4-0 out of 5 stars Get the right one
All I'm gonna say about this game is make sure you get the Collector's Edition for PS2 only. (...)In addition to the regular version of Madden NFL 2005 in limited edition collectible packaging, the Collector's Edition will include: playable classic versions of Madden from the 16-bit era and two from the PlayStation era, a Madden trivia challenge with over 1000 questions, "Madden Moments" spanning the past 15 seasons, and historical playoff teams from the past 15 years--each with their authentic uniforms. Other goodies exclusive to the Collector's Edition will include: bonus video content including footage of "The Madden Phenomenon", "The Music of Madden", and a documentary looking into how the game is developed every year from scratch.

5-0 out of 5 stars greatest football game ever made
madden 2005 is the absolute greatest football game made. the new defense options are great and the hit stick, phew, i love it. thats all i like to do on defense is use it on the quarterback for a sack, force fumbles, and the best part is when i hit the reciever so hard he just drops the ball. i also like how the game has tackles that are more realistic and u cant just bounce off of 5 defenders and run for 100 yards. you should really buy this game. p.s. the story mode is a great feature to make the franchise even more fun and competitive.

2-0 out of 5 stars this game is worse than 04
Im 15 years old. I think that this is the worst football game sinse 2000. Not because of the graphics, their great, or because of all the new features either there also great, except one. John Madden thought that it would be a great idea to have no choice on if you want or don't want to have the salary cap turned off. Now usually I play for the first couple years with a salary cap, like i did this year, but I found out that after I played 2 years of my season I couldn't play because I was 30,000,000 dollars in the hole and I did not have any created players, and they were all average players. I play with the vikings. The only people on that roster that have big salaries are Moss and Culpepper. Why doesn't madden get rid of that AI. thing, that is the dumbest thing on the game. I sure hope Madden doesnt do that again next year or I wont be buying his game.

5-0 out of 5 stars Madden 2005 is the best
Madden 2005 is the best football game i have ever played I love the new storyline central and the new hit stick with those agressive defenses this game has great graphics and the players overall ratings are perfect and this game is way better than espn nfl 2k5 even though this game costs way more money I love this game and it is to die for the best game ever!!!!!!!!! p.s. you must either rent or buy this game!!!!!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars MADDEN CHALLENGE
This year of Madden is going to be the best ever. The new defensive controls are going to put an exciting new twist on game. It used to only be fun playing offense but now you can enjoy both sides of the ballo to make how you play the game way more intense. These new features are going to really add tension in this years Madden Challenge.....Its already intense with 50 Gs on da line but with Hit Stick having the ability to change the outcome of the game..wow.its gonna be crazy.....c u in line for the game or at the Madden Challenge....P3@CE ... Amazon.com Review

Early Adopters Pick: March 2003. As theworld's smallest video-game platform, the Game Boy Advance SP is also the first to use a built-in rechargeable battery.

Many decried the original Game Boy Advance's reflective LCD screen and its reliance on external light sources. The Game Boy Advance SP's main feature--optional backlighting--fixes this complaint nicely, but it's the wealth of other features that makes this system so surprisingly good.

At first look, you might think the SP is a sleek travel alarm clock. When closed, it's just as tall and deep as the original GBA, but only half as wide. Due to its clamshell design, the screen is always protected from everyday scratches. A small button in the center of the console turns on the backlighting element for use in low-light situations, like in a moving car.

Game Boy Advance angle diagram The SP comes with a well-designed power adapter that recharges a built-in battery; its prongs fold in for easier storage. Our informal tests found that it takes about four hours to fully charge (you can even play it while it's plugged in and charging), and the battery lasts about 11 hours with the backlighting constantly on--your results may vary. Using the backlighting less often will conserve battery power.

Withseparately soldcables, you can connect the Game Boy Advance SP to other GBAsfor multiplayer gaming (above) or to theNintendo GameCube(below) to access secret levels, exchange data, or use other specialfeatures that vary from game to game.
The quality of the backlighting is very good. It's bright and clear when looking directly at it, but degraded from other angles. This is only a problem for friends who are watching the screen from over your shoulder.

But size, power, and affordability do not come without trade offs. There's no headphone jack here, though Nintendo promises an adapter. The system isn't very loud at its highest volume, and the sound can be turned down to socially acceptable levels. The L and R shoulder buttons are a fraction of the size they were on the GBA, and thus are harder to hit. Also, the reduced size of the SP is slightly less comfortable for adult hands than the GBA, but perhaps more comfortable for smaller hands. The cartridge port placement on the lower part of the console is fine for GBA games, since they are flush with the console body, but older Game Boy Color carts will stick out in a way that takes some getting used to.

Open it up and the hinge will seek out a preferred, pre-set angle (about 150 degrees), though you can open it a bit wider or narrower for your own comfort. The hinge stands up well to lateral pressure, and over all, the SP seems just as rugged as its predecessor--which has proven to be very rugged, indeed. --Porter B. Hall

5-0 out of 5 stars Gameboy Advance SP Review
If you were thinking about buying an original Gameboy Advance I would highly reccomend reconsidering. I recently purchased the new GBA SP and was very impressed with the sleek design and great performance of this product. The visuals are very nice, and there are tons of great games out there available for the system. If you were concered about the small size don't worry my hands are fairly large, and holding the system was very comfortable. The Frontlit screen is probobly the most notealbe and anticipated new feature the system has to offer, I was able to play games in a room without any lighting whatsoever with ease, and with the new Lithium Ion battery being used as the power source you won't be needing to spend money on batteries for roughly 3 years; This feature will pay for itself over and over again. I have owned a good deal of handheld consoles and by far this this is the most innovative of them all, finally Nintendo Got it right! My only complaint was the lack of a built in headphone jack for private listening, so you'll have to pay a bit more for the headphone adapter if you plan on using headphones. Unfortunately it always seems to be bundled with something, other than being sold as a standalone item, But the good that this product has to offer greatly outweighs the bad, which makes it highly reccomendalbe. If you have been searching for a great handheld system your search is over, So what are you waiting for? There's no time like there present and these little handhelds are going fast, better get yours while they are still so abundant. ;)

4-0 out of 5 stars Superb Portable Gaming Device
I must say, Nintendo has done a damn good job with their Gameboy Advance SP. The only gameboy I had ever owned was the original. At first I didn't want anything to do with any more Gameboys. But after trading a bunch of games in at ebgames, I had about 80 bucks worth of credit and couldn't think of a damn thing to buy. On a whim, I bought a GBA and FF Tactics Advance.
Well that didn't work out to well, as I was plagued by terrible shoulder/arm/back pains at having to sit in the most uncomfortable positions to get decent lighting.

I therefore decided on getting a GBA SP for Christmas, and after some thorough playing I can safely say it's worth the money if you like the GBA's library or find yourself away from home often with nothing to do.

The control is decent, some games such as Mario 3 get a little tough when you have to hold B and pump A, but Nintendo was nice enough to allow the R Shoulder button to act a substitute.
The folding design allows the screen to remain safe from scratches and collects only minimal dust, and is great for fitting in the pocket.
And the backlight can be turned on and off, and you'll want it off when playing in bright areas to reduce color washing.

Thankfully, there aren't too many problems with this device.
The only real problem I have is that it has no stickies or pads on the bottom when folded up to hold it to a surface. This is a bother because most of the surfaces in my house are smooth countertops, or tabletops or desktops, and the wooden ones are glossed. The last thing you want is to have this thing fall off the table and break, and with nothing to help keep it in place I get a little worried.

Overall, nothing to be worried about. The best portable system for the cost.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great portable game machine
As a grown man, I sometimes hate to admit I'm still a gamer. I play Real-Time Simulations (Command & Conquer etc), flight simulators and shooters. I usually take my SP along when I want to play Chess Master on the plane, or a little bit of Top Gear GT. The backlit screen is awesome and the rechargable battery seems to work fine.

Best thing ever made!!!
I have this SP and I love it!I bring it almost everywhere I go and play Pokemon Silver. I play it in bed and with the backscreen light I have no problem seeing the screen. And, something that most people dont bring up, I like that it has a lever instead of a wheel for volume. The folding design is awesome, especially since it goes to daycare with me and there are alot of little kids that just take it off the table and drop it.I recommend this to all you major gamers out there.

Best one yet
The new game boy advance Sp is the best one yet! The design is perfect, including conviniatly placed buttons.

PROS
- A backlight (a light built into the screen - like a tv has so that you can see it in the dark with out turning on the lights) for at night play, in boring movies, on the airplane, or on long road trips.

- the L and R buttons are convenientily placed

- built in battery that is charged by connecting the gameboy to an in the wall outlet, or car outlet

- while the battery is charging you can still play a game

- you control wether you want the back light on or not

- can play game boy, game boy color, and game boy advance games, as well as the new videos available

- better than a video now player for videos, this screen is lighted like a tv screen, in color, and has a bigger screen

Cons
- there are none! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A small step for mankind, but a great leap for Pokemon!
Title; Pokemon Fire Red
Players;1-40 (in the union room)
Genre; RPG
Introduction; Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green are both remakes of the original two Pokemon games that launched in Japan which were Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green. The mass popularity of these games then led to the release of Pokemon Blue, and then Pikachu (Yellow as we know it)version.
Review; Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green are definately my most anticipated titles at the moment. Why? Because of four reasons.
1.It's OFFICIAL POKEMON!
2.It comes with the super-cool Wireless Adapter which clicks into the holes either side of the link cable port and the link cable port and allows you to play Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green WIRELESS!
3.Every place has had a complete makeover, and the sound has been improved too, making the graphics as good as Ruby/Sapphire!
4.Nine new islands have been added to these games, but they aren't like Johto, Kanto, Hoenn or Orre. No, they are just a few towns each.
(...)

Nostalgia+Technology=A Really Great Game!
This game is great! If you want Kanto pokemon in your Ruby/Sapphire, this game is for you. It offers the original 150 pokemon (Mew is currently unobtainable), some Johto pokemon and even Deoxys in two cool new forms.

Travel to some of your favorite original places, from the Viridian Forest to the Unknown Dungeon, and some new places, including the 9 brand new "Rainbow Islands!" Even use the wireless adaptor to travel to the Union Room, where you can chat, trade and battle others in the room without a link cable (even though the link cable is still compatible with the game)!

Good news for you Charmander fans: Charmander can learn metal claw at level 13, meaning Brock's going to be a whole lot easier with Charmander!

Overall, this game combines the latest GBA innovations with nostalgia, and I find it a great (and fun) game. I could play it for months.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWSOME!!!!
MAN I JUST I GOT S GAME! Amazon.com Review

Take the power and flexibility of a dedicated computer gaming system and combine it with the easy-to-use, instant-on format of a high-end console system and what do you get? Well, if you also add in DVD playback ability and broadband Internet connectivity, you get Xbox.

The advanced components inside Xbox make it the undisputed powerhouse among current game consoles. A 733 MHz Intel main processor and 233 MHz graphics processor from industry leader nVidia deliver photorealistic graphics in real time. A cavernous hard drive stores saved games and characters, making flimsy memory sticks obsolete. The built-in Ethernet port enables super-fast multiplayer online gaming over a broadband Internet connection. Four game controller ports allow you and three of your buddies to play at the same time, or you can use them for other peripherals such as gamepads, light guns, and who knows what else?

But Xbox has more going for it than fancy innards. The Xbox's Windows-based operating system is a breeze to program on, earning it grateful accolades from Electronic Arts, Infogrames, THQ, and other game producers. The less time developers spend struggling with the operating system means the more time they spend tweaking gameplay, which ultimately results in better games. And games are what it's all about.

Well, games and the fun of owning a green-glowing game console that looks like it came from Darth Vader's living room.--Mike Fehlauer

The Xbox Video Game System with Controller S includes the Xbox console, the popular "S" style Microsoft controller, and all necessary cables. A DVD kit (sold separately) is required to access DVD playback ability.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Graphics, but not without its flaws.
The Xbox is an excellent system for any gamer. The graphics are amazing, the sounds is killer and {most} of the games are excellent. Unfortunately, just like the PS2 and Gamecube, the Xbox is not without its faults.
Good:

Amazingly detailed graphics
Capable of incredible sound effects
Can play CDs and DVDs (not without a remote though)
4 Controller Ports
Good variety of Games
Well Supported by 3rd party developers
Some excellent exclusive games (Halo, Project Gotham 2, Halo 2)
150 dollar price point is 30 dollars less than PS2 (but still 50 dollars more than Gamecube)
Best Online Service (Xbox Live!)

The Bad

System weighs a lot-don't expecting anything you can bring on vacation
System is ugly-basically a big, clunky box
Lack of RPGS (save Knights of the Old Republic)
Lack of quirky (strange Japanese/Anime/just plain weird) games such as Mister Mosquito and Animal Crossing.
Lack of "kiddie" games- Xbox is geared toward the 15+ crowd
EA Sports games are not online compatible (the PS2 versions are though)

Overall the Xbox is an excellent system choice for gamers who love action/shooter/online games. The Xbox excels in these areas;in fact it blows the competition out of the water. But, due to the lack of games in certain genres, I have to knock the score down a star. That being said, if you are looking for a graphics powerhouse that is home to the best online games (Mech Assault, Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell Pandora's Tommorow) and the best action games (Halo, Halo 2, Brute Force, Deus Ex 2), then you should purchase an Xbox as soon as possible.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best console at the moment
XBOX REVIEW

I own both XBOX and PS2 and I think Xbox is better. PS2 wastes my time because its gone in to the world of disk read heaven. Xbox never has this problem unless your disk is dirty, and GTA double pack froze on me but only for the first 3 days of owning it. PS2 may have a wide selection of games but over half of them are rubbish. Xbox has less of the crap games. The graphics are better than the PS2, multiplayer is better, thanks to xbox live. There is a hard drive for xbox so you can borrow music of your friends and store it on to your hard drive as well as game saves(you can use a memory card to take data onto someone's xbox). The PS2 doesn't need a dvd controller but xbox does(people will often already have a dvd player anyway).

I'm sick of people saying that xbox is bad because graphics are great and gameplay is more important. XBOX is the ultimate gaming system for action games, Ninja gaidan is one of the best action games available and it's only on xbox and oxm(official xbox magazine UK)gave it 9.2. It's one of the highest ratings along with SPLINTER CELL 2, HALO, MAX PAYE 2, PROJECT GOTHAM 2 and BLINX the time sweeper and more. Ninja G.... is so good that OXM said cast your mind back to when you kicked someone through a stained glassed window in DEAD OR ALIVE 2 and remember how thrilling it was, times it by a million times and Ninja.....delivers on thrills . Buy the xbox for that game.

Check out these very good games that are coming out in the future on xbox, ADVENT RISING(action), Kill switch(shooting), manhunt(horror action), Driv3r(formally named driver 3 and it's like GTA), Full spectrum warrior(only on xbox, action), Spider man 2, Burnout 3, Richard burn's rally, Fable(only on Xbox)(RPG), Ghost recon 2(3rd person action), Halo 2(only on xbox), Pro evolution soccer, Break down(only on xbox, innovative 1st person shooter), Doom 3(only on xbox and PC), Dead or alive 4, Delter force black hawk down, Def jam vendetta 2(wrestling), Goldenye 2, Freedom fighters 2, Half life 2(only on xbox and PC), Jade empire(RPG), Otogi 2, Prince of Percia 2, Quake 4, PSI ops, Starwars Kotor 2(RPG), True crime 2, Top spin 2, The Matrix, Time splitters 3, Silent Hill 4 and Star craft ghost. BUY THE XBOX FOR THOSE GAMES and I didn't list all the games that are only for xbox.

Don't believe anyone that says xbox is trash because play Tony Hawks under ground on Ps2 and the gameplay is sluggish and so are the graphics compared to the xbox. Splinter cell 1 first came to Xbox with great graphics and gameplay and 5 months or so later it came out on PS2, people saying graphics improved, wrong. All the developers did was add a few colours on PS2 and xbox still had the best lightining effects and so on. When ever there's a game that goes multy format, it'll usually be best on xbox and Soul calibre 2 is a prime example.

PS2 better all the way.
Okay people, listen up.Xbox is a good system and all,and has a built in memory saver(whataever its called)think of the size and memory. The things like a MONSTER.It takes up alot of room. And the memory on it is not portable ! So that does not allow you to take it to your friends house.

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't Judge if your a PS2 OWNER!
Listen, a lot of people here giving it a 0/5 stars all own PS2s, and probably have never played on an Xbox. Listen, an Xbox will cost about the same as a PS2, with the accessories. You see, the PS2 only has 2 controller ports, so they spend money buying a hookup for four. Xbox has that. On the other hand, Xbox can't play DvDs without the little kit. In the end they both break even. Both systems have the same ammount of buttons (Trust me, I own both) and they both get great games. Some great games for Xbox are Halo, Mech Assault, Riddick. Some great PS2 games are Red Faction (older classic, like Halo...), Jak and Dex, and some others.

So what makes an Xbox better? Well, Xbox's may not get as many unique games (Which is funny, because a lot of the PS2's unique games SUCK!), but it has a way better graphic engine and a nice onboard memory (NO NEED FOR MEMORY CARDS!!LESS MONEY!). Almost forgot, Online has some nice perks too.

Now, don't listen to idiots who have never played BOTH, but someone who has both. If you want to spend less money, I would go with this, because there are alot of games that come out for both, but they usually look better on this!

Don't count Nintendo out, they have some...odd...perks

PS2 Better...
People if u are thinking about getting XBOX, reconsider. I have PS2 and XBOX. Yeah maybe XBOX has more features but PS2 is the system to get. PS2 has more games u can't get on XBOX. plus your XBOX will tire it self out and die within 1 year. U can have PS2 as long has u want as long as u take care of it. SO ALWAYS GET PS2. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Jak Rocks!
This game is really cool. It starts off when Jak is being banished from Haven City by Count Vegar because of his dark eco powers and because of his accidental connections with Kor and Krew in Jak II. He then is found by some of the Wastelanders who live in the desert Jak was banished to and to prove that he is useful, Jak has to defeat a battle arena challenge that also doubles as instructions on how to play. Also in the Wasteland, you can get a lot of off road vehicles that are a lot of fun to drive. After a while, Jak is called back to Haven City for help because three different groups are fighting for power over the city. The Metal Heads, the KG, and the people of Haven city. Jak also has to save the entire planet from the power of the Dark Precuseors which gets pretty interesting. He also needs to protect the Precurseor powers from Vegar because he wants to rule with them. While Jak is trying to save just about everything, he recieves some really cool powers from the Precurseors. To Balance out Dark Jak he gets Light Jak powers that help him heal, defend, stop time, and even fly. You also get a lot of new guns instead of just 4 from the last game you get 12. Another reason why this game is cool is because you learn the story of Jax's past that ties everything together. For example, you learn who Jak's Father really is. Some more positives of this game are that you get to stay Dark Jak for a long time and the JET-board goes a bit faster in this game. Some negitives are that the plot is very weird when you find out who the precurseors are but other than that the story is very cool and interesting. P.S. if you haven't played JakII you should probably buy that one first so that you can understand this game.

Jak is back after a year of what seemed to be peaceful times. After the dealings with Krew and Kor, the people of Haven City turned on Jak. Jak is banished to the Wastelands, where Sig lives, for life by Veger. Daxter is banished as well and Pecker comes along. After fainting, Jak and the gang are found by Damus, the king of the city of Spargus and his pack of forgotten ones. Damus gives Jak a challenge, and if he doesn't pass, "it will be as if he was never found." After passing the tests, Kliever, who will be much like Krew, giving you weapons and vehicles, gives you a series of missions. New Dark Eco powers will be revealed as well as a Light Eco form. There will be 4 guns with 3 possible upgrades, or 12 possible ways to kick Metal Head butt. When this game hits the stores, you all know where I'll be. All will be revealed, in Jak 3.

1-0 out of 5 stars Great game!!!
So basically...this game is a first person shooter game and you are playing a guy named Chuchuba. Chuchuba is a brother of a dog Chiwhawha but correct me if I spelled Chiwhawha wrong. And then once you kill the General Murphin this game suddenly changes and becomes RPG. Then you are Yuna from Final Fantasy and you are naked and dancing around crazily for good. I don't know why Sony has ruined this great franchise that was famous for featuring Onimusha but I wonder if Onimusha and Inuyasha are brothers or something. Inuyasha is a half-demon like Dante from Devil May Cry but Tak is an Indian I think. If you ever played Tak and the Power of Juju don't play it again cause I'm not playing either. When the school starts I'm not gonna buy this game because I don't think it will be released by then. I encourage you to not buy this game as well because The Legend of Zelda is changed to The Legend of Link. Yeah, now it's more understandable because you hardly ever see Zelda in Zelda games infurrusly. I had a rabbit named Jinny and it bit my finger cause my fingers smelled like onion bread. But I love onion bread!!! So I decided to eat my rabbit but never tried because it was so cute and it stopped biting and started licking my body. O man, it even licked where a mosquito bit me and the mosquito bite dissapeared believe it or not! Now I recommand that you go to a movie theater near your house and watch other people who are watching movie. If you ever find my rabbit that is in Korea I beg you to take it to an animal hospital because it's pee was not very liquidary and somewhat solidary. Thank you very much for reading this and I hope you don't buy this and steal it and self-arrest you because it would be funny to watch. Thank you very much for reading this and...I lose patience...so thank you very much for reading this (...)

In the last of the trilogy Jak is banished to the wasteland along with pecker and of course daxter. They travel for days and Jak feints. He wakes up at a desert town. The people that live there are called marauders. The lead maurauder sends jak on mission after mission and eventually retuns to haven city.Evidently though, the metal heads destroyed the tethers to the palace and it fell down.Jak is exposed to light eco and is transformed into light jak at certain points of the game. The legend of the precursors will finnaly be revealed. THere are new upgrades on dark jak along with the old moves. You can unlock vehicles to use such as a dune buggy with upgrades to unlock. You can get a small black fighter ship to destroy water opponents with. You can get a hopper-a small animal that you can ride and you use it for item pick up in the city.Other vehicles such as a turret on wheels will be available to those who purchase them with a certain number of kills for example if you kill 5 things you get 5 points added to your meter and you can hold up to 150 points. The turret is about 75 points and can only be used in forest type area. there are many vehicles to use so kill as many enemies as possible! Daxter will also have a much bigger role than in than in the last game.Pecker will also be able to be used to fly and collect items in the air. The jetboard and titan-siut are back to help jak tear up his obstacles. The guns are back too each having three modes. The modes include a little ball that shoots every enemy in its path and bullets that bounce off the walls to the peacemakers ability to be a homing device and a nuke in a metal head arena. The precursor robot returns and right now it is for unkwon purposes as well as erol who fused himself with robotic parts so he would stay alive and he poses a great threat to jak as he wants revenge.samos and kiera will barely be seen throughout the game as well as ashlin.I will update with more info as soon as i can:)

I hope you like my review:)

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Moment!!
I am a HUGE fan of pokemon even though people tell me I'm not a child anymore (I'm 14) Who cares! I'm totally excited about the Green/Red games appearing. I just recently played my old red and remembered how much I loved it when I got it. This will be even better. The new connector to link battles and chatters is new and a great idea. New graphics, new people and eh...imported things from the other version is going to be a great installment. I'm really looking forward to getting this game...so should you!

5-0 out of 5 stars OMG a re-make of PKMN Red/Green
This game gives you the chance to talk to people and trade/battle without actully having to do any connecting any cords, and because it's one of the first games to have this accesory, they give it to you free with the purchace, this will make Nintendo go up in Pok'emon products, and, which i highly doubt, more people could like the remake better, and actully buy more! The old game revolutionized the gameboy system, and this game gives honor and respect to, probably, the best gameboy game ever, an awsome chance to relive it's golory days, with a few new changes

5-0 out of 5 stars That's the best game
If you are a pokemon fan this is the game for you. This game is similar to red version, except it contains all the cool futures of Ruby and Suppire. When i first started this game i thought it will be boring, but i was wrong, this game was the best pokemon game i ever played. You can catch Enti, and othe Jhotoe's pokemon. This game is twice as long as red version. It has 7 extra island that conatins Jhotoe's pokemons. You can get Lugia, Ho-Oh too. The graphic is awsome, the trees and the houses look better than in Ruby/Suppire version. Believe me this will be the best pokemon game you ever buy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awsome remake!
The makers of pokemon did a great job remaking the classic games that got most of us fans hooked better gameplay better graphics better story line and the endless new possibilities i definatley give this game 5 stars although they should have came out with a ocean blue as well that would have been neat

4-0 out of 5 stars Another one? Ah well.
Pokemon merchandise has faded ever since the cards came out. But the games still show that Nintendo has some potential. I'm no pokemon fan. And I certainly do not collect TCG cards. But I have been buying pokemon games since Gold/Silver came out. Nintendo shows that Pokemon can still be in just not in a collecting way. Leafgreen and Firered show almost no "revolutionary" gaming experiences or "leaps" from its predecessors. But it's still fun. Wireless Adapter? We can wait until Nintendo DS comes out. graphics? Not very new. I've seen better. Just get F-Zero when it comes out. But the fun cannot be matched by almost none and gameplay is quite good. So even though pokemon merchandise TCG is out, Nintendo gaming is definetely in. ... Read more

Withseparately sold cables , you can connect the Game Boy Advance SP to other GBAsfor multiplayer gaming (above) or to theNintendo GameCube (below) to access secret levels, exchange data, or use other specialfeatures that vary from game to game.

Cons
- there are none! ... Read more

Easiest Controller
usally doesn't cost nothing to get online
Cons:
The worst graphics, but not all that bad
Can have long annoying loading times
Need to buy memory cards
Need to buy multitap in order to have 4 players
What's up with Final Fantasy XI(They wan't $99 for game and hard drive, and pay money to be online every month, they're NUTS!!!!)

Xbox(Top 3 games:Halo/Grand Theft Auto Double Pack/Star Wars KOTOR
Pros:
Best graphics out of three
Best for multiplatform games(Like Max Payne, it was better on this than PS2)
no memory cards
Custom sountracks(On selected game)
The fastest loading systems
The best suited for T and M rated games(My kinda games)
Cons:
The controller is still a little frustrating(And I had the dang thing for a while, I need a controller S)

Xbox live costs a bit, but no that much
So far still behind in games, but it's movin on up!
Too bad it can't burn mixed CD songs on it(Cuz I hate grabbing my regular CDs just to get 1 song)
Have to buy DVD kit to play DVDs
STOP DELAYING HALO 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gamecube(Top 3 games:Zelda:Wind Waker/Super Smash Brothers Meele/Metroid Prime
Pros:
Nice tiny compact system
Good ol fasion nintendo games on a new Nintendo system
50% technology/50%good games

Cons:
Not the best for fighting games, (altho I brought Soul Calibur 2 because of Link, and it worked out)
Must take care of discs or one bad scratch can put it out of commision
Cant play DVDs or CDs, but hey it's devoted to nothing but games
Needs memory cards
Bairly any online games(I only know one, and thats Phantasy Star Online)

This console war stuff is stupid, lemme say it again, it's just stupid. It's just baisicly peple who only have one of the consoles, and are mad that they don't have the other one, so they bash it hoping to stop the anger. Like when people say PS2 has atari graphics, if thats what you see, get some friggin glasses yo! And whoever says Xbox has no games, and says Halo's garbage it's catchin on up, and Halo is so far the best game I've played on any new generation console, and anyone who treats gamecube like junk, they're just missiing out on some of the good stuff. Me I just say get all three, because all of them are very good systems, I don't care if one says one systems better than the other, they're all good!

Best System Available
The Playstation 2 Entertainment System is the best videogame console available. Sure, Xbox has those awsome graphics, but have you seen the TERRIBLY clunky controler? And Gamecube isn't any good either, believe me, I owned one. It has a very small library of games, and the games it DOES have are mostly for little kids. The PS2 has the USB Headset, Internet Adapter, a HUGE library of games, it plays DVD's and CD's, and it's backwards-compatible (it plays PSX games)! My only complaint is that the graphics aren't all that sharp. If you are older than 9, and looking to buy a videogame console, look no further. Go out and buy one. NOW. If you don't beleive me, ask one of the 60,0000'th PS2 owners out their.

Games I reccomend:

Medal of Honor Frontline

Grand Theft Auto III

ATV Offroad Fury 2

Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec

Jak II

Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando

Final Fantasy (Pick one of the many titles)

PS2 ROCKS!!! (Note: Look for the PS3 in the next 2-4 years...)

5-0 out of 5 stars The PS2 is the best gaming system out right now
OK. Put it this way. XBOX sucks. Gamecube sucks. For XBOX, you have to freakin pay to play online. for the PS2, all you need is the Internet adaptor. And what the heck is up with the XBOX controller? Its fat and ugly. Plus the PS2 is more compact and easier carry. Plus, you have to pay more to even do what the XBOX is capable of. 30 dollars for a dvd remote just so you can be able to play dvd's on the XBOX? thats crazy. With the PS2, all you need is the PS2 and a controller. Plus the PS2 has a WIDER variety of games to play than both systems combined. Sure the XBOX may have better graphics, but thats it. So hands down, the PS2 is the best system to buy right now.

3-0 out of 5 stars DVD? Are you sure about that?
I've never been able to get the play station to work as a DVD player, that is a disappointment, since I get sick of having so many wires in my entertainment unit, and it would have been nice to have one machine that performs three functions. (It plays Cd's quite nicely). That aside, It's a wonder machine that plays not only the new Playstation 2 games, but the older Playstation 1. (who wants to render all of their older games as obsolete?) Even though it would have been nice to use it as a DVD player, and I can't, it is a good machine and well worth the little that it costs. (But beware. . .Playstation makes up for the small cost by charging an arm and then some for the games.)

5-0 out of 5 stars I love the playstation2!I
Ok,I dont have it,but I want it BAD!So please buy one! ... Read more

This game, if anything like the others, should be the best "destroyer game" ever! I heard there is going to be a plasma wave, Nitro-Bomb, and an Infusionak-Blaster!

Ratchet and clank three baby!
I bough the first two ratchet and clank games and now comes the third. I all started when I started to buy demo discs and got interested in ratchet and clank. These top sellers I bought both at forty dollars, but I recomend buying thisgame at fifty dollars.I hope this game doesn't sell out quickly.

4-0 out of 5 stars An all new adventure!
First, there was Paper Mario. It was a great game and it made people whine for a second Paper Mario. So, last year Nintendo came out with a similar game for the GBA- Mario and Luigi: The Superstar Saga. Now comes Paper Mario 2! In the game it will really emphasize how everything is made of paper. Mario will now be able to fold into different things to get past obstacles. I have seen one screenshot of Mario and his sidekick (in that picture it was a koopa) folding into a paper airplane to cross a large gap between his path. I did say sidekick too! You will love the hillarious new sidekicks that battle along Mario's side. Also, this game is supposed to be full of jokes and funny things. The only reason I gave it four out of five stars is because you now battle on a stage in front of an audience (the audience eventually grows based on your power) instead of out in the open.
I will buy this game right when it comes out!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best game ever!!
I have paper mario and that was the only best game they had now, paper mario 2 will be the best game ever because now the have new things you could do with the new game. Like now paper mario can transform into diferent things like a boat, airplane and a wheel!! And in the game you have new friends and new emenies await you!! If your waiting for a good game for once then wasting your money on cheap games get this game when it comes out!!!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars WWE Smackdown vs. Raw for PlayStation 2
This is about the best game ever. I loved it and every thing about it is the best. This is a want game!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Ultimate!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Smackdown vs Raw is the coolest game I've ever seen!!!!!!
When I got Smackdown here comes the pain, I thought it was the best game ever! until Smackdown vs Raw came out!!!!!!! It has the best graphics.
What I like best is the superstar voice overs and playing online.
This game is INCREDIBLE!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars WWE SmackDown! vs RAW: Superb Wrestling Game.
Intro: WWE SmackDown! vs RAW is a wrestling video game for the Playstation 2, developed by THQ and Yukes. It is rated 'T' for Teen, for sexual themes, language, lyrics, and most obvious, violence.

Gameplay: The gameplay is just like the previous title of the astonishing SmackDown! series, Here Comes the Pain, and has a new move position: sit position. This enables each wrestler to have more moves in their respective arsenal.

There is also 3 all-new mini-thingies: chop battle, a meter-based chop contest in the corner of the ring, stare contest, which is at the start of the match to somehow sees who gets the early advantage, and shove contest, also a meter-based contest at the start of the match and sees who gets the advantage.

And, if you've played any EA Sports games (such as Madden), there is an all-new Challenge mode which challenges you to about 60 different challenges, for example, make Shawn Michaels tap out of the sharpshooter or beat Undertaker within 3 minutes. You can use the money/credits you've earned to purchase legends, arenas, alternate attires, etc. from the WWE Shopzone, returning from it's 4 year absence since No Mercy.

Also returning from absence since PSOne's SmackDown!2: Know Your Role, an improved Create-A-PayPerView, which enables you to create your dream card, choose your commentary, wrestlers, and arena!

Also new in this highly-anticipated game, Create-A-Belt, which haves you use money made in challenge mode to create championships to defend against other players in the Create-A-PPV mode.

Graphics/Presentation: All wrestlers have been given more polygons (geek-talk for little shapes in an object) for awesome detail. The presentation has been greatly enhanced with re-designed entrances and moves, and more importantly, a great TV-style camera angle.

Sound: Speaking of sound, and speaking of speaking, SmackDown! vs RAW has taken wrestling gaming to an all-new level by adding authentic superstar voiceovers and authentic commentary! THQ has also listened to it's fans, and now they have purchased the use of licenced theme songs.

Replayability: This looks like a very, very fabulous game, and it looks as if the Challenge mode has taken gaming in general to a whole new level, by entering this in a wrestling game. This one will be one to remember....

5-0 out of 5 stars This Game Rocks. The best of the best nevermore/never less
FINALLY ONLINE MODE ON A WWE TITLE. YES I HAVE BEEN WISHING FOR THIS EVER SINCE SYM.

4-0 out of 5 stars Smackdown 6
Wow this is such a huge game. Right now im thinking the creators of this game have done there best in trying to put together a next generation game, and they have suceeded in there accomplishments. Though there is one thing i know of so far that they should have an ring anouncer for this game. Besides that this is basicly the best game i have ever seen in my life. When smackdown here comes the pain first came out i thoght it was the best but the only problem with that is that i didnt have the chance to go and get it, but i were going crazy for it. Then i got it after playing it over my friends house some x amount of times. After that it didnt seem so hot to me but it was still a very good game.I beat it enough times and unlock almost everthing except maybe two people i wasnt interested in. But now smackdown 6 comes out and i cant believe what the creators have done with it but thank you and may god bless you. I hope for many more to come because i have had every one and every year they are geting better and better thank you. I will make sure to buy this game from Target for posting me review thanks target. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST GAME EVER!
After I recieved Metroid Prime for my Birthday Last Year, I fell in love with it, and the series for that matter. Having played AND beaten every Metroid game, I was anticipating this game since it was first confirmed. I went and played Prime trying to master it. My fastest time was 5 Hours and some odd minutes. Not the fastest, but still pretty good.
When Echoes Came out, I tried the Multiplayer out. (Yes, Multiplayer, even better than Halo 2's.) After I tried that, I went straight for the Single Player. Having played the Demo Disc, I expected it to be the same. It wasn't.
I played for a week, and finally beat it with 15 hours. Now, going through Hard Mode, I can say that this game lives up to its name. The Replay Value is there, the Graphics are the best for any console game, the Sound is mesmerizing, the areas are gorgeous, the story is perfect; EVERYTHING! Go get this game if you don't yet, and if you don't have a Cube, GO GET ONE AND GET THIS GAME! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
One word here is that most hate this game because of the controls, but if they say that, then they must not be TRUE gamers, for they shall accomodate to any controls. I play all types of games, and am used to their controls. They fit with the game. Perfectly. Everything about this is perfect.

5-0 out of 5 stars Compared To The First
My friend said you have to buy Metroid Prime for Nintendo Gamecube when it came out so I did. I learned right off this is a hard game but extremely fun and long. Game is over 200 hours which makes it the record breaking longest gameplay. It was amazing looking and everything tied in just right but still was to hard and long. I have seen several screens for Metroid Prime 2 and we might just have the next major competetor for Halo 2 which releases at the same time as this one. The graphics are even more improved along with controls new features and guns. This game will be perfect like the first but only if it's a little more short and not so hard in my opinion.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Sequel to One of the Best Games of All Time
Metroid Prime, in my personal opinion, was THE best GameCube game out there, with its stunning graphics and awesome gameplay. Now, Samus Aran makes what looks like an absolutely fantastic return in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
In this game, Samus journeys to a planet called Aether, which is split into two worlds - the Light World and the Dark World. In the Dark World, Samus can't survive for very long unless she's protected by small transparent domes of light. As she makes her way through the light and dark worlds of Aether, Samus will take on an alien race called the Ing - a race which is at war with each other - as well as an adversary that she will battle throughout the game...Dark Samus, an obviously evil version of Samus.
Even with the awesome storyline and gameplay that's coming with this game, that aspect isn't the only thing that has me excited about MP2. What's exciting me is the new multiplayer mode. That's right - Metroid Prime's coming back with a brand-new multiplayer mode in which you can frag your friends with the various kinds of beams and missiles that Samus has packed into that arm cannon of hers.
With all of this in mind, make sure that you all check the shelves of your local video game store on November 15, because this sequel is sure to be even better than its predecessor. Good Metroid hunting! ... Read more
