4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game, Too pricy though..
This is one of the very first RE games that i have played (playstation version) & is my favorite RE game, or was actually.. until they remade the first RE game (Resident Evil 1). Like i said this was my favorite game because not only cuz of the graphics but the storyline was soo great in this, and the music scared the heck out of u. When i heard capcom remaking the RE games i was soo excited (except for the fact they were remaking them on the gamecube), anyways i got over that at least cuz i now have a Gamecube (got it for less then 80bucks) well they had the resident Evil remake and so i was waiting for the RE 2 & 3 remakes and when i saw the screen footage for it, i was like what is this a joke or are they really just throwing the same game from playstation to the GC. I was really dissapointed.. what is the point in buying the same game with the same stuff in it as what i have. U know i even bought a new RE2 on psOne for $14.99 cuz it was in a thinner case. Thats how much i like this game. But when i heard they smoothed the graphics a bit im thinking ok sounds good enough to buy right?? Not really.. i saw the price to be too high, $39.99.. i was thinking, why in the world would u spend that much money on something that wasnt really fixed up.. u spent that amount on the remake of RE1 and got alot out of it, the same for RE 0. but even though its dropped now its still kinda expensive. really $29.99 should have been its original price when it first came out then drop down to like $20 or something.. but nope.. so my suggestion is if u havent played this RE game yet.. buy it.. if u have played it then i would probablly wait til they drop it down again b4 buying it.. or just keep looking on here for a good price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great game, if you don't already own it
I never owned the original version of this game, so I was happy when it was ported over to the gamecube. This game features slightly improved backgrounds to the original port, and has some awesome characters. Gameplay is like any RE game.

What makes this game (arguably) the best of the series? Each character (Leon and Claire) has two scenarios, an A and a B. If you play through one character's A scenario, you will then play through the opposite character's B scenario, which is the harder of the two scenarios. Therefore, you must beat this game a total of 4 times to truly beat it, which provides excellent replayability. Each scenario reveals more of the story until eventually you know the whole story. There are also a ton of minigames 3 extra characters, Hunk, Tofu, and a character who makes a return to the series, but I don't want to spoil it. The "boss" of the game, William Birkin, constantly mutates and starts to look amazing. If you've played RE Outbreak, you'll see this guy in the opening video totally remade. The game features a great story as well, as is the style of the series. This game proves that graphics aren't everything, although I still hope it will be graphically overhauled some day.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun game should be owend by any fan of the series
Resident Evil 2 follows aroung Claire and Leon two unlucky strangers who stumble into Racoon city. Any fan of the RE series would completely love this gameeven if it has some glitches and not so great graphics.

1-0 out of 5 stars Unless you don't have the original don't get this.
I had so much fun with Resident Evil 2 in late 1998. It was one of the scariest, hearthrobing, pants wetting experience of all time back then. Keyword: Back then. Don't get me wrong, Resident Evil 2 is an awesome game but buying this version isn't like going to the store and picking up Final Fantasy Anthology vs. paying 80 dollars for the original SNES cartridge. YOU CAN STILL FIND RE2 ON THE PSX AND BUY IT FOR LESS THAN 40 DOLLARS!

RE2 isn't a bad game but with the overhaul re-release of Resident Evil 1, it would've been great to see RE2, the best one in the series, get the same makeover. Well, it didn't. This is a direct port of the original PSX version. It runs smoother on the gamecube but the graphics remain the same and all the elements of the gameplay remain the same as well.

Usually a port or rerelease has something to tweak it up a bit. Maybe add in a small bonus or even just smoothen out the graphics. But the re-release of RE2 does no such thing.

This is bad, especially for RE2. In 1998 this was the scariest game of all time! When this was re-released the fear that was in the game is wasted and gone. You won't jump anymore or anything like that. IF you don't have the PSX version and you don't have a PSX or PS2 then you can get this game. If you have a PSX but don't have the game then get it on PSX instead. The 40 dollar price tag is too expensive for a game that the exact version can be found with ease.

3-0 out of 5 stars Big Disappointment
My first experience with RE was the re-make of the original game for Gamecube. I thought is was great, and quickly ran out to get RE Zero. The two-player feature made that game unique and interesting as well, so I bought RE 2. This was a big disappointment. I didn't know it at the time, but this is NOT a re-make -- it's just basically the old playstation game re-formatted to work on Gamecube. The graphics are cartoonish, and the characters look like puppets. The game format also is inferior to RE and RE Zero. If you choose "arranged" game, you start with an infinite rocket launcher and machine gun, which makes the game FAR to easy (even for a poor player like myself). My big "final" battle only took one shot from the rocket launcher. In the "normal/original" game, you start with Claire or Leon. After a few hours, you're done and then you're supposed to start over with the other character. The game is slightly different with the other character, but not enough to make it interesting. Also, for me, it was impossible to unlock the bonus game. I work 60 hours a week, and can only play in 1/2 to 1 hour blocks. If you "save" the game, it hurts your ranking and you can only get the bonus game with an "A" ranking on both characters. There also was nothing particularly new about the story line, except this time it's the "G" virus instead of the "T" virus. On the positive, there was a lot of action, and some new monsters, and it kept me entertained. However, CAPCOM should be ashamed for selling this game for $40, when you can get the same game in the playstation format for around $10. This will be my last RE purchase. For $40, I'd rather get a new release of something else. ... Read more

best sonic game ever
When i bought the mariokart game and got the demo disk istarted it and saw this cool new sonic game which i had heard of so,i watched the intro movie, when i saw it , the movie showed that there are 4 teams team sonic, team dark ,team rose and team choatix.the intro movie showed sonic with knuckles and tails, and the next if it showed rouge, gamma ,and (the thought to be destroyed, but the reason why shadow is alive is that he is immortal). the movie also shows that eggman has created the newest evil a new robosonic that is bent to terrorize the world.well besides the movie that gameplay rocks since the teams have team blasts, where sonics teams pinballs, and where shadows team uses chaos control, basically i would have to say that whoever was brilliant enough to make this game , knows that true blue sonic fans love challenges and that is why i give this game 5 stars . all this game needs is a two player mode for battle and then this could be the greatest of all the sonic games created by the sonic team , developed by sega, oh and this game should be for the ps2 and gamcube only.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Game!
I have played the game on the Demo Disk that came with Mario Kart and it's really fun! There are four teams, Team Sonic, with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Also, there's Team Amy with Amy, Big the cat, and Creme the Rabbit, which has been in Sonic Advance 2. The is also Team Dark with Rogue, A new robot character, and Shadow (How he survived the events at the end of Sonic Adventure 2 still remains a mystery i guess), and there is team Chatoix with a aligator, a bumble bee, and a chameleon.
This has solid gameplay, and stay true to the platforming and the high-speed action that Sonic fans have come to love. Each Team member has a special purpose, like Sonic is there to get you past the sections where you need speed, Tails is there when you need to fly to a new height, and Knuckles is there if you need to break an obstacle.
The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is because it is out for the XBOX AND PLAYSTATION!!! Why!!!!!??? Playstation and xbox are so stupid. They have to steal good games and they will take a good game like that down with them. I don't mind that much about ps2, but xbox is just giving it a bad name. They have no good games, so they finally see one thats good and they take it.
Anyways, buy this game if you are a Sonic fan, a fan of platformers, or if you just want to have a lot of fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars It's all about the Heroes!!!
Sonic Heroes haas the best music,Grapics & All charaters are better than ever!!!!!!!!! Sonic is athe coolest cutest and smartest thing around!!! Sonic Tails and Knuckles Make agreat team! Choose out of Team Sonic Team Dark Team Rose&Team Chaotix. And just to spoil the fun....(Sorry) If you seen the opening movie (the second one not the first one with cute Knuckles the one with all of the singing)The Metal Sonic's name is Metallix. Also get all Chaos Emeralds when youre trying to beat each team so when you do you can just go to the last Story. Good Luck!!!!! (Oh! Say hi to both of my Boyfriends!! Sonic and Knuckles!!!!) Good Luck!! Amy and Tikal!!

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST SONIC GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is better than any classic Sonic game, or even the Adventure games! I loved those too, but this is the ultimate! You get to play as 4 teams with some of your favorite carachters. The teams are: Team Sonic (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles)(DUH!), Team Dark (Shadow, Rouge, Omega), Team Rose (Amy, Cream, Big), and Team Chaotix (Espio, Charmy, Vector)... I beat the whole game with all 4 teams, and the last story too!! I dont wanna spoil any last story info, to those who havent beat it. Im gonna tell the storylines of the 4 teams story modes...

Team Sonic: While Sonic races around the rocks in the mountains, Tails and Knuckles come back and give Sonic an evil letter from Eggman. Eggman: MUHAHAHAHA!! Guess what, Sonic Heroes?! Ive finally devoloped the ultimate weapon and will conquer the world in 3 days! Think you can stop me!? MUHAHAHAHA!! Oh, that dumb robot, he always thinks he can really destroy Sonic. Back to the story. Then, Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles speed off to find Eggman.

Team Dark: Rouge breaks into Eggman's base to find his secret treasure. But, suddenly in this room, she finds Shadow, only to find out that he has amneisa! What also happens is Rouge accidently frees E-123 Omega, the most powerful E-Series robot. Omega: Must eraticate all Eggman's robots! Eggman just sealed him away, and didnt pay any attention to him. Eggman! OK, then, Rouge, Shadow, and Omega join forces to look for Eggman, and to try to get Shadow's memory back.

Team Rose: It's a lovely day... Amy reads the newspaper, and finds Sonic, Froggy, and Chacola. Chacola is Cheese The Chao's brother. And, yall know Froggy, hes Big's pet and buddy. Suddenly, the newspaper and Cream get blown by the wind. Big catches Cream with his fishing rod... Cream & Big look in the newspaper too, and are sad to find Chacola and Froggy missing. So, they set off to find Froggy, Chacola, and Sonic...

Team Chaotix: This is their second appearence. They were orignally with Knuckles in a game called Knuckles Chaotix. Ok... It's a lazy day in the Chaotix Dective Agency's place, until Charmy comes in and finds a delivery. When they open it, a radio with a strange voice is tellin them that he can pay them handsomly. Charmy & Vector just are delighted and have cash in their eyes! LOL! Espio has a bad feeling about it. Vector: Espio, dont be silly! You know our policy, we never turn down work that pays. Charmy: Yeah, you know our policy! So, they head off to get their rewards. Im not spoiling who the clinet really is.

OK, that was it, everyone. Peace.

P.S. Buy this game if you have a Gamecube, XBOX, or PS2 ASAP!

2-0 out of 5 stars Youre not missing anything if you dont have this.
Yeah most people either love this or hate it but I just thought it was alright. It was a mediocre game plain and simple. For one thing the graphics dont look any better than the previous 3D Sonic games.Bright and colofful big deal.Ive seen it before.Controls are alright.Challenge well I have to admit the Dark Team is pretty damn hard but other than that if you want a challenge buy Resident Evil or Ocarina Of Time.Overall this was a very bland game and its a shame that not one decent platform game for this system has come out this year. ... Wow, out of control fun times. You mite have noticed that in 2004, you felt like the company didnt care about you. Well it feels like they do now with this game. They finally have a dunking contest mode which will need practice, dont give up rite away. The regular gameplay has also improved a bunch. I only think that they coulda made the 3 point shootout a little more difficult. Any NBA Live fan would have good times with this game. Definatly recamend it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST!!!!!!!!
this game is really amazing. from the actually seeing what you r shooting ur web at 2 the walking on the street. the graphics r awesome also.gameplay is great(i got for gamecube dont no about other systems). wut i liked the most is that u can actually go onto the street in this game. u can decide between doing the story missions or solving random street crimes(or helping a little kid get his balloon back).its awesome that u can actually web swing from a helicopter but im not sure if u can grab on to it.(...) i beat the game already.(its not short i just played for a really long time). Well anyways i definitely recommend this game spiderman fan or not

5-0 out of 5 stars Spider Man is Back!
All right, first of all, let me state that I LOVED the fist Spider Man! But, the bad thing about it was how you would swing from your web... which was attached to nothing!
But, in this game you NEED to find a building, pole, or whatever to swing around the city. That is, unless you want to become a little stain on the sidewalk.
Another cool feature is the random crime generator! In other words minor crimes appear around the city! (Reminds me of True Crime: Streets of LA). Example: You're swingin' through the city and, all of a sudden, you hear a cry for help! What to do? You could just ignore the crime, and let people get hurt, or you could drop in on that A**wipe and beat the living hell outta him! I, myself, would want to teach him a VERY painful lesson.
Now you know why Spider Man 2 is gonna rock! Oh, and don't forget to watch the movie!

5-0 out of 5 stars spider-man 2 is awesome
doc ock is fun to fight and the new web system makes it more like a real spider-man game. and now you can go on the ground.the villians are doc ock, rhino, mysterio, calypso, and shocker.bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Boring.
Though miles better than the (awful) first game this still suffers from major bore. The free-roaming gameplay would be great if there were a bit more variety and things to do.

The main problem is that the gaming area is absolutely immense. While this may be a good thing (a whole state is your gaming area in the upcoming GTA: San Andreas) there are very few definitive landmarks to give you some kind of orientation. It's based on the real New York, with all the famous buildings, but literally hundreds of streets look the same and it's very, very easy to get hopelessly lost. Plus the only method of travel is swinging. Yes, it's cool, but very slow considering the area you have to cover and not to easy to control unless your a genius with the control pad.

And the missions are all the same. Stop an armoured car hijack, stop a guy stealing a car, save some idiot hanging off a building, beating up nameless thugs, save some guy hanging off a building, stop some guy stealing a car, save some guy hanging off a building...boring. When you complete a mission that should be it done for the whole game, none of this again and again and again trash. The average score for completing these missions is 250 hero points...you need 1, 000, 000 to reach Doc Ock at the end of the game. Sorry I ain't sticking around long enough to 4000 tedious missions.

The only cool thing about this game is that it's narrated by Bruce Campbell. The rest seems like a rushed movie tie-in, not a real game.

The Best
I tried this game at my friends house on PS2 and i Loved it. I could of played it the whole day. I have Gamecube, so a day later i went out to buy it. Its awesome. The best game. I loved the first one and this was much much better. Its more like the movie. U get missions and everything its the BEST! U swing on wall not just from the sky. u can buy stuff to improve ur skills its awesome! Get this game. U wont regret it!!!!!! Its just fun to even swing around and do nothing. Some missions are to beat thugs and then (this is the best part) go after them in a car chase just like in the 1st movie!! U never run out of web either ITs awesome Buy It!!!! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Really Fun! Great for All Ages!
Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban is a great game. As a teenager, even I loved playing the game even if I did finish it rather quickly (a week.) Still, it had great puzzles, fun collecting cards and beans, and had lots of new features like switching between characters and flying on Buckbeak, Hagrid's hippogriff. I'd definitely recommend this game even if you didn't read the books. It sticks to the movie plot for the most part and features tons of challenges and secrets. The only reason I gave it a 4 was due to some small difficulties with controls. The characters walks really slowly which can get annoying after a while since walking around the castle takes a while for those a bit impatient like me. It's also a little hard to get characters to jump across ledges which can be a bit annoying, but overall the game's positives far outweigh its tiny downfalls. I highly recommend it.

3-0 out of 5 stars The dementors r coming. BOO!!
This game is fun to play I really liked it. But there are pros and cons. Pros- Fly Buckbeak, Many spells but ur 3 characters can all use diff ones, Pretty good missions.
Cons- graphics are sometimes better sometimes worse, no quidditch, slow loading and movement reaction, bad replay value,
bad aiming. But all in all its a fairly good game it doesnt follow the movie and book very buch but oh well. My advice rent dont buy.

1-0 out of 5 stars SO BORING!!!!!!!
This game is bad. You have to do stupid tasks like find the spellbook. Also it's annoying and hard. The only fun thing is hitting other Hogwarts suudents with spells.

This Game Rocks
This is a great game for Harry Potter Fans! If you are about 10-15 and you love Harry Potter this is the game for you! It has Great Graphics, Fun Mini-Games, Great Storyline, and soooooo much more! This game is not good for young kids who cannot read because they won't know what to do. Great fun and a challenge for older kids and adults who like Harry Potter! Before you buy this game for a young child explain to them that it is just a game or they might have nightmares about Dementors or Doxys.

Thank You
-12 year old Gamer!

an okay game. nothing great
Being a huge Harry Potter fan, of course I was going to buy this game, for myself and my son. But I have to say, I was slightly disappointed in the whole set up. The graphis are wonderful! Being able to change characters is very neat. But the game was to short. I was expecting more of a challenge. The first game, Sorcers Stone, was more indepth than this one. And it lasted a little longer. It is worth buying, but don't expect a whole lot. But then again, the movie based on the 3rd book wasn't that great either. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Code veronica x is incredible
This game is one of the best resident evil games in the series. It has zombies, gore, and big guns! What more could you ask for in a game? And if you beat it fast enough you unlock Battle mode with an option between 1'st and 3'rd person veiw modes! The only real complaint about this game that I had was that the grafics arnt that good and it looks like the originals did. But other that its still one of the best resident evil games ever made. A must have if you want to know more about the story of Clair's search Chris and more story behind wesker. Please buy this game as soon as possible, I cant get enough of it.

2-0 out of 5 stars This is a great game
...But it's not worth $40 unless you have never owned a playstation 2 or dreamcast. If you have this game already and are thinking that it has been completely remade like the first game, that's simply not true. This game has no graphic touch ups and no extra videos (the review here that said there was extras, he was referring to the extras in CVX as opposed to the original CV on the dreamcast. This is the PS2 game ported to the game cube. I.E. The exact same game as the PS2 version.

Shame on Capcom for not remaking all of their resident evil games...they can't justify making this game $40 while you can get the remake for $20 right now. If you have a gamecube and have not played RE 0 or the Remake, you should get those before you even consider this one. Wait until it goes down to $20. And if you have a PS2-this is definitely worth a pick up at the $20 price. The storyline is excellent, the cut scenes are pretty good. Anime? I'm sorry but I don't know what that guy was talking about.

Amazing.
This game is beyond cool. It's the best action/adventure/stragety game ever. Now, I don't know why some give the Gamecube verson of Resident Evil: Code Veronica X three stars rather than giving it four like the PS2 version. They're both the same anyway.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best in the series!
This is one of the best games in the RE series. The only other game in the series is the original Resident Evil. The main reason this game is great is because it is immensely fun in every way possible. It is also has one of the greatest characters in the RE series. Chris Redfield! The story in this game is one of the best. I had tremendous fun playing this game. The only bad thing about this game for the Gamecube is that it is [highly priced]. (...)

This an excellent game and don't let anyone let you tell you otherwise!

1-0 out of 5 stars Same Game for $39.99, No Way!!

3-0 out of 5 stars The game is fun...but the story mode is lacking at points
Fisrt off let me say that this game is a lot of fun for a group of buddies to blast the heck out of each other. The controls and camera could certainly be better, but it's good mindless "shoot em up" fun. The single player story mode falls a bit short in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, the actual story is good, but I prefer more actual choices. Any deviation from where the story wants you to go (like wandering around rather than going straight home) ends up being just a waste of time. There are also very frustrating situations where you are REQUIRED to talk to each and every person in the area before the story will advance (Including 2 characters who's entire words of wisdom are that they aren't important enough to even have names.) I prefer more choice in my adventure games, even if I am still having fun. This is more of an RPG on rails and it falls short of being a truly awesome game. Hopefully we'll get a sequal that lives up to its potential because the game really is a lot of fun otherwise.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good old fashioned RPG fun -Mech Style!
This game is even better than I expected it to be. It was underrated by video game magazines, probably because it's kind of "old school". What I mean is that there are no voice actors, all the characters speak only in message boxes with pictures of their faces beside them showing various expressions; just like in Grandia. I think that's actually fun! Grandia (the first one) would have been better with no voice actors because the voices were bad!

In this game, you can customize your fighter from the body armor type to the sorts of weapons and legs, each giving you different abilities based on how you like to fight. I'll admit that I really got addicted to that sort of customization ever since Final Fantasy Tactics.

The story of this game impressed me too. All the characters are really fun, including the NPCs, and there's some great manga/anime style humor all throughout the game. The only thing that would have made the game better is if it were a little longer and the story were not as linear; but I could say the same thing about MOST RPGs!

I highly recommend Custom Robo!

5-0 out of 5 stars BEST ROBOT GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Bond game yet!
James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing is by far the best James Bond game yet. The graphics are great, although it is viewed from a 3rd person view (where you see yuor entire character, not just the gun). At first, this might not seem great. However, it ends up working very well.

James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing has great varity. The third person view makes stelth easier. The manual aim feature (like in Nightfire) puts you in frist-person ofr precies aiming. There is a fairly forgiving auto-aim feuture, as well. There are driving levels, with a better variety of cars. There are also more explosions, more opportunities to use tight-ropes, and the levels have multiple ways of being beaten.

James bond 007: Everything or Nothing is one of the best games around. The multiplayer mode offers 4 players, with lots of levels, but obviously, no online, but Gamecube gamers' top priority is not online. It is a must buy title.

4-0 out of 5 stars Amazing
This game is REALLY fun. the graphics are soooooo good. and the missions aren't too hard but they arent too easy. the controls are really easy to get used to. it's also a lot better because it's 3rd person mode and not first so you can actually see james bond. something that makes it easier though is that if you press the L button it automatically aims at someone so you just press that button and start shooting and it will hit someone. but if the person is too far away it won't always hit him. the only thing i really dont like about this game is the multi player mode. not the co-op mode but the arena. it's really dumb. you can play with four players but it's just a small room and theres only one screen and you can't really hide anywhere or anything like that. all you have to do is get a gun, press L, and then start shooting and you will hit the person. i was expecting a lot more for the multi player. but the co-op mode is SO fun. and it's a lot better because you have some one else right next to you and so if you need backup you have it. they're all very different levels than the ones in the one player mode. BUY THIS GAME. just dont try the arena in multi player. but other than that multi player, it's really fun

5-0 out of 5 stars This is bond at ...
This is bond at his best. If you are a fan of goldeneye, then its a must have! Best of all this is the only bond game so far that plays like as if it was a real movie, and feels like you are really 007. If you love bond and have a GBA or SP with the connection cable for the gamecube you can get extras out of this game. Also this game is hard, but thats what happens when you are a SPY.

4-0 out of 5 stars Okay but ...
The best part about this game is the co-operative two player mode, it's challenging and more fun to have another player playing with you. The worst part about this game is the other multiplayer modes, like VS, it has the worst camera angle because it's only on ONE screen and the play area is only the size of the screen, there is no where to hide or make traps like place trip bombs, etc. A really, REALLY disappointing VS mode, especially compared to Nightfire. The new Bond view is actually a good change. One player is OK, still not as good as some of the other Bond games...but still a good play, I'd probably just rent this one 1 or 3 times until you beat it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Way too hard!
I bought this a few months ago and was surprised to find that there is no multiplayer. You have to play the one person game which is imposible! So I tried playing the Co-op mode. That is just impossible. A little chalange is fun but this is not! I do not recomend it for the price. I would defenatly rent it or buy it at a resonable price. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Goodness
Awesome game for kids! There are some problems with the camera angles that I fight with, but overall it's a good game. It's not so difficult that you get hung up trying to get past this certain part. You can actually sit back and enjoy the game. Graphics are excellent

5-0 out of 5 stars A joy for all family members
We gave our son the gamecube for Christmas and one of the games was Wallace & Gromit. I have never been a big fan of video games but once I tried W&G I was hooked. Our son loves it and my wife just laughs as he and I both try to get through the levels. The animation is outstanding and very fluid.

It has been frustrating for me to learn how to operate the controls but if they make another game with these guys I will buy it for our entire family!

3-0 out of 5 stars I wish it was better
I love Wallace and Gromit. I couldn't wait to play this game. However, I am disappointed. I found the graphics to be very well done, but the camera jumps so much that every time I play, I get motion sickness. Sometimes the camera jumps so much that you walk right off of platforms. It doesn't save automatically so if you forget, get ready to replay. I would still buy it, however, I would wait until the price drops...

5-0 out of 5 stars A Creative and Adventure-filled Game
This game stays true to the Wallace & Gromit series so well. The graphics are great and everything flows smoothly. In each level, Wallace and Gromit work through a series of unique areas in the zoo to rescue baby animals and catch up to Feathers, the evil penguin mastermind behind it all.

The great thing about Project Zoo is that as the Gromit character, you have the freedom to explore just about every inch of each area and get to do a lot of creative thinking and problem-solving in the process. It gets very, very challanging at times, but not impossible. The hidden bonus levels are fun to find and add nicely to the adventurous feel of the game. Wallace's role in all this is to build contraptions and weapons, but it is Gromit that has to...well...work like a dog (sorry) through each adventure-packed level. Very high entertainment value, family friendly and highly recommended.

5-0 out of 5 stars Stays true to the Wallace & Gromit series!
Being a big fan of the stop-motion animated Wallace & Gromit shorts, when I saw this game I knew I had to play it. There are 6 huge worlds (Amazons review says there are only 5, but trust me, there are 6) Each level has 3 sub-levels plus secret bonus levels. The object of the game is to free the animals that Feathers (That evil penguin) has captured from the zoo. Wallace and Gromit had adopted a polar bear from the zoo and went to visit him on his birthday, and discovered he'd been bear-napped by Feathers, along with many other animals. You must free each baby animal in the sub-levels, and then face Feathers and the end of each world.

The first world was somewhat easy, but very enjoyable. The graphics are smooth, and the characters look exactly the same. Wallace is voiced by the asme actor, so everything is true to the animated series. Gromit is the main controlled character, but Wallace will help out in certain situations when you call him (By pressing Y.) What I really like is that Wallace isn't constantly following right behind you. (Remember Sonic and Tails?)

The gameplay almost feels similar to Banjo Kazooie (One of my favorite games) I first thought it was going to be a somewhat simple kids game, but I was pleasently surprised to see the difficulty jump after the first world. It really is an enjoyable, cahllenging game whether you are a fan of the series or not. I definitely reccommend this game, especially for the upcoming holiday season. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars My girls LOVE Powerpuff girls
Okay, my girls are 7 and 3. they really love the Powerpuff Girls. Neither one of them really liked this game at all. The game really makes no sense. All you do is fly around and pick up things. And the controls make it too hard for my kids to do this so they just fly around and get bored in about 3 mintues. Plus it's boring to anyone who CAN work the controls(You have to use the R1 button I think to pick stuff up). Why not make it either easy enough for kids or interesting enough for adults or both? Anyway there really is nothing good about this game, and I love games. My 7 year old has more fun with Tony Hawk and Twisted Metal Black. This is just not fun at all for anyone. Kids will hate it and so will you. Don't waste you $15 or whatever you can find it for. ... Read more

Awesome!
this is a very, very cool game. its really scary too...wouldn't recommend it for young children. for people that like a good haunt and lots of action, this is the game for them. (great graphics + sound!)

5-0 out of 5 stars Disney meets Resident Evil????!!!!!!
I have to say that I am a huge fan of Resident Evil, but I have a young son who I play games with. Resident Evil is a little too much for him to say the least, so I saw this game and thought it would be a happy compromise. Like another reviewer states, don't let the Disney name fool you...it's not like Donald Duck is in a vampire costume and comes jumping out at you here. You get some pretty creepy ghosts and a decent level of puzzling games here. The graphics are great, the gameplay is smooth and fun, and unlike other "kiddie" games, this one will take longer than a weekend to beat. I have seen some comparisons here to Luigi's Mansion. I think Haunted Mansion is so much more engrossing on many levels. While I found Luigi's Mansion controls a bit complicated Haunted Mansion's actions were very easy, my 6-year old had them down in no time. There are some truly creepy moments in Haunted Mansion, the Giant Spiders were great, and you have to allow yourself to be webbed and pulled toward their venom dripping fangs in one room in order to win the room! And getting chased through a dark hidden passageway with a Harry Potter-like Dementor on your heels, all while your crystal ball is shouting directions to you made for some great gameplay! Now that this game is below $20, if you have even the slightest interest in playing a horror survival game, check out Haunted Mansion. This is, so far, the best game I have found for Game Cube!

4-0 out of 5 stars Hurry Back!
This game is a must for fans of the ride. It is fortunately not based on the movie, but rather the ride itself.

The game captures much of the whimsical "spirit" of the ride with just enough moments of eeriness to keep things interesting. This is primarily a puzzle game with each new room presenting a different problem in order to complete it.

There isn't much in the way of the ride's music except during the credits, but there are plenty of nods to the Disneyland version of the ride.

There are also a few annoying levels that once finished, you are glad you don't have to go through them again. However, the lure of the next room and the next puzzle overrides this.

This game may prove a bit short for highly skilled older gamers, but a pleasant diversion nonetheless.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Refreshing Fun Game for All Ages!
I was quite surprised with how fun the game was - it's not too scary that the kids cannot play, but it's scary enough that I get chills down my spine when those darn spiders come jumping out! Lots of exploring around the mansion to gather the lost souls with the help of the Madame in the globe, and meet other friendly ghosts....Animation is not bad, voice and sound is pretty darn good, the only objection - the locked controls - sometimes very frustrating! But overall, this is a great game! Hope the movie will be as good as the game! :)

5-0 out of 5 stars Cool Disney Game
I like this game. The whole collecting ghosts thing is reminescient of Luigi's Mansion. It's like that crossed with Eternal Darkness, except the graphics are right about in the middle of the two, not too cartoony and not too normal. There is a bunch of puzzles to solve to obtain all the spirits - 999 in total. Pretty cool, fun and moderately long and challenging. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't knock it until you try it.
First of all I'd like to say that I have played this game in both offline and online modes already.
Now most of the complaints about this game is about it being centered around turnbased cardplay, instead of the hack and slash exploration that made Phantasy Star Online Episode I and II what it was. Change is not always bad. I was skeptikal until Mr. Armion Ovlight, a well known gamer, allowed me to play with him. I was blown away at the complexity of the game. It requires you to think, and adapt. The game was well designed. Actual gameplay takes place on preset battlefields. These battlefields are B-E-A-utiful. Graphics were not spared there. And everything reacts, from grass swaying in the wind, to birds flying over head and sometimes scattering at intense moments. Musically, Card revolution improves on itself by introducing several new tracks. Dolby owners will love the soundtrack. What about the card gimmick? The cards are your items, armors, weapons, extra attacks, mags, and special moves. Of course if you are the darkside, many cards are replaced with Enemy cards. You will summon forth the creatures of Ragol to do your bidding. Your HL from Episode I and II carries over to Episode 3 as well as your guild card data.

Now the minuses are; character creation is useless as you will use a preset character in battle and your character will not be seen outside of Lobbies and pioneer 2.
AR cheats are already surfacing, though bans for using them are in progress
Online community, what can be expected Online with any game are a few troublemakers
Unbeatable cards; such as poufully slime, and the extremly rare ???, Flow, and Cell, cards.

all in all it's a great game.

4-0 out of 5 stars PSO Revolution
I was skeptical of this game at first, how could a cardgame live up to the great PSO standards? A risky change to be sure, especially since most cardgames out there are boring, repedative, and just not much fun. Luckily PSO EP3 is very innovative in its approach. Unlike most cardgames, EP3 actually adds depth to the gameplay by utilizing a grid system, one similar to FF Tactics, where you move your characters around and develop strategies and plans of attack. You use a deck of cards to summon creatures or use items to fight your opponent on this grid, depending on which character type your using. There are two different groups of characters. The Arkz, who use monsters that can move independently on the grid, or Heros, who use items that stay with the character and can be used to deal more damage to an oppenent. The two play very diffierently from each other and are well balanced, which gives you a lot of options for individualized strategy.
The game has two modes, online and offline. The offline mode has two options, story or free battle. The story mode is where you get new characters to build decks around and learn more about what happened after the events of Ep1+2. This is also an excellent place to start playing, collecting cards and learning the intricacies of the game. Free battle is where you are just tossed immediatly into a battle. The only real purpose I can see for this mode is to collect more cards.
Then we have the online mode. I advise you play the single player first, as otherwise your cards will be obsolete and you will be ripped apart by the other players. Online play has a couple very cool features, the best of which are tournaments. There are lots of tournaments and anyone can join, and you get meseta (the games currency) and more cards if you win. You can use meseta to buy more cards in a random drawing, or you can use it on the jukebox in the lobby. There is a list of songs, and whatever you pick is what everone in the lobby is going to hear.
You can also play in teams of two, which is great and adds even more depth to the game. Its also fun to play with your friends.
The games music is excellent and sets the mood.

This game is not perfect however, one of my biggest complaints is no voice chat. You will be forced to invest in a keyboard, as the in-game software keyboard just doesnt cut it. Another complaint is that the AI is dumb as rocks. If you get stuck with a computer as your partner online, you will lose. Another downside is that you have to pay about $8 a month to play online, however, you can use your old hunters license from Ep1+2 to play on Ep3. The fights online against more skilled opponents can be long and sometimes boring, but if you are that far in then you probably like the game anyway.

There are some other problems if you are new to the online mode in that you are going to be beaten to a pulp at first. You just won't have the cards to compete against other players online, even if you played the single player game for awhile.

I love this game, and despite its flaws, it is a solid game and I love playing it. Although this isnt for everyone, if you are a fan of the PSO series, you owe it to yourself to give it a chance.

5-0 out of 5 stars I gotta play it!
I luv card battling! This game looks like a card version of chess! I looked at the video clips and it looks awesome! But best of all, I luv 2 see the people die in the game fer some reason. I wonder who I should use. I cant wait fer Phantasy Star Universe to come out!

Good But remember
it is a great game but like all games that you can go on online with you can't return it. so make sure you really want it. (...)

An Okay Game
This game is not for people who like action games. My friend came over to play it and he thinks it is horrible, but I think it is ok. So overall if you like slashing swords and shooting do not get this game or you will be disapointed. The only action you can do is walk around the morgue. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Given the success of NBA Street it was only a matter of time before EA Sports took the street concept to its flagship sport, football. And even though there really is no such thing as street football, the concept is a winner. Straight up smash mouth football with no penalties and no clock--just the ball, the field, seven vs. seven playing offense and defense, all for the glory of the game? Boom! Wap!

The game licenses all the NFL teams and some 100 big-league players. The characters models are exaggerated, so don't expect likenesses to be exact, but it's fun taking a bunch of current Packer greats and stuffing the rock down the throats of seven Rams. Game modes let you choose players from single teams or create your own pro bowl, and there is a nice assortment of QBs, RBs, corners, WRs, tight ends, and O and D-linemen. There's a lot of strategy in picking your team. Sure, running backs and quarterbacks are givens, but a corner can intercept better than a wide receiver though he won't catch as well. A big offensive lineman can be useful, but he doesn't tackle well when forced to play defense. When playing two-player, you can really stack your line and shut down the enemy passing or running attack, or go for a balanced corp.

You can play a ladder or league by creating your own team, which is annoyingly time consuming. An option to draft your own NFL stars and go through would be nice, instead you have to pick a cadre of nobodies and fill out their stats. Pick a name, a logo, and try to beat the pros with your average Joes. Winning gives you points and you can upgrade from there. It's a nice option but only for the hardcore players; casual players are effectively shut out from continuing play because of it.

EA hired "street" artists to design wonderful load screens, but this makes the player models look dull by comparison. One wishes they had used cel shading and that street look to the characters, but instead we get freakish players that generally look the same. Uninspired, un-intimidating, and, frankly, boring.

The gameplay works. There's a nice assortment of offensive, defensive, and trick plays. There are no special teams, no punting, and extra points are two points for a pass, one for a run. Mastering the buttons is key because the game rewards style, impressive plays, and more. Gathering these points opens new playing fields and, if you like, can be a victory option. The computer is programmed to catch up when behind, annoyingly so, so this is more of a blast against a human opponent. The fast action and brutal hits are reminiscent of NFL Blitz (which is a better game) but EA Big has started something here. Next year this could be really big. --Andrew S. 4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome Arcade Football
I've been looking forward to NFL Street for a few months now. With Blitz gone, where would I get my arcade football fix? NFL Street quickly solved those problems. The game is fast paced, frantic, and really fun.

Pros:

Sweet Graphics (Looks like NBA Street Vol. 2)
Fast Gameplay w/ lots of big hits
Easy to Pick and Play
Controls are good (like Madden, but easier)
Cool Unlockables
Awesome Multiplayer
Online (PS2 only though...)
Interceptions are sweet
Cons:

Impossible to play defense (especially stopping the run)
Way too many fumbles (I've had 3 or 4 on one play)
Action gets a little too frantic sometimes (can't see where your player is or ball, or anything else for that matter)
Limited Playbook ( Only like 15- 20 Offensive plays, same with defense)
Replay options are a bit lacking
If the other player has a gamebreaker, you're screwed

Just Wondering:

How do the fat lineman catch my super speedy running back and recievers?

All in all, NFL Street is an excellent arcade football game. While it is a bit rough around the edges, EA Big has still managed to craft another incredibly addictive "Street" game. Great to play with friends.

1-0 out of 5 stars dis game sucks
dis game sucks (...)bad if it had better fields more accurate gameplay and timed games and like a bizzillion uther things it might get 2 or more stars, but till then it sucks.

P.S. if i could id give it zero stars.

Great game!
This is by far the best game I have gotten for my gamecube. There is so much to do and so much to unlock. The crazy style moves make this a free stlye, off the wall game which makes it really fun. The NFL challenge is hard at first, but isnt terribly hard. defense is hard, so make sure to build up your defensive attributes first. Once you get the swing of things this game can give you hours and hours of fun. Different style moves include: spins, hurdles, jukes, an runs. Some inclue show me the money, he got shook, tornado, side steppin, air time. Get out there, open it up, and have some fun!

a new leage in football
i like this game. it is a great game to customize ur team playewrs and more. when u first start the game the controls and everything are very confusing but after the second game or so u pick up the game easier. the trash talk is very funny and entertianing and so is the enviroments such as on the beach were u can hit beach balls. overall this is a great game to add to ur collection.
pros: great graphics
not too hard not too easy
and much more
cons: wen u first play it the game controls r confusing and it feels like every thing is going real fast.

2-0 out of 5 stars Street genre doesn't translate to Football
You might be tempted to buy this game if you like NBA Street. Unfortunately, you will be disapointed. The street feel simply doesn't carry over into a football simulation. The game play is really simple, and the graphics are pretty decent but this game is an just an average football simulation. The gamebreaker is stupid, and all the players talk the exact same trash. This is a one day rental. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome!
This game is very good and very well done. I knew it would be great when I first heard about it. I first learned about it in a special gaming disney adventures magazine only in stores. It said there would be a samurai jack game and that it would release in November 2004. I guess they held up the release. Anyway this game is really cool. It's also cool that Sega made it because most of the time Bam Entertainment makes the games. The game has the real voice actors well at least Jacks because everyone else is new to the game. I'm sure that Akus voice is the same from the show too. The game loads fast but saves for a long time. You get to use weapons like a bow and arrow and diffrent kinds of swords. You also learn moves which help a lot. You can also enter sakai mode to slow the game down so you can defeat really hard enemies. It sounds like Jack was just sent to the future but when you start the game it starts as another story about Jack trying to get into the time portal. The game has four worlds and 24 levels. I must say for a teen rated game it is pretty easy to finish, I beat the first world in an hour or something and I was on normal mode. There are three difficulty levels: easy, normal, and hard. I may just be a very good gamer to beat the first world so fast or maybe it was just an easy level. I'm on the second world but I haven't started any levels in it yet. The game stays true to the series with the same cutlines and a slow motion mode. There is humor in it like the show. I really reccommend this game even to kids because it's not really violent because you kill robots not people. There is no blood in it. Overall this game is fun and if you're a fan you should get this game.

4-0 out of 5 stars A fast paced, fun, stylish platformer very true to Jack.
Introduction-
Being a Samurai Jack fan since day one of it's presense, my review here may seem a bit biased. I'll try to be objective as possible.

Development-
When I initially became aware of this game, I heard it endured quite a tough development, making my appreciation for the game moreso in it's release at all. After I heard of the switch and that the team heading production was now SEGA of America, I was very excited. SEGA is responsible for creating some of the best action platformers ever, especially the new Sonic Heroes. I knew SEGA would be true to Jack's inherient sleek action style and lovely spontaneous humor that never dissapoints. I am not dissapointed. Shadow of Aku retains the unique feel and qualities of the show while basing the games interaction mainly around pure Samurai Jack action.

Control-
Sakai mode, which is the games slow-motion feature, allows for recreation of stunning Jack show visuals. The combo system utilized is nothing short of extraordinary. It is used in conjunction with Sakai mode and give the player the ablity to literally immerse themself in the Samurai Jack universe while performing a vast array of Jack moves. Control only falls short when Jack jumps and attempts to land. Each forward jump and landing requires the forward directional button to be released at exactly the right time, or Jack will take a step forward. This only makes control difficult for hopping moving platforms.

Story-
The story line is pretty sparce, which could be viewed as a flaw. I believe however that due to the action oriented nature of this game that too much story line would draw from the intensity and break the continuity of the game. This is not saying that the game is without Jackness, in fact it is beaming brightly with Jack traits and humor.

Graphics-
I've heard several rumours that Shadow of Aku is Cel-shaded, but I have confirmed otherwise. Jack's graphics are superior and breathtaking, especially while combo's are being performed. Scenery stays very detailed even while action is ridiculosly heavy. Fog only appears in respect to the Samurai Jack universe and does not cover detail. Jack's animation stays fluid and constant. In few words, the graphics are very impressive.

Sound-
Beautifully orchestrated and truely complimenting to the feel of Shadow of Aku. Being a musician myself, I appreciate the time spent in creating rather long peices which capture the atomosphere of an area well and loop seemlessly. Sound effects and music blend well and never pose an annoyance. Thoroughly enjoyable, especially when the trademark Jack Techno and Orchestra elements blend for action sequences.

Saving-
Arrgh, okay. This is probably the most frustrating portion of the game. I'm not sure if the different versions of this game for other systems have the same delay in saving as the this version, but it certain poses an annoyance on the GameCube. The game loads very quickly, but saving is a different matter. Saving occurs after a level and before a level. Each save requires an unusually lengthy amount of time, sometimes in excess of 1 minute. This is aggrivating and heavily hinders the brilliant and well-planned pacing of the game. I suppose patience is key here, but it shouldn't be so...

Overall-
This game in few words is genious and beautifully executed. The graphics are smooth (especially while in Sakai mode), the control is delicate and transition between CGI elements and actual gameplay are virtually seemless. Recommended buy. I bought this title the day it was released, I suggest you do the same. Afterall, you do have the ability to randomly open portals to different points in time, don't you... Aku?!
