the child is pointing at. Ernie sings most of the song and then some other voice chimes in with "police man" or "mail carrier", then Ernie continues to sings. Seems to me they could of spent more $$$ on the books development as well.

What I do like about this system is the fact the girls can use their fingers and not a pen to use the books. Plus the girls really seem to like this toy. I hope FP gets some better books soon.

One of my children's favorites!
We'd considered the Leap Pad for my daughter when she was 2 1/2, but decided to go with this one. For one thing, there's no wand or pen with it; it's all done by touch, which is helpful for little ones who haven't perfected their fine motor skills yet. It's also nice, because a wand or pen can be used as a weapon against siblings or parents! I also checked the durability of the books that come with it, because in addition to my daughter we also have an 18 month old, and he would be pulling on the pages. We've never had a page rip yet; they're very strong. My favorite thing about this product, though, is the fact that it even works without a book inserted! The plastic casing itself has the alphabet on it, so you can push the letters and play even when the insert books have been temporarily misplaced.

My daughter is 3 now, and has played with this nonstop for the last 6 months, and her younger brother (18 months) adores it as well. My children aren't "gifted" or anything; I'd say they're prefectly average, and they're able to work the Power Touch very easily, yet not so easily that they get bored. I highly recommend this product!

Do not recommend
I do not recommend purchasing the Power Touch Learning System because there have been no new books developed that I can see. And, at the back of some of the books it shows a Dora Explorer Book, and an additional Clifford book that are not offered anywhere, my son and I look in every store, I have searched the web and search engines. Basically Fisher-Price is not supporting this system, so I wish I had purchased the Leap Frog system. Although the Leap Pad we had when my son was younger had some problems with the stylus not touching correctly and giving incorrect answers, at least it has plenty of books and support. My son is 4 years old, has done all the Power Touch books and doesn't use it anymore, he's become bored with all the same books, he rather play with his old Leap Pad. And in the stores, you quickly see how much more there is available for the Leap Frog, and I think the stylus is also a great learning tool for practicing holding pencils/pens. Hopefully Fisher-Price will introduce new books soon, and this problem won't be such an issue. ... Read more

Editorial Review

The Pixter is like a personal digital assistant (PDA) for kids. But instead of storing boring appointments and phone numbers, they get to draw, do puzzles, and learn a little, too. The Pixter is about the size of a small book, and has a pretty solid weight to it. It's made out of brightly colored and durable plastic. The main action of this toy is drawing with an attached stylus. The Color Pixter offers much better graphics then the black and white version, which comes in handy with activities like Paint-by-Numbers and Connect-the-Dots. You can draw a picture free form, or you can use one of the starter backgrounds. There are tool buttons, like on a PDA, that give you access to fun stamps, special effects, and the eraser button. You can also save your creation in the Pixter's memory. There are some boppy tunes playing along with all this creative activity, but luckily for parents, there's also a jack for headphones and a volume adjuster. An expansion slot on top of the Pixter accepts ROM-based expansion cards that contain additional software and games. Requires 4 "AA" batteries. (Not included.) --Megan Sullivan ... Read more

We LOVE It !!!!
My 2 year old was given the Pixter from her aunt right before we moved out of state,We love it!Shes 2 and can find her way around websites better than most 20 year olds but I thought this might be a little harder, well I was wrong, she taught me how to use and shes 2! I recommend this for all toddlers b/c they will want to learn how to use it and when they do its worth it when they come to you with a big smile and show you what they did!!!!

The best everything toy
My son recieved this for christmas and he has not put it down since. He is 3 years old and just loves everything about it. He counts and recognizes numbers and just loves it. I highly recommend this toy for children. We haven't left the house without it since we got it.

Great Toy
I bought the Color Pixter for my 6 year old at Christmas and she loves it. I am glad I paid the extra and got color. My only complaint is the lack of additional software. I talked to Mattel/Fisher Price and was told that they sold so much of these products at Christmas they are behind in getting the stores stocked with the software (I was afraid they had quit making them). We did get one of the black & white software cartridges and it wasn't worth the time or money, I'll hold out for the color. Hard to tell how educational without additional software. As for durability, so far so good. Great entertainment!

Great toy!
I purchased the Pixter Color for my daughter. She just loves it! The color cartidges are hard to find. I was able to purchase the Dinodraw, Barbie & SpongeBob for Christmas. They are typically sold out so you have to keep checking. Fisher Price does make a carrying case for the pixter color and all of your cartidges. It is a MUST HAVE because this is an expensive toy but a wonderful one. The case keeps the pixter and the cartidges safe and clean. (I bought it [online]) My daughter brought her pixter on a long car trip and really enjoyed it. She also brings it to her brother's wrestling tournaments which can be very long and boring for a little girl. It is a great toy. I will purchase additional color cartidges when available! Enjoy!!

The favorite toy under the tree!
I bought this for my 4 year daughter for Christmas this year. She is really into coloring and drawing, so this appeared to be the perfect gift for her.

This is definitely for the 'under 8' crowd. As a matter of fact my FOUR YEAR OLD has mastered this in two days! When I say mastered, I'm referring to the ability to use Pixter unsupervised. She will ask questions here and there, but it surely didn't take long for her to figure out what each of the icons do. So I will even go further and say that I can see the 4-6 age group reaping the most benefits from this without getting bored.

There was mention in a previous review about no "undo" feature....it DOES have this feature, but you may only undo once. Still, it has the feature so you may 'erase' what you just did without erasing the entire picture.

For each of my nieces I purchased the Pixter 2.0 for Christmas, the black and white Pixter. I must say that I'm glad I spent the extra money and purchased the color version for my daughter. The pixels appear to be greater which makes the quality of the pictures so much better. The color choices when coloring is probably the best feature. My daughter likes the built in coloring-by-number feature the best. She also love the ability to use all the built in stamps to add to her pictures. To me it's like a elementary computer Paint program....

Now...educational? Not necessarily, but it has potential depending on the cartridges you buy. For example, I purchased the Barbie Color, the Spongebob Color, and on clearance I bought a b&w "learning fun" cartridge. The Barbie and Spongebob are games, plain and simple. My daughter enjoys them, especially the Barbie one, but aside from a matching game I don't see these as educational. The 'learning fun' cartridge lets your child practice writing upper and lower case letters and numbers. There is more to this cartridge, but we haven't delved into the entire cartridge yet as it IS in black and white and doesn't hold my daughter's interest as well. Based on this cartridge I WILL be buying the new COLOR Smart Start cartridge, which appears to be an updated version of this b&w one.

I realize that since this product is fairly new that the accessories are probably still in the works, but I would love to see a carrying case for the Color Pixter. I am hesitant to allow my daughter to carry this around outside of the house for fear of dropping it. At $80 it's a chance I don't want to take. I also would love to see a bigger selection in software....dinosaurs and Rescue Heroes holds no appeal to my daughter and that leaves a VERY limited selection for girls in my opinion.

All in all, if your child is a budding artist this is a great tool for them and it will hold their attention. I have to be honest in saying that my daughter's number one request for Christmas was "go go my walking pup" and didn't even know what Pixter was......Go-Go is sitting still under the tree all alone and Pixter Color is the favorite. It's the toy she picked to take to her cousin's house...(she gets to pick ONE toy to take)

I'm glad I purchased this and I would do it again...... ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars rescue heros mission select
i just bought this toy for my friend and he love it. it is a nice toy and looks like it is made well, you have to use mission select figures though ,whitch are kind of hard to find since this is an old model toy, but i managed to locate a few whitch is enough to work with this toy and so other pieces that add on like the car and fire truck. i really like the fact that this toy will keep a child occupied for a couple of hours and tweaches them to use imagination.its a real fun toy for the child and his dad a 5 star for fisherprice and 5 stars for targets great price, and extreamly fast shipping. happy holidays.

5-0 out of 5 stars What's the fuss!! Great toy!!
I've read a lot of the reviews some negative. Parents whine about how long it took to put together, the crane, spotlight and Radar coming off. Let me point something out that explains why they did this. The reason why these parts come off easy is because kids can be rough with parts that move. Imagine if the spotlight was fixed on and a kid leaned on it or yanked it to get a figure off. It would snap right off and you wouldn't be able to get it back on. As far as the crane, well, put a figure on it and hold it with one hand and use the free hand to work the winch. Simple as that. Okay, before you say, its easy for us adults to expect this from kids, but you teach a kid how to do this and from then on they do it. My son was 3 when he got this toy and he's now 4.5 and never cries or complains about what I read these other reviewers mention.

The toy is great. Hook up your mission select figures to it and they talk about the mission. It's great. My son loves to have his characters "Talk about the mission" as he puts it. And my 1.5 year old comes and pushes the button to hear them talk. There are a lot of pieces, just take your time putting it together and play with your kids. It's a lot of fun!

5-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed in the durability of this toy.
I bought this for my nephew's 3rd birthday. He was so suprised when he saw it and he wouldn't stop playing with it. He was using the "cat condo" for the Heroe's to run their missions before he got the MACC. I know the cats are thankful for this gift. I think it's a great toy if you have a Rescue Hero fanatic in your house. However, like others have stated, the crane is not very sturdy, and that's my nephew's favorite part of the toy. Whenever he tries to use it the whole thing pops off of the top of the command center. I was having to hold it on while he played with it. Hopefully his grandpa can rig it so it works for him.

Luckily I got this on sale at Toys R Us for $29.99 so I'm not so put out by this designing flaw since grandpa will find a way to make it work. But I do feel for those who spent $69.99 on this toy. I would not recomment paying that kind of price for this type of quality.

All in all its a fun toy for the Rescue Hero's fan in your house but it does require a little aftermarket repair on your part for it to function properly.

5-0 out of 5 stars We love this toy
Bought this for our son for his 5th birthday. He loves it. It did take an hour or so to put together. But we did it the night before. We also bought the Mission Firetruck to go with it. Yes you do have to by the Mission Rescue Heroes so it will talk, but it was well worth it. Our eight year old daughter plays with him, she likes it also. We also have a one year old daughter and it is nice to have out, because the pieces are not to small for her. All in all we are pleased with the toy and would recommend it to others.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is awful
As a parent of a 4 yr old, I must say this is his and my least liked toy. It was a gift from his grandparents, so I didn't pay for it, but I personally would not buy it for even less than $5. It took forever to set up, is awkward to play with and the 'missions' are jumbled and uninspired. I wish I had kept the box, I would have returned it. ... Read more

Home to evil Lord Dragomont, this massive fortress sports a huge dragon's head centered above a set of swinging gates. Lights flash and alerts sound when the dragon's mouth opens. Turning a knob on the back makes "hot lava" flow to the right of the stone entryway steps. Further to the side rest two stone platforms, one above the other, equipped with a trap door that opens when a secret spot is hit. The toy's quality is decent but not mind-blowing. It comes with a 26-minute cartoon video, Fortress of the Dragon; also included are action figures of Lord Dragomont, a small red lizard, and a winged red dragon that shoots a missile out of its chest. Welcome Baby to the brave new world of interactive books with this LeapPad-styled talking picture book system. As with regular books, grownups will want to introduce their tots to the concept, sitting together at first and pointing out pictures and words. Soon they can advance to the interactive part: touching words, objects, holes, icons, or textured spots on the pages to hear descriptive phrases, music, words identified, and fun sounds. More than 100 songs can be heard, and with the purchase of additional stories and cartridges, the opportunities for fun learning are endless. The Baby Animals book (included) is simple and colorful, with recognizable critters in their own settings. The system allows three modes to play: Story, Explore, and Surprise. Let Baby’s fingers do the exploring! Four AA batteries required (not included). --Emilie Coulter ... Read more

Editorial Review

Budding young pastry chefs can get some early training in the culinary arts with this pretend kitchen. Kids can make, bake, and decorate toy goodies in this workstation, which includes a refrigerator, overhead pantry, and side storage for ingredients; a stovetop with burners and knobs and an oven for cooking treats; and a sink for cleaning up. The magic oven appears to actually "bake" the seven different sweets that come with the kitchen by changing their color when "cooked." Kids can refer to the built-in cookbook to see what treats should look like before and after baking. An icing bag with a soft tip lets kids decorate their masterpieces after they come out of the oven. Other vital kitchen accessories in the set include a mixing bowl, a baking dish, two serving plates, a potholder, a pitcher, two water goblets, a spatula, a fork, a spoon, a whisk, a cake stand, four cake toppers, cake mix, a milk carton, an egg, and a phone. The oven operates on three D batteries (not included). --Cristina Vaamonde ... Read more

boring
We had bought this kitchen for my 20 month old daughter after we saw how much fun she had with a garage sale 1950's kitchen that a freind had. We chose the higher price tag kitchen hoping it would grow with her and for the snazzy picture on the box.

This kitchen is BORING!!
Only the stove makes noise or lights up and it cooks too long.
It does not have a sprayer for the sink and the pantry is too high. Also none of the accesories fit in the pantry. Also small children are not intrested in specially preparing to cook and have colors change they just want to walk up and play with it.
And the kitchen comes with lady bug stickers which once applied I could not remove and my daughter is afraid of them.
Even when she does attempt to play with this toy " she ends up yelling bug the whole time. I am very upset that I made a rash decision and paid (...) for this kitchen that is not up to parr when this will probably be the only kitchen she has. It would not make sense to buy yet another.

{Parents this is just one more reason to always check the online reveiw of toys)

Not worth the money!
We bought this for our daughters 3rd birthday. The kitchen we wanted to get her was not in stock at the time. She picked this one out, I think because of the colors and cookies in the picture.

I was not happy with it but I figured she liked it so that is all that mattered.

After it was put together I realized I really didn't like it and wanted to return it.

The refrigerator was cheesy, the plastic that it was made of was the kind that if she or her soon to be climbing brother climbed on it it would break into sharp pieces.

Every time she opened the oven door, it would hit her toes. I had to remember to freeze the part that goes in the oven so it would bake the dessert which I always forgot to do. Plus it was in our basement which is a bit on the cool side so the food never went back to the uncooked state.

The knob to turn on the oven was hard for me to move let alone my 3 year old.

I was not happy with this toy and I love Fisher Price toys too. (...)P>The only good thing about this kitchen was the play cups, they were cute.

Great Kitchen for Two
I got this for my two and four year old for christmas 2003. They play all the time with it. Remembering to keep the color changing device frozen can be hard but they play just as much without it. The oven door was a little hard to open at first but it has been broken in and works great now. I did not put this toy together so I do not know about the hardships of it. All I know is my girls love it and use it almost everyday. It came with two sets of color accessories so that worked out great. Even though one does not work as well as the other it pacifies the urge to not share.

FRUSTRATING!!
I bought this on sale AFTER Christmas in 2003 knowing it would be a good purchase for my 3 year old daughter. She LOVES to cook and was thrilled when I FINALLY got it put together.

I agree that the oven door NEVER shuts and the refrigerator door comes OFF all the time. We never could get the sounds to work.
BUT since I got it 50% off, it was worth that amount of money.

If you're paying full price, think again- spend a little extra and get a deluxe play kitchen.

Not to happy!
If I had it to do over again, I would not suggest this kitchen. The oven door does not stay closed and my daughter gets so mad trying to shut it over and over again. Even though all the items that come with this kitchen are cute, its not worth the hassle of making the food change colors. Think twice before you purchase this one!! ... Read more

A great way to learn!
This toy is great! My son, Drew, loves playing with it. He gets so excited everytime he pushes one of the buttons & another letter, number, shape, or song is said or sang (also, appears on the screen). Drew is learning the basics really well with this toy. I recommend this to anyone since it teaches in such a fun way! ... Read more

Great toy, worth the extra money for lights and sounds!
We bought this for our son's first birthday. He LOVES it! I wasn't sure if the lights and sounds were worth the extra money (above the older version of this toy) but it definitely was! The music and lights are what make this toy one of his favorites! He loves to sit on it and rock. It's great that the music starts (in ROCK mode) as soon as he moves it. I can see that this toy will be one of his favorites for a while! I also like that this is a good replacement for a regular rocking horse....we don't need one now since we have this. Plus, this will be used for many more years than a small rocking horse. We'll probably get him a wooden one when he's 3 or 4 years old, but for now this is enough rocking for him!

Horrible
The foot pedals disappear and my sons feet drag and go under if parents don't notice right away which is painful. The handle for parents doesn't stay in place which is a pain. And it is almost impossible for parents to turn when they are dealing with kids who still can't steer or pedal yet. My husband and I took our son outside with it once and never again. It isn't safe since it is such a struggle for parents to turn we have to practically drag it from left to right and since it doesn't have a seat belt my son almost fell off the side. He only uses it to rock on at home and will not be using it outside until he can pedal and steer on his own.

Extremely pleased
I bought this bike for my twin nephews for Christmas this past year. They were only 11 months old but loved them as they had just started walking and could climb all over them. Now that they are really mobile they love to push them while they are outside. It is great for them and easy on mom. The noises are great and one loves to rock to the music while the other likes to figure everything out on it. Definitely a great purchase!

Great item, but watch for the windshield
My 18 month old daughter received this item for Xmas. As she gained more confidence in rocking on it, she would rock faster/harder. As a result, she has had serious bumps and bruises from her head hitting the windshield. I have since removed the windshield. This has not used this as a tricycle yet, The musical capabilities are cute and not annoying for indoor use.

Three-in-one!
Gift was for our 1 year old grandson from a close friend of the family. It only took two (2) days for our grandson to figure out how to rock with it! The noises were appealing to him and not annoying to us. His mommy put the item together by herself within 20 minutes. Very easy to assemble. Can get himself off with some help from us but needs help getting on. Age bracket of 18 mos - 3 years is a good bracket. We have another grandson who will turn 1 in May. He will be getting one for his birthday as well. I love the idea of giving them their "first big wheel"! Don't have to wait until they are older. This toy grows with the child. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Designed to encourage early role play, this small, colorful amusement park is centered on a roller-coaster track that winds around a sharp curve. When the roller-coaster car hits the purple star that hangs from above, a monkey drops into a dunk tank. ("Ooh-ee-ah!") Sonya Lee can ride the freestanding, two-person rocket ship, while Smiley the Clown collects tickets or listens to music coming from the twirling teacups. This would be a fun, developmentally rich toy for preschoolers. Required, but not included, are three AA batteries. --Andy Boynton ... Read more

Fun and Cute!
I bought this for my 23 month old daughter yesterday, she LOVES it. She was so excited while I was putting it together. She will be keeping this at Grandma's house (she spends about 3 days a week there). My daughter especially loved the car ramp, she was over-joyed when I showed her this feature.

I also bought two extentions to this set (Little People Music Ferris Wheel & Little People Parading Pals), each of these are so cute and fun.

My daughter's Aunt thought it was such a cute toy (I think she will play with it too and she is 35!). Of course I am looking forward to playing with it myself. :)

I think this is a great investment. If something changes I'll edit this review.

For one player only
This is a cute toy, but if more than one child will be playing with it, get ready to rumble! There is only one car to go down the ramp (the highlight of the Fun Park), so it immediately created a problem when my two children began to play with it. They share pretty well, but this toy created unnecessary tension and spoiled the fun. These types of Little People toys used to come with at least two cars, so I have no idea why they would be so cheap as to include just one car and two "people."

Good bang for the buck
Bought for my 1 and 2.5 year olds. Helps youngest learn how to turn knobs, depress plunger, lift lever, snap together basic components, place little people in the ride seats and the car on top of the ramp. It also teaches cause and effect -- car goes down ramp, noises are heard and toy component drops down. The plunger toy component is very cool -- does not fling little people in any harmful way. Both boys get a good laugh out of this toy.

Almost Good
More like 2 1/2 stars in each catagory. I recently bought this to add to the enormous collection of little people toys my son already has. I think he has somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 Little People alone. I have many of the playsets and this is one of the mediocre sets. As with similar merry-go-round toys from FP the Little People end up in the dog food dish when my son cranks it up. Fllinnggg! I don't know if its possible to put an eye out with a little person but my son is unusually strong for his age and gets a certain joy out of watching things fly that were not meant to. If they can hit me in the face then.. I suppose they could hit him too. I need to be especially attentive when he has this toy out in the livingroom. ... Read more
