Strongly recomend
I have two girls. Both are a bit rough with toys. They are 2 and 5. They have had this toy for two years. It still works like new. I will be buying a second one because they fight over who is playing with it. They enjoy this toy very much even years later. I stronly recomend this toy.

Fun water play, unreliable sound effects
This was #1 on our 4 year old daughter's Christmas list last December. She still enjoys playing with it, but we are all disappointed with the lights and music. When she filled it with water shortly after receiving it, some water got into the speaker. Despite airing it out and replacing batteries, the music and lights no longer work. She was disappointed, but still likes to have her dolls and dollhouse pets go swimming. We were surprised that a toy that is supposed to be used with water is not designed well for use with water. Especially for the price, this was not one of the cheaper dollhouse accessories. So expect good play value but no "extras" with this one.

Cool Fun
We just bought this for our kids age 2 and 4. This is a great addition to any dollhouse collection. You can put water in it and push the button and a light comes on and it bubbles.(Every time you push the button it bubbles.)We use this with the old Fisher Price doll house. What?
There IS an African American doll by Fisher Price, on the very same page. How rude is it to post something like that before knowing for sure? This is a place for people who HAVE the toy to respond.

My daughter got this toy when she was born. I'm getting rid of it because like everyone else, the rattle hit her in the head and gave her a bruise. She's 7 months. My two year old sister had the same problem.

A Great Idea but...
My daughter got this as a christmas gift she is now 5 months. It's a great idea but they really need to change the age on it. The age range they give it is Birth and up. With the hard face and rattle I wouldn't give it to her. Even now at 5 months she holds thing but everything goes right into her mouth. So lying on the floor this doll would smack right onto her face. We do hold it up for her and shake the rattle she loves that and she laughs. When she is lying on her stomach she'll try to chew on the doll sometime spitting up on it. The doll is suppose to be washable. I washed it once and now the rattle is filled with water. It's a cute doll but not recommended for the age range they give it.

First Doll
My 10 month old daughter received this doll for Christmas and she absolutely fell in love with it. She takes her to bed with her and she goes everywhere with us. Lately she has taken to patting her. The only thing I would change would be the rattle. It's a little hard and large for this doll.

Great 1st doll for baby
I got this doll for my 16 month old daughter because she loves to cuddle and kiss all her stuffed animals, so i got her the baby and she rocks it and kisses it. i love that its soft.Another thing i need to address is the fact that the reviewer from detroit said they dont make em in black. well tell ya what THEY DO because the first few times i went to get the doll all they has was black dolls left on the shelf.

What happened?
I can't review this doll, because I didn't buy one for my little girl. You don't make this doll for African American girls. If Fisher Price did make it in African American, I would definatly purchase the doll for my Little Princess, and rate it. Thanks, but NO THANKS!!! ... Read more

Loved it!
i bought it for my 6 month old son; he loved it! He liked holding it while it vibrated and after a while he figured out how to push the button and make it meow/vibrate himself! He loves kitties.

Boring
I bought this toy because it was colorful and I figured my son of 7 months would enjoy the vibration ("bounce"). His interest lasted for no more then 2 minutes. After the toy stops making sounds he loses interest. There is nothing to grab a hold of (an arm or leg, tail even) much less to sooth his gums on. The entire toy lacks texture, it is entirely made of hard plastic. I do not recomend this toy for very active and highly alert infants.

The greatest!!!
My child LOVES this kitty! It is the cutest thing I have ever seen. It MEOWS and then play a tune and shakes like crazy. I take it with us everywhere we go! CUTE CUTE CUTE

Great Distraction Toy
This toy is probably intended for six month olds but my three month old daughter loves it aleady. No matter how fussy or cranky she may be as soon as she hears the kitty she gets easily distracted. She will even stop crying and start looking in the direction fron where the wiggly noise is coming. It is good for eye coordination for little babies.

This Pixter software cartridge fits in the expansion slot of the Pixter creativity systems. The Dino Draw software has four activity modes for lots of prehistoric fun. You can draw dinos freeform, use the starter scenery and digital stamps to make a picture, search for bones and put together puzzles of different dinosaurs, and even feed the extinct critters. As with the other black and white Pixter software we played with, the activities are fun but we found the graphics to be primitive--some were just plain hard to figure out. This Pixter software cartridge fits in the expansion slot of the Pixter creativity systems. With the black and white Rescue Hero Mission Masters software, you can choose from four mission locations: arctic, sea, wilderness or city. Within those mission locations, you have four activities to choose from. When you select the Scene Starters activity, you get your rescue mission assignment from Warren Waters. With Scene Starters, you can use digital stamps, shapes, or freeform drawing to add to one of the Pixter backgrounds. If you stamp a picture of a dog in the landscape, Warren Waters will tell you about a rescue involving animals that are in danger; if you put the fire stamp on something, he'll tell you there is a fire emergency, and so on. HORRIBLE!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
As a mother I would have known better than to buy this toy. But my 2.5 year old daughter was at the toy store with her Papow and wanted this....ONLY BECAUSE SHE SAW DORA ON IT. So he bought it, brought it home and then realized he had made a mistake. The ring is TOO BIG, the bracelet is TOO SMALL, and the neckelace is TOO BULKY. My poor child tries to play with this but it is so poorly designed that she hurts herself trying to wear the bracelet and the necklace is practically as large as her head.
Do yourself a favor don't buy this. There are many other Dora toys out there that are cute and worth the money.

nice toy
This toy keeps my two year old occupied more than my four year old. Although it does teach kids the basic words in spanish, like "lago" for lake and "el camino" for the word road, etc, so from that perspective it is educational, but it doesn't hold an older child's attention for very long (4 and up). I would recommened this for ages one to two years of age since repetition is what they enjoy. As for its durability, my son has thrown it around on numerous occasions as the toy is still working like new.

Ehhhh.....
Not an awful toy, but not fabulous. We haven't had to bang it on the floor, but my daughter just doesn't seem impressed by it. I think there's not enough of a "result" when you find the things, so it doesn't hold her attention.

Disappointed
Our daughter received this toy for Festivus. I must agree with the other review, you have to bang it against the ground sometimes in order for it to work. We are returning it!

Fun and Easy
My 2 1/2 year old enjoys this toy. The repetion is the best thing for this age. From watching Dora, she can count to 10 in Spanish and say Gracias and De Nada at the appropriate time. This toy will continue the excitement and enjoyment of learning Spanish phrases.

Hard to get it started
Although this toy is reasonably fun for a two year old, we have a hard time getting it to turn on. We have to smack it against the floor very hard, sometimes several times, to get it to work. This was true the very first time we tried to turn it on after removing the demonstration tab. ... Read more
